    I’m happy to see that you got it straightened out. Sometimes it’s that type of thing that makes me think my head may just blow up 😂😂😂

      💯🤯💯 I'm totally with ya on that one!! Only had the guitar not even a month and I did that!!?😳🫣 That Bug spray is horrible for Nitro!! Cologne(axe) or even sunscreen will do it as well!

    The finish looks stunning, especially in the sunlight! Does this method also work for satin polyurethane?

    • @THESESSIONROOM
      @THESESSIONROOM  3 месяца назад

      @@israelorozco1008 Anything satin I'm sure it would work! Just make sure you always test in an inconspicuous spot before you go ahead with the rest of the guitar! Thanks so much for watching it means the world to me... It's my payoff for all the hard work and time it takes to make one of these videos!

    Same thing happened to me on my D35. Used Virtuoso polish and it fixed it! It’s held up fine the past few years. Can’t even tell.

    I had no idea bud spray did that to a finish! I mean we don’t get many bugs here, but my friend in NC has to use a ton of bug spray in the summer. I’ll point him to this video for advice - nice one, Sir.

      Ya it definitely wouldn't hurt to give him a warning. I still cannot believe I didn't realize it in the first place! So stupid!🫣😳🥴 Thank you so much mate!🍻

    I watched this and tried it on my non custom shop greeny. It worked great! I topped it off with virtuoso polish instead of the pump polish but it looks amazing now!! Thanks for the video! 🎸

    Very nice. I got a satin finish Tribute Les Paul in tobacco burst. I don't really mind the satin finish, but it would look great with a shine on it..

    Can you also tell me what the model is in that 335. I didn’t know there was a satin finish with block inlays in 2022. It’s beautiful.

    • @THESESSIONROOM
      @THESESSIONROOM  Год назад

      Actually the 335 is a 2016 model and the Les Paul is the 2022 model!🤟 Satin finish with block inlays and it's more vintage color spec too.... Nice fat neck on it! Thank you so much Joe for the awesome comment...do let me know if you do a buff on one of yours as I'd love to see it!! bluesbubby@gmail.com 🤟

      Thank you for the comment! It's actually gotten better due to regular wipe downs just to get dirt and sweat and what not off of it after jams.

    Bug spray is some gnarly stuff.. Some folks even use it on cloudy headlights when restoring them, as it melts the plastic a bit... If that tells you anything, so yeah it definitely wouldn't fare well for a nitro guitar finish. 😬
    At least you were able to fix it. 👍

    • @THESESSIONROOM
      @THESESSIONROOM  Год назад

      Indeed it is! I don't know why I was so stupid to not realize it I just wanted to jam... And weird you said that about the headlights because I learned the same thing while researching for this video! So I went out and tried it and it works great! 🤣

    Anyone tried this on a Gibson Faded SG? I've heard the buffing compound can get in the grain of the mahogany because on the Faded SG's they didn't seal the grain. Was wanting to do it to mine, but I'm worried there will be leftover buffing compound in the wood grain. I've hard this works better on maple tops because the grain is tighter compared to a mahogany body guitar.
