Hey Alex! If you sent an email over the past week or so, the weather has kept us out of our offices. Our responses to emails may be a bit delayed, but feel free to give us a call again, or await a response via email!

Great info. I live inTrinidad, i bought an xs battery and within a year the top of the battery started to get hairline cracks. If I leave my car off for 7days, the battery would read 10.5v. My vehcle was checked for any parasitic drain, no problem was found. I took the battery to the dealer, he charged the battery and said there's no problem with it. But again after a couple of days without using the vehicle, it went dead again. I tried the battery in 2 different vehicles other than mines and the problem exists in every vehicle. The battery clearly have a problem and still under warranty, but the dealer refuses to believe anything is wrong with it. It is super frustrating, because i switched from northstar (which was verv reliable) to xs power.

I have the xs xp2000 been swollen for about a year (not as bad as the one in the video) should i be concerned? I live in Texas temperatures get well past 100 degrees here and i have it under the hood.

Our XP-Series batteries are not the best suited for under hood use in higher temperatures. Our D-Series batteries are much more suited for higher temperatures, especially under the hood in higher temperature climates.

Great info but i have a small lithium jumppack for jump starting a vehicle and it was 100% charged then I connected it to my 03 gmc Sierra 4.8L LS V8 and I gave it a few minutes before hitting the key as the battery had been dead-dead for months and is useless... The engine cranked over a few times then seemed like the jpack went dead very quickly so I jumped out to take a look and it was a bit warm not hot and swollen ever since using the charger it came with it says it gets to 100% charge and stops but it has no power like it wouldn't even start a weedwhacker or a damn chainsaw it is so weak now? Can you please explain to me what happened or what i can do to avoid this when i replace the jumppack?

Remember folks these batts and others are NOT MADE IN THE USA and the fact they travel by ships from overseas not alone the temperature change is a factor as well. There is reports of general people not into car audio like us having the same issue at Autozone or O Rallys/other auto shops aka bad battery's that swell up like this
