The timing & presentation was perfect The pauses she took during her explaining her action on the night in question Had her audience on the edge of their seats

It's called good acting. Your personal sexual preference are quite irrelevant given what she described never happened in the first place. To suggest she had to "dig a little deeper" because she is gay is nonsense. Anymore than she would have to dig if she was playing the toothfairy.
Reminds me of an old Jackie martling joke. The womans telling the judge what happened and when it got to the sex part she said,... and I don't remember what happened next. So the judge yells out. MAKE SOMETHING UP.
Thank you for a great scene. I love this actress' performance...and it's 1,000 times better than all other 95% bullshit on all video,, film, etc. Delightful and perked this old retiree of many years up.
The situation was ideally primed by the subtlety and patience and contingency that led to consummation. You can thank the scriptwriters for those crucial ingredients. Hats off to them and to Holland Taylor for bringing good writing to life.
