Collins Vincent has not provided any sort of evidence in support of his claims of this film being propaganda. He’s repeatedly expressed refusal to do so even though he’s falsely claimed he’s provided things he hasn’t. He resorts to childish ad hominems and he hypocritically accuses others of copying and pasting when he’s demonstrated himself to be the king of repeating himself. There’s no one more cowardly than Vincent.

A friend insisted I watch Breakthrough. I was told that it was a true example of God's love for people. So, the boy falls through the ice on a lake and after an extended period in the icy water, could not be revived in the hospital and is thought to be forever dead. I wondered, how could God be so cruel as to allow the kid to break through ice and fall into frigid water? In the movie the boy's pulse starts though he is in a coma. I'm still upset with God after all, none of pain and suffering would have happened if God cared as much about the boy as any halfway compassionate person.
Even in the darkest times we all go through. There is a light. God would never let anyone in his world suffer. But bad things do happen in in this world. The only thing that we can do is Hope And Pray. God doesn't hate people to make them suffer. He has a plan for us all. People that go through bad things in their life can use the pain to inspire others. God loves and cares about everyone even if we turn our back on him.

It doesn’t matter what you or anyone claims this movie is about. Anyone with eyes and common sense can see this film for what it truly is. It’s religious propaganda designed to reinforce the beliefs of Christians and indoctrinate the nonreligious masses. I mean, it’s so obvious that parademic is going to go through some kind of conversion story arc because the film demands that he does to further its agenda.

Collins, I’ve been going back and forth with you for months now since I first came to this video. I’ve gone into detail about how I came to come across this trailer and why, and I stumbled upon some of your comments that are laid out in this comments section. Your intentions is that you say this movie is a propaganda piece pushing across unfounded beliefs. You’ve replied to the majority of all commenters here who’ve expressed some level of positive reaction or emotion to this film, anyone you can find. Anyone who takes something positive away from this movie is a brainwashed sheep in your eyes, despite many of those people not even being Christian. I’ve asked you many times how this movie can be described as propaganda, and I talked about how other Christian movies, like God’s Not Dead, are actually propanda pieces in my eyes. I used that as a comparison as well as to demonstrate the fact that I have no reason, desire or obligation to deny this movie for being propaganda if that’s what it in fact is, and you ignored me when I pointed that out. I have no problem admitting a Christian film to be an example of propaganda if that’s what it demonstrates to be, and my example of God’s Not Dead proves this. I have no money, or investment in this movie nor can I name any of the actors or actresses within it. I’m simply responding to the claims you’ve brought forth. You’ve made so many claims about this movie, my Christian beliefs, and me as a person that have been so unfounded and untrue. I’ve responded to your failed attempts at justifying this movie as propaganda, and I’ve offered you evidence, history and validity that also back up God and Christianity. But you just keep ignoring it all and insisting otherwise. I’ve never encountered anyone as arrogant, and hateful as you. The ancient manuscripts date all the way back to 250 BC and verify with the modern Christian Bible. The oldest of these manuscripts are the Dead Sea Scrolls. Muslims and some skeptics claim that the Bible has been changed or corrupted but secular historians have verified that the contents of each specific book have been preserved. Since the Christian Bible has not been changed and it has also told the future time and time again, we have evidence that the Bible is inspired by God. We find testimonies of atheists, Buddhists, Muslims, etc. claiming they died, went to hell and came back because Jesus saved them. There are countless testimonies just on RUclips alone and the people that ventured into the afterlife describe the Christian concept of life after death. If NDE’s were open to interpretation, we would find testimonies of people saying that when they died, they met Allah or Muhammad or Buddha. But since we only find testimonies of people saying they were saved from hell by Jesus, we have additional evidence that Christianity is the truth. When Muslims die, they don’t hallucinate about Allah and when Hindus die, they don’t hallucinate about reincarnation. What we see is the truth of Christianity being preached by those that died and came back. Besides the countless testimonies we have of near death experiences, we also have scientific research and evidence that verifies the existence of the afterlife. It is a historical fact that Jesus did exist, with 99-100% of scholars and historians relevant to the field acknowledging it. We have greater evidence for Jesus for Jesus' existence than we have for Alexander the Great, Tiberius Caesar and many other ancient historical figures. Altogether we have at least 42 authors that concern Jesus within the first 150 years of His life - which is absolutely incredible for ancient historical standards. We also have no early texts whatsoever that claim He didn't exist (If memory serves, such claims only surfaced in the 17th century...). Furthermore, I could run through the ontological, teleological arguments or the arguments from morality, history, the life death Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the eyewitness testimony to that, the myriads of intellectual genius's from Galileo, Copernicus, Kepler, Newton, Faraday, Pascal, Dostoevsky, Kierkegaard , Aquinas, Augustine etc. etc, who all believed in God and took the question to places the average man will never get to much less even understand in this life and still found it better to believe than not. But I would only mention those to show an intellectual defense of the Christian faith that I find satisfies the questions, but I don't think I or anyone else in this life will ever have perfect concrete knowing in this life, that's why the concept of faith rings true to me. God is a properly basic belief like the belief in the external world around us. God is self evident, like all men created equal is self evident. And at the end of the day the Christian story is the greatest story ever told. There is no better explanation for the big questions in life. There is great reason to believe in God, the father of Christ, and the word of the Bible as it has continuously proven through history to be an historical, nonfictional text. The problem that atheists are faced with isn’t even close to a lack of evidence or history when acknowledging or researching Christianity. The problem that you and many other atheists have is the strong and stubborn refusal and opposition to believe in something greater than yourselves, and that great desire not to believe very often overpowers the atheist’s openness and willingness to take in, acknowledge with an open mind and heart, the very existent evidence and validity that is very much stacked against them and their often arrogant position and condescension towards Christians and religion as a whole.

The movie's just kind of ruined. This would've been a tear-jerking movie that I would watch in theatre, if it hadn't been centered around religions. I want to see a child fighting death, and his family supporting him all the way, making me emotional... but then they decided to "just pray to God". Sort of ruins the whole inspirational thing.

Beautiful movie! Medics & skeptics may say it wasn’t a miracle but for the young man & his parents it is! Miracles are subjective but I’m convinced it was God! Praise God for this movie.
As a skeptic I completely respect your belief :) I believe it had nothing to do with a God, your God or anyone else's God, just a combination of science and pure luck. Either way, it doesn't matter. In the end, a family still has their son. Nothing is more important than that, least of all everyone else in this comment section arguing over the cause of the recovery.

ryang58 I’ve been an ER/trauma nurse for 24 yrs and I have seen stuff that there is simply no explanation for. One of the first cases that I had was a 2 1/2 yr old little boy who was born with hydrocephalus (water on the brain). He came into our ER late one night (2:30am) and was clinically dead. No heart beat, no breath sounds, pupils fixed and dilated. We were getting ready to call code on him as we had been working on him for 35 minutes. His mom came into the ER bay and said to us “I am not letting him die on some cold gurney, give me my son”. So we unhooked all of the IV’s and everything that was on him except the EKG leads. She pick that little boy up and started caressing him and holding him and talking to him telling him she was there and that she loved loved him. What happened next not one of us can explain that was there, not I, not the doctors, not fellow nurses, not the paramedics that brought him in. The EKG monitor started started to beat, At first we thought it was a malfunction of the lead due to mom holding him, however when we checked the lead he grabbed the hand of one of the other nurses and then started to grab onto his mom. I’ve never seen an ER bay so quiet only to be broken by the sounds of soft sniffles from all of us (doctors, nurses and paramedics) because we did witness a miracle. That little boy was dead. There shouldn’t have been anything that his mom did to change that clinical finding yet he was this child now making sounds and grabbing onto the wires and his mom. To this day not anyone one of us that was there can explain it other than to say that something happened that was out of our control. I’m not overly religious but something happened in that bay that morning. The one thing it wasn’t was luck. That little boy had beaten those odds just by surviving birth and that was a fact.

But the situation you are describing has happened many times, there have been cases where mother and/or fathers have held their 'medically deceased' child for over an hour and had it return normal brain and heart function. It is extremely uncommon, but not a miracle.
There are plenty of explanations for how this happens but yes admittedly at the end of the day we don't know how it happens.
Absence of knowledge however is not an excuse for the supernatural. Just because we don't know something does not mean we can fill in the gaps with belief and speculation, unless there is intent to study it.
I too could tell you of my own birth. I (am a twin) and was in a twin to twin transfusion (being nurse you may know what that is)
My brother was born with most my blood and 7 holes in his heart, i was born as white as a sheet of paper. We spend 6-8 weeks in the ICU and in the first week both my brother and I died multiple times. I was declared medically dead 12 times and brought back 13 (obviously) and my brother died 10 times being brought back 11 times.
Many described it as a 'miracle'. Having attended catholic private schools i wont tell you what the RE teachers had to say about it. 'God has a purpose for you blah blah'
The fact is science saved me and my brother. If i had been born 10 or more years ago i would be dead.
In both our cases their is cleary alot happening that we don't know. But again, this does not justify asserting our absence of knowledge as proof of a religious deity intervening.

Was this mother's prayer more powerful than the millions of people who pray earnestly for their loved ones to be healed from all types of diseases and still have to watch them suffer and die and then have to endure the excruciating pain of their loss? I'm sorry, I see this trailer and only that comes to mind.
REASONS:
1)Honestly, I do not know why God regenerated her, but not other people because our knowledge is limited. This unmerited kindness from the Lord should not motivate her to feel guilty, though it should humble her as she ponder His most profound mercy.
2)God blesses people because He chooses to bless people. It is not about an individual’s ability to merit God’s good favor, but always about His nonmanipulative mercy to undeserving people. we all deserve pain, hatred and hell in the first place, so i dont see why we have to blame god ?
