- Hi everyone!
It’s end of the year and what can be better then to look back at some of the projects and achievements in our Italian renovation. We have finished the bathroom yooohooo! Champagne to everyone! Oh how happy and excited I am!
While editing I couldn’t believe all the journey we have made…oh dear… But isn’t that the best lesson?! Everything is possible as soon as you go to your dream and keep keep working!

Good going on your romantic bathroom. Such a pleasure to see that young people are still interested in rescuing old architecture and giving it life again. I am now 74 and restored my first period home when I was 19. Thirteen period houses later, I'm still loving it. Bless you both!
👏👏👏👏Awesome! I've only rehabbed four on my own - you put me to shame! I also started when I was 19. Alla and Sergei warm my heart as I see no younger people saving old structures where I live and my heart breaks. The structures have great bones and such history! I also fear our many skills will be lost among the younger people. Especially if they can't use electrical/battery tools 🤣These homes were built using brains and a lot of brawn and I have such respect for the original builders. Can you imagine taking materials up and down Sergei and Alla's steep hill???

Beautiful bathroom.
The bathroom is stunning. Original and inspired with lots of lovely creative touches. It looks really high end, no one would ever imagine you could create this on such a small budget. Can't wait to see you finish the kitchen. ❤❤
You have both taken on huge jobs with little to no experience and I am amazed at how well you are doing. You deserve a huge round of applause. Your painting on the walls makes each room a different experience and they are all gems.

Wow - the bathroom is BEAUTIFUL. You and Sergi should be so proud of your accomplishment. It's impressive to see the perseverance and how hard you both work. Now anytime you feel discouraged in the renovation you can go look at the bathroom and remember what you can accomplish. Love it!

Of course I am proud of the epic bathroom result, but I am even more amazed and delighted by your exemplary use of the English language to describe it. You have learned how to define your feelings and anxieties about the project as well as your frustrations and concerns. Putting your deepest struggles with a project into the words of a complicated language that is not your mother tongue - that is a feat of giant proportions. You also just built a gorgeous and complex room that anyone would love to live in - full time! 😊

I've been watching your channel since the beginning, when you first got the keys. The house was awful and never in my wildest dreams thought you both could accomplish so much in such a short time. From the garden, the outdoor kitchen, the cozy living room/ kitchen area, and WOW, the bathroom!! The paintings are beyond amazing!! So beautiful! I especially love Cherry doggy! She's a doll! ❤

Alla, you need a meter of bull nose marble tiles for around the sink edge to cover the plywood. I'm sure you already know that.
The bathroom is an artistic achievement! You have created an oasis in your home. If you continue this throughout the rest of the house, you're going to have to sell tickets for tours! Perhaps when you're finished you can do a DIY Tour for patreons or RUclips renovation couples. That could be fun.

I've been busy working on projects of my own (on my 18th century New England Colonial). BUT, at the end of some days I plop on my couch and enjoy watching (on my TV) what you two have been up to. Such a fantastic job you're doing!
When you finished the mural on your bedroom walls I thought, 'That's the best!'. But then, you outdid that with the mural on your bathroom walls! AND THEN, you outdid it again with the mural on your kitchen walls!!!!!!!!!!!!! INCREDIBLE! And as the old advertisers here used to say, "But wait, there's more!" What you've done with your garden --- A POND TOO?!!! -- is beyond words of amazement!
Having done many of the things you've done, I understand what's involved. But that you do all that AND record, edit and publish too is phenomenal! I've got so many more thoughts about all you've accomplished. But, I'll leave it here and just say -- Thanks for taking us along with you as you create beauty and joyfulness and share it with the world! I look forward to seeing all you do next.

In my house is everything 2nd hand too. All kitchenware , furniture which I have re-painted for white, cutlery , sets of dinner plates, even Christmas plates also different sets. I have everything best for almost nothing as I could never afford anything. 🎄

Your bathroom is beautiful 💕 💗💕However your mirror is upside down, your mirror is a traditional shield shape mirror. Your faucet would look better against the plain mirror bottom & with the more decorative top upright as it was designed.

It turned out beautiful! I had my doubts about the dark grays on the walls but with the brass fixtures it looks really lovely. The shower is too dark for my taste just because I'm SUPER claustrophobic and would need the space to be brighter but it looks great! I don't know how you use it with it so cold in there though. Maybe you can put an electric heater on just for when you want to relax in that stunningly beautiful bath tub. I've wanted a claw foot tub for years!!
