We never had the opportunity to use any names we chose, but I love that you are thinking of how it would sound for a man or a lady. We are children for such a short time and may go on to be “known in the gates” and I think cutesie names could sound silly for a man or woman.

I'm so glad you consider nicknames. As a teacher, I'm really know names! Kids will come up with nicknames that really stick!

I love Blythe, but I've only ever seen it as a girl's name! And I love all the AOGG and naturey names as well!
We named our youngest son “Lake” and we love it so much. He loves to stop and take pictures when he sees signs that say “Lake Street”, and a few months after he was born, his grandfather called and said he found his actual lake in the U.S. So if you put his first name and middle name together, it’s the actual name of a lake in the U.S. so we will have to go there one day for a family vacation. 😊He’s in middle school now, and his name is so unique, and lots of people love it. We do have to correct people when they think he is saying his name is “Blake”, so he says, it’s Lake, like water. I’m sure you will pick the perfect name for your sweet boy. 💛
I have a niece named Willow. Her full name is Willow Grace. It's so sweet. Our granddaughter is Eleanor and they are due with granddaughter #2 in July. I'm excited to hear what they decide for her. We didn't get to know the name with Eleanor until she was born. She also has my mother-in-law's middle name which is Marlyn. (Pronounced Marilyn) She passed away from Pancreatic Cancer about 11 years ago.
For a boy I have always loved Nathan or Nathaniel, I feel like it's very classical and elegant. My little boy is Marcus (after Marcus Aurelius, dad's favourite philosopher), which is also a classic and manly name

I'm with you on giving names to boys that are masculine and to girls that are feminine. Plus, it is so lovely to have a name that has a deep meaning and is timeless.
My favorite names for boys are Justice, Levi, Reverent, Royal, and Shepherd -- and, for girls are Ettienne, Julienne, and Leila.
Those are some unique names, I love Braxton, Jacob, Isaiah, Dakota, Malachi and Kevin for boys. I love Kally, Renae, Holly, Jill, Nicole, and Faith for girls. Can’t wait to see what you decide. Love and blessings 🥰♥️🌹

I’m not married yet and don’t have children, but if God blesses me with a son, I hope to name him Malachi. Love that name! As for a middle name, I like Joel best. Guess it will depend on what my future husband’s last name is! Other boy names I like are Noah, Gideon, Silas, and Ezekiel!
As for a girl, I have always said since I was very little that a daughter would have to be named after Karen Carpenter, so the first name would have to be Karen. I hate what modern culture has turned this name into, but to me, it is still the most beautiful girls name! As for the middle name, I would consider two of my favorite Carpenters songs: Eve and Aurora!

My daughter’s named is Emrys, we call her Emmy and I always love ‘E’ names for girls. My son’s name is Abel so I’ve been keeps my eye out for a third that’d pair well with them. I love Zion and lately Moses has been so handsome to me. Many blessings for a safe labor and joyful delivery.❤️🙏🏼
I also love "E" names I have 2 kiddos with E names , Ezekiel and Estella, although I have a long list of lovely E names I probably will never use.

I love my grandsons name Braxton William he just turned 8, and you cannot shorten it. I love names that can not be shortened. Good luck names are hard it is something they have to live with and they did not choose for themselves.

We have 4 children Rebecca Danielle, Daniel John, Heidi Alyce and Kevin Jacob. We have 9 grandchildren. The boys are Braeden, Logan and Jack. The girls are Sophie, Addison, Riley, Kenlie, Brooklyn and Madelyn. I love Wyatt, Noah, Caleb, Cody, Hunter and Jobe. There are so many nice names. We named our oldest dau. Colette Fae. The middle name was after her grandma Fannie Mae. I put the two together and got Fae. I only knew of 2 other people with that name back in 2000. So its kinda rare yet today. She got a nickname in school of Lettie Fae for a short time... but out grew that . We named our last boy Kainan its also rare. Sounds like Caanan from the Bible with a different spelling. Picking a name was always fun.

Heheh, we are both not only pregnant with a baby boy at the same time but we love the same kinds of names. Almost every boy name you mentioned have been my favorites that my husband also doesn't LOVE. This is our 4th child and has been the absolute hardest to even try to agree on a name. My current favorite is Sebastian and has been for some time. With our last son, Hugo.....I wanted the middle name Alistair and no one would let me have it (too long to explain) but now I'll send it to you for recommendation 😂. I am still dead set on Sebastian and I am just praying that I get it. 😂😂My husband's favorites are Henry and Oliver. ❤

I always said im naming my first son Joshua...then i got married at 23yrs old and struggled to conceive in 2019 i had a dream of a little boy and i called him David, God then confirmed 3times to me thats the name my son must be called - in 2020 i conceived and immediately i told people its a boy....and ofcoz it was i named him David ( theres a reason for the name) in 2022 i got pregnant again and this time God dropped the name Samuel into my spirit....ive got two sons now and they are my gifts and miracles from God

We are excited for our first grandchild to come next month. Also a boy. They are having trouble agreeing. My son would like to use his first name Benjamin as the middle name and so getting a first name to go with that has been challenging. They are also being careful that a name might sound cute for a little boy but how does it sound for a man?
Our 3 sons all received Bible names - Joseph and Joel for the other two. The middle names were Ericson for Eric’s son, Thomas and Fletcher.
Our daughter is Ellyanna and the ending is pronounced “Anna” not “Ahna” because my mom’s name is Ann. If I had another girl I wanted to name her Susannah Kate.
Some of the older names seem to be coming back. A nephew is named Wallace and we call him Wally. A niece is Rosemary called Romy.
