Abby, I've been following you since you were pregnant for Sybil. I've loved all the cooking videos you've posted especially the budget friendly instant pot & crock pot meals! I have also adopted your pantry/shelf/what I have on hand method of cooking and use it all the time; not just when money's tight and payday is still a few days away. It's really helped me with my ADHD from overbuying at the store and the buying of more things I already have (and forgot) that there's surplus of. Also, like you when you were teaching, I have a small side business I am trying to make successful as well as working a full-time job. You've inspired me with your little tricks and tips along the way to try and keep my crazy life a little less crazy, lol ❤❤❤
Just found your channel and I AM HERE FOR IT sista. Been watching you for the past couple days now while I work around the house. Thank you for sharing your life with us!
Hey Abby, Happy Wednesday. I love all of your crockpot meal ideas especially with me working a full time job on weekdays. They are quick and easy to start in the mornings before I go into work and then I can come home around 5:30/6 to a delicious meal for me and my husband. ❤
Thank you for the video and the recipes, I am ready for some cooler weather over here 👍 I wanted to give a tip, I apologize, I know you didnt ask, but I was going to suggest if you bought a pack of chicken breast on the bone, boil and simmer for about an hour (this is crockpot and instapot friendly as well, just adjust time) with your seasonings of choice, then you can make a good amount of chicken broth that does great stored in your fridge in mason jars, it last a good bit :) we do this once a week and use the chicken for meals throughout the week or mostly, for lunches for sandwiches. That cooked chicken has helped save meal time over many years now, the sodium is reduced in the broth as well, and honestly, it saves me on avg probably around 6 to 15 bucks a month in broth costs for recipes. We do raise our own chickens though so I understand that helps having that packaged to go on hand. If a person has to buy the chicken at full price then you probably arent saving the money but you still gain meat for other meals. It also works great just to make a quick bit of a chicken soup of sorts right there on prepare day, the dishes are out and used lol. Anyways, sorry for the long winded comment. I also wanted to say, and I really try hard to not comment on folks weight or health but since you kind of record and share your journey, I wanted to point out that your work is really started to show. We are built similarly but it's helped me to see you keeping on with actual dedicated exercise. Ive stopped that and rely on farmwork and chores to keep me in somewhat check but it definitely helps seeing someone still putting efforts in and the results coming through. God bless to you and your family, I apologize for so many words but have a good day.
I love these! I was sold on the Lasagna Soup but the Zuppa Toscana looks so good and I’ve never had that! And, I live in southern Louisiana and we are still in our camper (since Ida working on our home) and it gets sooo hot sooo fast in there…crock pot meals are THE only way to cook in the summer! Lol. You always have some really great recipes, thanks!!❤😊
Hi Abby, I recently made a broccoli cheese sauce and couldn't bear to spend the money on Velveeta. I used a can of Nacho cheese sauce and it turned out perfect for a whole lot less.
Zuppa Toscana is my absolute favorite soup! It is definitely better with Italian sausage. I hope you try it again using the sausage. Red pepper flakes make it so good too. I love dipping Italian bread into the broth. This is the first video of yours I've watched and I and a subscriber now.
How much Italian seasoning do you recommend in the lasagna soup ? Do you use the whole box of noodles in it? Size box? Thank you I’m not a very good cook . Please help. Thank you 😊
Hi Abbey, the baby is getting so big already.. He’s precious as are your other children, love your recipes.. Great for fall and winter time.. Did the kids liked the pesto dish?
So I tried lasagna soup for the first time a few weeks ago. I honestly thought it was just overly hyped and wasn't going to be anything spectacular...but since I've made it I'm now OBSESSED with this soup. It's my new fav just based on how easy and absolutely delicious it is. I'm Italian so I LOVE a good lasagna and I just wasn't expecting too much but like I said ..I'm obsessed. I made a big batch of this in my instant pot. I cooked up my sausage on the stove but added that and everything else to my instant pot including the noods.... I put it on for four mins and let it naturally release for 4 mins and it was perfect. I made the ricotta mixture with a ton of mottz and asiago cheese and it was so freaking delicious. I froze a bunch of individual servings...then my fridge died when we went out of town for a few days and I had to throw it all away lol. I have to make it again. Luckily it's so frickin simple! Love it. Might try it in the crock pot cause yours looked great. it'll make the whole house smell amazing. Also need to try that broccoli soup it looked so yummy and even though I love broccoli soup I don't make it very often. Not sure how it will freeze and I'm really the only soup eater in my house but it looked so good I need to try it

YAY🎉🎉🎉
My kids like pesto but not if you put the whole jar in. 😅 It’s tasty but can be overwhelming if you use too much. Love all these recipes!
Yummy eats
How many ounces, or bags of frozen broccoli would you use?
Hi Abbey, the baby is getting so big already.. He’s precious as are your other children, love your recipes.. Great for fall and winter time.. Did the kids liked the pesto dish?
These are fantastic, Abby, thank you! I make a crockpot meal pretty much every day because of you.
Is there anything you can’t do with a baby on your hip? I’m making lasagna soup this week.
1st recipe you should save some broth to deglaze the pan after browning the meat.
Hi! Looks yummy! Could you maybe pause longer, or use still pictures when showing the finished meal? The second one I barely got to see.
Abby i ❤love intro❤
Yummmmm😊
❤❤❤❤
Did the kids end up liking the pesto chicken?
you have to de glaze that pot you cooked the meat in and add it back to the crock pot!
