When I first saw your thumbnail, I thought you & your husband wanted you to have 15 girls & 15 boys! 😀. I had an Aunt Ethel & an Uncle Gil. I love almost all of your name choices. Your daughter was so cute popping up behind you & then disappearing lol. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for commenting! Yeah she's a funny one for sure. 🫣😁 Gil and Ethel...how cool! My kids know of Ethel from "I Love Lucy" and can't pronounce it. They say "Echo". 😂
Speaking of popularity, your name, Sophie, was very rare in America when I named you (but popular in the UK). Then it took off in popularity here in the U.S.
My husband is Patrick. He likes his name. He's named for his Aunt Patricia. I guess I'm defending that name since you said those men were tearing down the name Patrick. 😅 It's a fine name and truly fitting for my noble man. ❤
It was kind of healing for me hear you say how much you love the name Tabitha. And happy you use the full name for your daughter. That’s my name, except the even less common spelling Tabatha. I grew up abroad so people couldn’t pronounce my name and reacted weirdly to my name, and made fun of my name. So, for 30 years I’ve gone by Tabby. I want to transition to my birth name eventually (and sometime soon), but I’m just working on learning to love it. 😊
I think you have a very very very beautiful name (as you know, obviously). I just wonder who could possibly not like that name! It's so pretty!! I think Tabby is pretty too, but we always just say Tabitha. Except some of the kids couldn't quite pronounce it at some points, so they called her "TaTa" or "Tabitta".
@tacocatseven I’m stunned because Tabitha or Tabatha is such a beautiful name. It even sounds exotic to me. I’m sorry people made fun of it, but you should say it with pride. I don’t have kids but I love it so much that I named cat Tabitha.
I'm 61 and my great grandma was named Ethel, her husband was Rufus. My grandma was named Gertrude and her husband was Aubrey. Not popular names but they are normal and were popular at some point.
On my farm I just put tags in their ears with numbers! They all come running when I shake a bucket of feed to do daily head counts. My breeders that get fat get chased around to keep them moving till I can unload them at auction for younger ones with better genes. Can't be popping out defective babies!
Margaret actually means "Pearl".... That's why I named your sister Pearl 😏. I am not as much opposed to one of my granddaughters being named Margaret as I used to be. 😌
Here are either names from my family, or friends of mine. (All of the names below are voice names) Jubilant, Watchmen, Peace, Rennie, Standard, Rhett, Rafiq, Random, Obadiah, Praise, Given. I am the fourth of 14 children. Most of our names are relatively common, though I do have a twin brother who did not want his children's names in the top ten thousand.

You totally started it all obviously.

Good because I hope that somebody uses it even if I don't. It's a great name for sure.

The top ten thousand? Wow. That has got to be hard to do. That's so cool though. Very interesting names!
Helen ❤
Have you thought about Eduardo.
No I don't think so. Cool. 😊
