Thanks for watching!
Yes, I love to watch you and your sister cook. I am 76 years old. I was never much of a cook or tried new things. When COVD hit, I found myself hunting new recipes and making bread. I have tried so many new things and love to cook and experiment. The old saying... you can't teach an old dog new tricks is a LIE. You are never too old to learn. Thank you.
Is her sister from Farmhouse on boone?
Yes
@lindasmith5190 - I am a 74 year old farmers wife and going strong!
My Instant Pot sits along side my 1930 kitchen wood stove. I use a bread machine when pressed for time. Always open for new tricks.
Cooking from scratch really does save a lot of money! I hated it for a long time until I prayed and the more I got in my kitchen the more I began to love it!
Laura you undoubtedly have italian ancestors considering the amount of cooking and baking you do on a daily basis!!!It's exactly what we do every single day here in Tuscany as well....but at the end of the day it's so rewarding to make good food for our family!!Bravissima❤
If you love Laura's family and cooking you may want to check out one of her sisters channel Farmhouse on Boone and her name is Lisa and wow she is awesome ❤
@@user-wm6ps8st6b Thanks but i sure do follow Lisa also...the sisters are all very talented!Have a nice weekend😘
Laura I love watching you cook …I’m an accomplished cook…grandma now but I always laugh to myself because if I were doing all that cooking that you’re doing my whole kitchen would be a mess… you’re much better at that clean as you go routine than I have ever been Thanks for your great calming Vlogs and best of luck with your newest baby to be
Cooking all of your meals from scratch is a healthy way to feed your family. My best friend had eight children. She was on a budget and made almost everything from scratch. I am post surgery and want to watch the additives in prepackaged foods. You are inspiring me to get out my Instant Pot and bread machine. Thank you for all the hard work you do for your family and in making these helpful videos. It make me smile to see the joy in your family.
~ Diane
This really touches my heart to see all the work you put into your meals. A job well done. 😊
You work so hard and love what you do. I so appreciate you!
Hi Laura, I follow a lot of people on youtube and you are one of the ones I look forward to watching. I like your style, you do a lot of showing and less talking, some people talk too much and show very little, I guess I am a visual person so I love when people show every step.. Thank you!
You cook the way I cook with what you have. Some great looking meals and great ideas thank you!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thanks so much…everything looked so delicious.
I love watching you cook from scratch, you’re right it does save a lot of money and you can make meals stretch that extra further. Your baby bump is growing fast 😌
Great video, Laura! It all looks so tasty. You amaze me how you get it all done. Many blessings.
Something about a baby bump in a pretty apron that warms my Mama heart. ❤ You are such a hard worker!
We eat a lotta chicken curry over Jasmine rice at our house. Your sweet coconut chicken sounds delicious! Our kids looove blackberries. Keep up the great work! You're really doing something special with how you're raising your family. It always bring me joy to see. 😊
Awww thank you so much!!
Love your videos! And I love the life you are raising your kids in...
Love all the meals you cook Laura it is inspiring to me. Gives me ideas what to cook too.
I made bread today in my bread maker came out really good.
You’re a rockstar, mama!! These meals looked incredible 🤤🙌🏽 thanks for the yummy dinner ideas 🥂
Always love your down to earth personality, you n your daughter should do a cooking segment together, that would be awesome ❤
Love watching you cook, you always come up with so many great recipes
I feel like I cook the same thing all the time but that’s ok we love it
God bless
I loved the variety of recipes in this video I feel like many sound so delicious and haven’t seen you make before. 💕
Great meals and I love hearing the voices of your children ❤
This is a perfect meal for a crowd.
I do the same and sometimes do one with baked potatoes and sweet potatoes with different toppings ❤
I really enjoy your videos! Bravo for sharing real life of a busy mom and homemaker!
Thank you so much!!
I get so happy on Fridays to get a video from Laura and Lisa. I'm so hungry now. I could eat every dish you cooked this week. Do you ever double dishes to have for left overs? Is there a day you wake up and just say I'm not cooking today. lol
This was great. Ty so much Laura.
You are a very tidy cook. I have a large family they are all grown up now I miss the cooking and preparing home made food. X
I also put salsa in a lot of different foods i like it on baked chicken and roast beef while baking i add it to the boiling water for rice lots of different things and yes i always add it to my meatloaf as well 🙂
All the meals you cooked looked fantastic. I had to laugh when I saw you.Put all of the vegetables in your meatloaf.Because I do that and I didn't think anyone else did. Just a little hint.Heat your milk up before you put it into your mashed potatoes. Then it will not cool them down and it tastes wonderful.
I definitely making the cabbage beef dish! Thank you🥰
That cabbage recipe looks good. Definitely will try that. hanks and have a great wk!
Just love hearing your children in the background. Wish I could pull up a chair to one of your meals. You have exactly the same bread machine that I have. Was given to me yrs ago.
That’s a lot of kids - all she does is have kids . Is that the right thing to do in our world of today full of over populated people .
@adelabarrenos2430 world is not overpopulated, Google is free.

@@RaysIrishmum ain’t it though. I love it. Thanks boo boo
I so enjoyed your video today! Here in Nebraska we have a restaurant that started in Nebraska called "Runza". The "runza sandwich" is hamburger meat and cabbage cooked inside a wonderful bread shaped like a loaf. Some of the sandwiches vary with additional ingredients such as mushrooms, cheese, Italian flavoring etc. You'll have to Google it and see for yourself. Runzas are very popular here in Nebraska. Your baby is sure growing and I can't wait for his arrival. I wish I had your love and skill of cooking. You make it look so effortless and easy!! You are inspiring!!
My cousin, in Kingman, KS, has a flower shop and she makes light meals too. She often serves Bierocks. Are they similar to Runzas?
We cook cabbage onion and ground beef and just eat it on a plate. We are in Nebraska so we call this Runza meat. We eat low carb so skip the great. Yum!
We saw a Runza last week when traveling through NE. We wondered what it was, now we know!
Loved todays vlog Laura!! Thank you!!
Thank you!
Yum!!!! Everything looked so delicious!!! Meatloaf is such a comfort food!!!!
Am very impressed with your meals and your syrup looks very simple
❤Winnipeg Manitoba Canada ❤ 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Sweet comfort feels from this video, 😊
You are looking so healthy, I love watching you prepare your meals with love ❤️. I can say I would eat most of them and that’s a huge compliment because unfortunately I’m such a picky eater 😅❣️❣️
Beautiful food and joyful chatter at your feet! Life❤❤❤❤❤ Laura, magnificent!
Your hair looks so pretty.
Your meatloaf sounds great. I am going to try it with the Salsa. Thanks so very much.
Loved the recipe with the cabbage, did you add water when cooking it first? Looks simple and delish. ❤
I have that same bread machine! ❤️ it!
You do so much creative cooking from scratch. Recipes you’ve never done before. Does your husband ever say to not make something again? I can’t imagine my husband liking everything I might come up with. Even when we went out to eat he would order the thing he knew he would like from whichever restaurant we were in. 😊
Loved your video. Not much of a wild game eater but everything looked yummy!
Thank you ❤
👋 Any chance of you making another video of “sisters’ shopping at Costco haul”? ❤️
Thanks for your recipes.
I can't find the one for the bread rolls. Can you post it?
You are amazing!
Amazing you sound like sister , you girls are amazing , love the homestead life totally blessed 😅 nice video I just subscribed,
Love your videos. Could you please link your bread mixer
Hi. What’s the type of knife u used… for onions/tomatoes etc. it’s small but sharp
Nice family so beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Great video !
What’s nice about an investment in a Kitchen Aid is , they should last several generations. It can be passed down to your daughter who loves to bake, she can pass down as well. My daughter’s friend has her grandmothers original kitchen aid, her mother used it, now to her. If you are ever ready for one, include your daughter in choosing the many colors, would be fun for the two of you❤
Great video, made me hungry. That's how I make my mash potatoes as well
Where did you get that Dutch oven!? I want it!
Just curious- do you incorporate fish or shell fish in your families diet? I don’t recall seeing it on your channel
If you heat your milk and butter with some potato water it makes your potatoes so creamy! I love to add minced garlic too!
Great idea! Thanks!!
Delicious meals , especially the chicken fajita dish , made me si hungry 😊
Enjoyed the video 😊
Glad you enjoyed!!
Do you have a video on the sourdough starter?
Lovely🌻🌻

wow large family to make meals for clean up after
❤❤❤ from Australia
I use my bread machine as a mixer too!!! 🤣
You and Lisa are wearing the same shirt and apron this week in videos.
Do you still dabble in essential oils? Or use them for cleaning or just the new products that sponsor your videos? Curious as I haven’t seen any newish videos where you talk about using your oils. I’m learning about the benefits of essential oils and saw a few of your old videos.
Yes, I still make all of my homemade skincare, haircare, laundry products etc. I make a lot of my cleaners too but when I don't want to DIY I use Blueland!
Hi from NC
When do you wash your vegetables?
Love .keep those sounds of babies on videos
Laura, I cannot find the slow roasted moose and noodles recipe. How long did you cook the moose and at what temperature? Thanks
Just added the link to my description box.
Muito bom
Anyone out there able to recommend something like blue land available in the uk?
I use a pizza cutter to cut the noodle shape
Love watching you! Just one question: doesn't tap water kill the sourdough organisms because of the chemicals? Thanks!
She probably has well water. I do and there aren't any chemicals like chlorine etc in it.
We have well water.
Never have had moose meat, u don't season the meat?
I cut my homemade noodles with a pizza cutter. Love your recipes. Thank you for sharing ❤️
You are just amazing . I want to ask your opinion because I know you are very health conscious as I’m trying to be now. Are you concerned about using foil? I’ve been afraid because of the aluminum/ dementia link . I’d love your opinion
I rarely use it!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You look so beautiful with that growing baby 😊
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰🥰
is oily your family name?
I love your recipes! But I noticed you never have a recipe card or book. Do you know them by heart?
I do a lot of making it up as I go! 🤣

using a bowl with a chip in it doesnt look nice but can hold bacteria in the chip
Why don’t you wash your rice?
Why you don’t wash your chicken before cooking it?
I never do that and it has never been an issue 🤷🏼♀️
А курицу перед приготовлением мыть не нужно?
It’s an INSTANT pot, not insta. Sorry, a pet peeve. 3:41 3:41
I've never seen a woman do this before I'm not even trying to be mean
