😦 OH MY GOD. I'm actually crying. I ripped this from VHS that broke at the end of the rip. Then shortly lost the file in a hard drive crash. Been looking for this for years. Used to watch it as a kid over and over. Thank you so much!

Feel it's worth pointing out that despite his company being credited, this cartoon was *not* produced by Bill Melendez of _Peanuts_ fame. Rather, it was a production of Melendez Films, the London subsidiary of that studio, which was run by his son Steve (who's credited here as an editor). The junior Melendez also worked on _The Perishers_ , in cooperation with FilmFair, and both cartoons were also directed by Dick Horn.
@@ChristopherSobieniak // Also on the Molly and the Skywalkerz film duology, the feature musical film Dick Deadeye, the four fairy tale cartoons from 1984, and It's the Pied Piper, Charlie Brown, which is the last Peanuts special to ever have Schulz involved.
watched this soo many times as a kid and ngl still like to come back to it every now and then. something i did find out most people like me sore the vhs of this but i never knew there is actuly 20 episodes. i noticed 1 of them has been uploaded by someone but god knows where the other 9 are. would be interested to see them but i feel its very unlikely considering this was from the 70s
I used to love watching this in the 70's. Classic cartoon. It's a shame everything has gone so Political Correctness and these won't be shown anymore. It's so sad that as a society we've given in to the PC brigade.

This London studio would work on episodes of The Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show in the 80's.

I dread to think what the naughty words were. 😊😂
Thanks so much for sharing. I love Fred Bassett.
6:23 New Postman!? 😂
38:54 GET BACK TO BED! 🤣
Loved this as a child 😂😅
I am with Fred, I hate tobacco smoke.

I only like garden gnomes if they are nice, I do not like miserable ones or badly modelled/painted ones.
No offence but if Fred Bassett really hates the boarding kennels then get the neighbours to look after him.
I still wonder what the owner's names are.
42:26 - 42:34 : This needs to become a meme of some kind. Just replace 'Daffodil Bulbs' with something else.
The background music is trippy...any one know any details..?
Bassett hounds originate from Boston...why does Fred have an Anglo accent and a Stafford name
