In one hour here, Mark shares A lifetime of study, practice and devotion. Just amazing depth and wealth of information. Beyond the books, and superficialities of the modern day world of Yoga, here is a true Jnani at his best. Maybe this is the way of a new form of the Oral tradition. Thank you Mark. What an honor to have met you in person. May you be blessed with good health, and many more years of sharing your Music and Wisdom. Pranams from Pa. USA.
Interesting. I was thinking of kashmir shaivism not having a lot of authentic gurus to teach and much of the information out there is incomplete so I was considering giving up my pursuit of this tradition and studying Taoism instead not necessarily give up my sadhana as my guru has been fantastic and what he has taught me is great, mind you he is non-sectarian and initiated in ganapatya and Sri vidya lineages. However, it appears I am the 108th viewer of this video so perhaps Lord Shiva is saying dont give up yet.
Daoism is compatible with Kashmir Shaivism. Universal Shaiva fellowship website is the best place to start learning Kashmir Shaivism. I recommend starting with secret supreme then reading Shiva Sutras. When you buy books from them they come with free audio download. You can hear Swami Lakshmanjoo in his own words. He was the last living guru from Abinavaguptas lineage. He is the Shaivism guru of Mark Dyczkowski. Don't be discouraged from learning Daoism also. When you get into the practical side of Daoism. The cultivation of chi will help you achieve some of the higher states of bliss spoken of in Shaivism.
@@rohanofelvenpower5566 no it didn’t. As far as I know there was less religious freedom but shaiva gurus still taught and people worshipped but less freely. Freedom varied depending on rulers
Interestingly the Shaivaism was the first religion that was developed in Today 's South India... There are tons of tons of scriptures that you can find in Tamil for Shaivaism...
Less of guru shiv and his followers history and much of mythology with added imagination... total rubbish... history hides in myth and is seeked by rational reasoning but his head is much focused on mythology and reciting it... Less on history.
Disappointing! I wish Mark focused on the shiva advaita teaching which is the truth and not on mythology which is some poets imagination and not truth.

Anyone out here 2024?
Yo just attending to Rudra
Go towards Siddhanta
The creator is Lord Brahma and not Lord Shiva. The trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva have their work clearly demarcated.
At 48 mins- so disturbing
