clear and concise video love to see it, just as a bit of an adage however, even if the tool is able to run, say with a grinder, die grinder, orb sander, drill etc, it's worth taking extra precautions to get the calcs right, if the air pressure isn't high enough the tool may still run but unable to reach the recommended rpm's and in the cases of die grinders and disk grinders this can be extremely hazardous/dangerous and/or lead to disappointment in performance.

Thank you. That’s a very good point, I should have explained that a bit better in the video! I’m going to pin this comment so people can see it.

Wonderful and informative! I think I'll go more into air tools after this video. I'll probably still use batteries for some tools, if I use them outside of the garage, but alot of my tools will never leave the garage. Thx!

They’re definitely worth it for less portable tools. Drills etc make sense to be battery but anything I mainly use in the workshop I’ll stick to air for now.

If you add oil every time you use the tool, where does it go? Sprayed as an oil mist with the exhaust air and slowly covers you and everything?

The oil coats the moving parts inside the tool. You only need a drop or two for most tools. To be honest I’m not sure where the oil goes eventually as I don’t think any air tool gets hot enough to burn oil but I’ve also never noticed any oil either leaking out or in with the exhausted air. I would imagine the inside of the tools are coated with oil and a tiny amount comes out with the air over time.
