    Great idea with the facebook selling page Mark. It’s just shocking how many scammers there are on Facebook these days.

      If you only use the caravan once or twice a year I would agree, but get the use and you can't beat value for money.

    Mark, re the atc attachment to caravan braking system on quite long journeys on narrow twisting bumpy lanes, at the end of the journey when unhitched I have found that the motor mover will not operate could the uneven roads have caused the brakes to stay engaged

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Месяц назад +1

      It shouldn't do, is it that the wheels are locked up? The atc will activate more on bumpy roads but if it locked on it wouldn't move with the car either.

    Mate, we'll be over to Great Haywood towards end August. We passed your new site nr Penkridge on way through last month. We are going to try to pop in and see what you've got available. Hopefully see you soon. Be good to finally meet you. At the very least, I'll have a hitch cover off you. Take care. Grant.

    Interesting! We suffered all sorts of noises on our tow hitch including some quite alarming knocking noises. In the end it was all sorted by removing and cleaning the main two pressure pads with brake cleaner fluid and spraying more of the same onto the actual tow ball. After that it was silence all the way. Amazing how such an apparently serious problem can be so easily fixed.

    Great video. Just one small thing. Never use Vaseline on an O-ring, it will deteriorate the rubber.

    Watch you all the time enjoy content. My daughter who lives up north went to buy a Bailey from a dealer it weighs 1400 kg. She has a new transit people carrier and he refused to sell her it saying it’s not suitable 🤷‍♂️

      Not sure why they would say, maybe a check with ford to check on the towing weights.

      Possibly the hitch damper, or brake setup, it's worth having an engineer have a look. 👍

    13.20 Wouldn’t it be safer to have the microwave above the sink
    Surly it’s dangerous to use the microwave with the hobs working

      I think it's a small bit that keeps it held up. I will have to see if I can sort a video or get the info.

    Great video again Mark. You're bang right about those "O" rings being a faf, one of mine split so I had to replace it. It took ages. I found the best way was to spray with WD40 and then push it in with a pen top with a similar diameter and ai the same time holding the friction pad almost in place to stop the ring going in too far. Cheers.
