Absolute game changer we had an Eberspacher fitted under the floor of our VW T5 just over a year ago and it allows year round use no matter what the weather throws at us, they are a very efficient way of heating a van diesel use is minimal and battery drain is negligible too we leave ours on all night on 16*c and it cuts in and as required keeping us nice and cosy.
Thumbs up to your Dad for his help 👍🏻

Toasty floor sounds heavenly 😍 it's so nice to come back from a hike and pop the heater on while I get changed

Can i help... please change out your green fuel pipe for the white nylon one, the green goes brittle after a short time and may leak. Just trying to help you and save you from misshapps

Hey thanks for the advice. Have already done so after chatting with the person who helped with some welding I had done in the summer. Appreciate you looking out for me though! 😊

Oh awesome! I have decided that I need to install a diesel heater too. (German winters, grrrrrr) My partner is kind of intimidated but as per usual, I am hopelessly (and perhaps unjustifiably 😂 ) optimistic that we can do it. What do you reckon? Rocket Science or can we do it as semi-useless beginners? One quick thing: I recall hearing that carbon monoxide detectors should be mounted close to the ground because it sinks. So for Sadies and your sakes, consider looking into it an perhaps moving it a bit.

If I can do it, you can do it! This one did come with instructions of a sort and I watch some vids before I did it. Good shout on the co2 I'll look at getting that mounted lower down. Appreciate you looking out for me!

I’m number 223 which is my favorite number for what’re reason. I’m linking of packing up and hitting the road I live in the Northern part of the US and it’s already in the 30s so it gets cold in the winter I wouldn’t survive so I’m looking how I can heat my tiny home on wheels. I don’t think right now this is the answer for me but once I get a bigger tiny home maybe. Thanks for the video. Happy travels

I hope you find something that works for you! Before fitting the heater I used a plug in fan heater that used an inverter for power. It wasn't amazing but it did allow me to warm my clothes up a bit before I put them on! It's definitely a lot colder where you are so stay safe in it!

Hello good day can I ask what did u used to insulate the exhaust pipe n what is the white paint around the exhaust pipe is it possible to see under the van how you set up the muffler thank you for this video give me good idea tro install it my problem is how to protect from the exhaust pipe cuz the pipe will be super hot again thank you

I used a heat proof thermal piping (kind of like a sock) around the exhaust and I layered it up. The "white paint" is a thermal filler not paint at all to keep the pipe in place and fill the gaps around it.
