Some of the most gorgeous footage of the Colorado mountains I've ever seen, and part of the reason i love your channel. Epitomizes the joy and awe of running through the mountains. Thank you!
wow that's just amazing guys!!!! I'm a big fun of your youtube and got lots of tips to improve my running form thanks to you guys, you're a real inspiration. Thanks a million
Nicely done! This inspires me to make an autumn trip out to the Maroon Bells 4 Pass loop from the flatlands of south central Kansas for one of my long runs. Keep up the wonderful work and all the best in your next race.
Sage, that's so awesome. Saw it on Strava and now this video!! Having such background is so awesome. For all the reasons, please consider yourself a very, very lucky guy !!! Me so jealous... :D
You guys are such inspirations! I actually attempted to run the Four Pass Loop on the 10th but got high altitude cerebral edema and had to be helilifted out to a hospital in Lakewood. Would've been awesome to see you out on the trails (though that would not have been fun for you!). I hope to make it back out for the whole loop sometime soon--being discharged from the hospital today!
Beautiful scenery! Please add more videos like this! This is making me go out and run. From the technical aspect-it is much better than watching the tutorials on how to run. Watching Sandi gracefully run through the mountains was such a delight. Also, does she ever touch ground with her heels? 😉 On slo-mo it doesn't look like she does...
Oh, heyyyyy. Sandi! These videos make me miss living out west. Delaware is a lot flatter and does not have as great of scenery as Montana and Washington.
Best motivator ever. You're literally running (auto) doped & happy, feeling&seeing most beautiful things (mentioned above and the breathtaking vistas) only positives, all the way :) Best medicine for depression, problems and general shitty stuff ! :D
I backpacked this loop in Sept 2018 (3 days, 2 nights) and I'm planning to run it this Sept 2019 with a few ultra-capable/experienced friends. I can't wait to run it! A year ago, when I backpacked the trail, I thought it was crazy when I saw a few runners running the entire 28ish miles! At the time, I was running 2-4 miles 3 days a week. A year later, I've been able to build a strong enough running base where I know that I could complete this run (currently running 40-50 miles a week/5-6 days per week). I feel so blessed to be able to run, injury free, and I can't wait to return to Maroon Bells 4 Pass Loop!!!
Really inspiring Sage and Sandi!!, I was wondering if your next talk could be on race day nutrition? Particularly for less experienced runners? Thanks!
I´d loved the music choice!! it transmits very well the peace and freedom that you feel out there when running on your own. Does anyone know the artist? its always inspiring to see you enjoying your runs!
I'd be interested to know what you carried in the pack for this run. Rain jacket? Gloves? How much food and water? Obviously, not enough water, or need to bring a filter.
Wow this is beautiful! Do you miss running road races? I like trail running but I'm focusing on training for my 1st marathon which is road...plus there's no cool views like this lol
Thanks for the videos and the good advice. Is there a place to catch your race videos? Also is it possible for a 3 50 marathoner to run a 3 hour marathon with adequate training ?
I have to say that I really like the flowers. Thanks for including those. It is so scenic, especially the flowers in their natural habitat.
GORGEOUS loop!!
Sage is living the dream!
The SageRunning Grin - you should get it patented
I keep watching it over and over and I must say this video is one of your best. So much sun!! ☀☀

Wow. Just wow.
...some of the most beautiful land in this country. Wish I was in Colorado longer than the brief time I visited :/

Oh, did you run clockwise or counterclockwise?
I'm looking for a 2 or 3 day hike. I will have to do some research on this. Is camping easy/ readily available?

Did you just have your camera attached to a selfie stick for this video? What do you use to edit your videos as well?
Thanks for the videos and the good advice. Is there a place to catch your race videos? Also is it possible for a 3 50 marathoner to run a 3 hour marathon with adequate training ?
Sweet
Mere mortals at the end...
Hey Sage, super curious.. what kind of video camera are you using there? *(I want to do the same on the TMB next July)
Wow this is insane. This took me 3 days.
What water filtration system was Sandi using in the video?
what time of the year did you do this? I'm looking to do a 3 day 2 night hike.
