The curse of Bobby Layne is no longer in place. He said 50 years and that expired a while ago. Here’s the reason the Lions have bad luck. William Clay Ford bought the Lions on November 22, 1963. That’s same day John F Kennedy was shot and killed. The car he was riding in was a LINCOLN. A product of the FORD motor company, which WCFs Grandfather, Henry, founded. That car is located in a museum in…not Dallas or Washington, but in Dearborn, MI. Home of Ford Motor Company. The museum’s name? The Henry Ford. The exact location? Directly across the street from the Detroit Lions HQ and practice facility. So that bad karma, bad luck car is what’s responsible for the Lions bad luck. So how do we fix it? Put good luck items around it. What has good luck when you find it face up? The penny. Whose face is on the penny? LINCOLN!
OK, it sounds deranged, but not anymore than thinking a football player from Texas has the power to curse a team for decades😊
