Hi Chris, After arriving on site following wet weather I leave it on the caravan and wipe it down with a microfibre cloth. I usually unzip it to see out the window. When it's dry I take it off and put it away. I does dry very quickly. If our journey home is wet I wipe it down and usually hang it on the washing line. I've never washed it as it's never needed more than a wipe to keep it clean. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Rob
I went to the website to seriously consider ordering one, but they don't do one for our caravan, you can only get the generic one that covers up the lights and locker etc. Thanks for the video.
Hi Vince, Sorry to hear they don't do one for your caravan. I had a look at the universal cover and it looks like our old one. I'm surprised if it covers the marker lights though as that would be illegal. You could phone them. Alternatively you could try a different manufacturer. Thanks for watching. Rob
Hi Rob, you appear to have used a towing jacket for some time. So I assume you would recommend them. What should I be looking for in a towing jacket? And what to avoid? Many thanks Alan
Definitely recommend one Alan. Only had Pro-tec covers. I love all the improvements on our new cover such as grab handle access and central dual zip giving access to front locker and windows. These are the features I would look for. Specialised Covers offer four types of towing cover. The Tow Pro + Looks to have a vertical central zip like ours and the Tow Pro Elite top spec is thicker with elastic sides. Hope this helps. I would be interested to know which one you go for and your thoughts. Many Thanks. Rob
@@robswiseways5697 thanks Rob, much appreciated ill let you know how I get on. Thus far Proteck looks good quality and have a quote from them so they're favourites just now.
I think they are well worth the money. I ha r a couple of chips on mine from use without previously and not sure how to repair them. However prevention is always better than cure
I agree towing jackets are worth the money Justin. I bought a touch up paint which matches the paint shade of the caravan from Bailey parts website not long after purchasing the caravan. Luckily never had to use it. Thanks for watching. Rob
That’s a great cover Rob.
Many thanks for showing how easy it is to put on. 👍
Hi Colin, A lot easier to fit than the old cover. There's a choice of four colours too. Thanks for watching. Regards Rob
Hi Rob, After viewing your video seeing how simple it was to put on, I ordered one to fit my caravan thanks for the videos
That's great Harry. We can't wait for the green light so we can fit ours again and off we go. Hope to get away later in 2020. Regards Rob
Great video for two reasons a) I have to do these things myself (wifes disabled) and b) you showed the underside connections. Well done.
Thanks for the compliment Allan. Glad my video helped. Regards Rob
Hi, thanks again - what are they like to keep clean and how do you wash them?

Thanks Rob think I’ll be going for this one instead of a specialise 👍🏻
It's a very good towing jacket with just one strap/buckle under the A-frame. We've not had any problems with ours. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Rob
