I noticed lately a lot of negative comments about this woman. In my opinion, I think she's doing the best she can. There are loads of children who aren't as lucky to have parents like her bunch. Everyone has their own method of raising their children and no one is perfect. It's one thing to suggest something and there's belittling someone. For one thing, her kids love her and her husband. You can tell that family is full of love and support.

Try making the cheese sauce in the microwave, so much easier. Just cook it in about 2 min intervals and then stir and cook for another two minutes until it’s thick. I’m watching from Australia
I use to fix ham with honey and brown sugar, pineapple rings and cloves on top and sides..they tasted so good and juicy. Often times i would get a spiral ham as well. Tfs
This is what my French Canadian grandmother used to do for her roux sauce. She even added it to her mashed potatoes since potatoes are notorious for being tasteless and boring. She used to tell us that a tasteless and boring potato means that it wasn't cooked right, even with butter and salt added to the pot, she'd always sprinkle a bit of nutmeg in just to bring them to life a little bit.

Instead of water try pineapple juice. I started doing my ham in crockpot and tasted so much better
I will be putting our ham in the crock pot as well
Josh is allergic to pineapple 😔
We use dr. Pepper
Brown sugar makes it tastes awesome in the crockpot.
You can also use apple juice instead of pineapple. Brown sugar/ honey also does the trick.
Just a suggestion when cooking your vegetables to give them better flavor at salt and pepper and a little butter.
The ham juice is the best to cook it in. I cringed when you just tossed it out. 😮

About 5 hours but it was done at 4 hours, I just needed to get the sides made.
