Thanks for this great alternative to frying. While frying is a whole different level, if you're making it for more than 2 people, it's just a mess. And WAY more calories. I love the ability to stick this in the oven, clean up, and by the time we're ready to eat there's no stress of having to clean up that grease all over the stove.
Chicken Parmagiana is one of my favorite foods. I had a question, when you put the first layer of chicken and sauce, can I add the cheese also? I noticed you added it only on top. Thanks. Love all your dishes ❤
You can definitely add cheese between the layers! It will be just as tasty. I only put it on the top because while, I like cheese-- I don't LOVE it like my fiance lol. So a super cheesy top layer is our compromise ^_^
I enjoy Bertolli sauces! I have yet to try Rao's. Also, do you recommend dry rub seasoning? Traditional dominican seasoning is my go to mi oregano, mi ajo majao del pilon, etc.

You can always add cheese in between the layers if you LOVE cheese lol. My fiance is a cheese lover but I'm not too too crazy about cheese so I only add it on the top. That's my compromise. But if you like it extra cheesy-- go for it. It will only make the dish tastier.
I have to say I did not like the chicken baked, it didn't have that crunch fried chicken cutlets have. But I did like the way it was baked. This is a great alternative though for someone that can't eat fried foods. Thank you for sharing.

Corrie- Onagoodday quick look it up! RAO’s marinara sauce. It’s the best sauce. Pricey if you’re a Ragu person but soooo worth every penny. Once I switched from Prego to RAO’s I never looked back no matter what it costs me. They sell it at BJs and everything.

I'll give it a try, but I'll use the baking pan with the grate removed to place the chicken one layer deep on it for the final bake....less clean up!...oh and a final sprinkle of parmesan on top while it's baking,,,
I love it but you did not put mozzarella cheese on the first layer of chicken. So I'm thinking only the top layers of chicken will have the benefit of the Mozzarella cheese.
I'm sure that you can, but I haven't tried it. If you did this in a crockpot, I'd imagine that the chicken wouldn't be crispy. My concern would be that this dish would come out too watery.

Rao's jarred sauce is pretty good.
I take any jar sauce and pump it up with garlic, herbs, and spices. Sometimes I’ll add fresh tomatoes too.

I haven't tried, but I'm sure it will taste yummy. I might do that in the next few weeks since I have a ton of almond flour in the house.
