Poor country and people 😢
Nope.
They had tye chance for freedom and they chose the Taliban
They go to other countries just to export what they fled in afghanistan
I bet the Taliban are doing everything they can to help these people
Only joking
There is no hope for Afghanistan
Afghanistan isn't my favorite place in the world. But I'm still saddened by their tragedy. May they find a way through their loss.💞
Regardless of the past, of America's misplaced aggression toward the region, I can hear the pain in their voices. The utter loss of place and purpose and the realization that they are just existing based on the thinnest of charity that others are able to give. They really can't rebuild because to rebuild a life means to have that family to rebuild it with. For many of them, that is the worst part of it. They are sole survivors and just relics of their own past now; mere shadows and memories of their own existence and purpose. What purpose is there now?
Can you survive such a catastrophe in your own life? Think of the passing of a single parent or maybe the loss of a friend or a break up of marriage. That was raw too. But this is on a much worse scale.
They can just sit there now, like castaways on a beach after a shipwreck and think back to the short time before the storm threw their ship upon the reef and nearly all lives were lost at sea. So, have pity on the people of the world.
This is just the beginning. I fear we have started something that we can't stop and it's slowly gaining momentum. I hope I am wrong.
guess they should ask their cavemen government to help them.
Geography, drought, earthquake, freezing spell are to be monitored, planned. Diversional, relocation or other general means to prevent disasters, climate change 🙏
Not to put their suffering in light terms, but fatalistically, is this simply God's Will?
Don't build in a flood plain.
This is just too sad. I just wonder if China their new Benefactor will come to the people's rescue? Maybe we will see the true nature of friendship with China?
Go to the Taliban homes and live there.
They have looked after themselves since the dawn of time. They will do just fine without us.
