I've heard the full moonlight sonata a lot and honestly...I skip the 2nd movement most of the time. I just randomly clicked this video and hearing this movement alone really gave me comfort and nostalgia more than ever even though I don't listen to it much which made realize as to why I have been skipping to this piece. Very great performance as always Kassia. This piece became a favorite of mine :)

As someone who is currently learning this sonata, this looks and sounds very easy but I actually found it harder to learn (at first) than the third movement because you need incredibly specific fingerings and there are A LOT of different hand positions in this

This is underrated ! Unlike it's looking, it is quite difficult, because of the key signature and also because of the number of notes. Well played Kassia !
Matter of fact, the 2nd Movement is actually my favourite one, simply it isn´t that mainstream and you don´t hear it everywhere. It´s quiet refreshing. Franz Liszt described it as "a flower between 2 abysses". Great playing as always

Played moonlight sonata earlier today for the first time in a long time. Made me kind of sad. I have a permanently broken finger and other things wrongs with my hands now due to work, plus i’ve just been so busy. So it’s nice to hear someone else play some of my favorite pieces since I can’t anymore.
Moonlight sonata 2nd movement has a beautiful ending I find it relaxing You can watch it While you're camping And see the moonlight (of course the bad weather can cause Us not seeing the moon) Stay safe Kassia!
I don't know if you remember me but I remember posting a comment on one of your piano piece performances (I believe it was the Chopin Prelude Op.28 in B flat minor video) and I can tell you have taken my comment into consideration. Your dynamics, I apologize if you take offense in this, is much better than it was two years ago. To clear up some confusion, I *was* a piano composer and musician for a while but never really immersed myself into the true profession of piano. I never went full professional and instead took on a different career path that better suited my needs and goals. Aside from my personal background, I am very impressed. I am not as proficient at piano as I was two years ago since I have taken a break from learning and playing piano as a side job. Keep posting your performances, I would love to see you post more often 👍
