This guy is PHENOMENAL. I already made 2 of his recipes, everything came out just as in the video, I can't believe I wasted my time all these years watching other cooks!
This looks incredible. I recommend using slices of cheese (I do provolone) and brushing the top with just a tiiiiiiny bit of olive oil before baking. It takes the golden brown crust to a whole new level. Can't wait to try your recipe.
I cook 2 meals a week for dinner for my family. I'm 13. I've already tried 2 of your/these recipes and my family loves them. So so glad this channel exists. Will be making this. Going in the grocery list!
Created this for my family and I for dinner. Mm we loved it, I’m still learning how to make great dishes so my mom doesn’t have to cook as much. It was so comforting to make, I will make it again soon. Thank you!!
TOTALLY just made this tonight!!! Came together really quickly and I watched the video to make sure I was doing the steps right!!! Made this for my husband and myself and when I looked up at him and saw he had cleaned the whole plate!! Definitely going to add this to the rotation in the menu!!! You guys have to try it!
I made this exact recipe the other night and didn’t even think about putting Parmesan or parsley in the breading mixture. What a fantastic idea! Next time for sure. 😄
My wife usually made the Parmesan dish but I mentioned I had another way of doing it. I made your recipe for my wife and kids and they loved it! As side dishes, I cooked green beans in butter and garlic and rice Pilaf. Thank you for another way of cooking a meal.
I made this for dinner tonight but substituted gluten free all purpose flour for dredging and instead of bread crumbs I used Corn Flake crumbs with Italian Seasoning and parmesan cheese for the coating. I then used lactose free mozzarella cheese for the topping. It worked beautifully. My hubby has developed an intolerance to both gluten and lactose over the years but is able to have parmesan. I love John's recipes and try to adapt them. This worked very well!
I made this last night and it was DELICIOUS! Super easy to make, the chicken was juicy and not over cooked, and the melted cheese was divine! Thank you!
In Argentina we call these milanesas de pollo napolitana (ham in added in these) and one trick I recommend is adding a lot of parsley and garlic to the eggs and letting the meat marinate in it for a few minutes. I love your videos and they are so easy to follow along, which I appreciate.
I made this last night and the chicken turned out perfectly and it was so yummy! John, your recipes, and easy to follow instructions, are the best. Love your channel. Thank you and keep them coming. 💕🌻🇨🇦
Pro tip that I recently learned....put cheese on the chicken first before the oven stage. Adding sauce directly to the chicken can make the breading soggy. Cheese acts as a barrier to prevent that. Cheese first then sauce on cheese!
I made this for dinner for me and my husband tonight turned out great. What a nice video! I love how you keep telling us to wash our hands which is good after handling raw meat.
Your cooking videos are amazing. Whenever i want to impress my guests with making good food I study your videos ahead of time and my food comes out great. Keep it up, you're a good guy and a skilled cook.
I made this recipe tonight (after watching the video last week); it was absolutely delicious! Instead of using a jar of purchased marinara sauce I used your recipe for InstantPot sauce - that is what made it so great, I think. Your recipe for sauce is better than sauces I find the supermarket (most the the prepared one are too sweet for my liking) This is a recipe I will definitely make many times. 👍😋🍲
All fall 2022, and so far ALL THIS WINTER, I have been baking your deserts!! For gifts! For what’re!! And people are raving about these deserts!! I love to bake it/ give it away!! I feel so blessed to know your desert recipes now,, this has been my dream.
WOW! I made this today - It is hands-down the absolute best chicks parm I've ever eaten! (-and I've had some really good parm in my life!). As an added touch to the sauce: I pan-fried a drained can of stewed tomatoes until they were deep red and added a jar of Prego garlic-parm sauce and a very tiny bit (less than 1/4 tsp) of "smashed-to-a paste" anchovy, and cooked more. Can't taste the anchovies in the end, but they add a deep nuance to the sauce. Results = Incredible! Thanks John! YOU are "Amazing" !
I have tried your recipe for Chick Parm and it is the best. The chicken patties are actually crunchy which I love, I have made so many recipes that left the chicken patties soggy. Thanks, your recipe is now the only one I have in recipe box for chicken parm.
Chicken Parmigiana is a pub staple over here in Australia, it is extremely popular and you can go crazy with the types of topping and cheeses you use :) (crusty cheese is the bomb)
Luv ur recipe. My son introduced me to u. He luvs ur adventures in the kitchen of ur delicious creations of goodness. I'll be making this on the weekend but as a Parnassian sandwich with toasted garlic buns. Ur friend from Toronto 🇨🇦 says hello eh?
I just love to watch you cooking. You make me laugh while learning from you. You are the best cooking channel I follow. Thank you for inspiring us. 😉👍🇨🇦
I LOVE your videos! I've wanted to make so many of these recipes but didn't know how. You make it so easy to understand and that takes away my fear of the kitchen! I'm making this chicken parm recipe tomorrow for my family. Next week I'll make your baked Alaska. My kid asked for baked Alaska and although I've heard of it, I never knew what it was until now. Thank you for having such a great channel! I'm addicted! I've already made your madeleines for my family and they were gone in an hour.
Just made your AIRFRYER version of this recipe. Best comfort food! My goodness this is SO good! I happened to have Italian seasoned panko. Floured the thin-sliced breasts first before egg dredge. Love that in the air fryer, the exterior meat just gets golden and it is cooked through. I also did my spaghetti squash with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder in the air fryer first, while prepping the meat. Great way to add more veggies and cut a few carbs. Thanks John! Love, love love your recipes!
I made this for dinner tonight and it was fabulous, easy and exactly as shown in the video!! This will definitely become a new weekend favourite when we tend to indulge in a less healthy meal. You are a man of many talents so thank you for sharing with the rest of us😋
As an Arab I feel sorry for people who think of parsley as a garnish, we make one of the most popular dish my fav of all time tabolah, made with alot of parsley, coriander, lettuce, green onions and tomato all chopped into small pieces mixed with thin semolina that was soaked in water and drained then add olive oil, lemon juice and salt ,we don't use parsley just for decoration we use it for a lot of different salads too , I feel sorry for people who think of it just as a decoration
Have just come across your channel as I'm trying new recipes. I cooked this last night & it was absolutely fantastic, your directions & step-by-step style were so easy to follow. Not to mention, it was just so much fun to make! The whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks John!
Anyone else they could experience a dinner cooked for them by John? And by experience I mean the whole shebang like watching him prepare it as well as eating . I truly do believe that food is an experience and watching him prepare really opens my tastebuds he does it with such skill , finesse and ease ❤
You definitely are the BEST. Cooking channel anywhere. I know this is great because this is exactly how I make mine. But your eclair recipe sure beats my OLD one. Your Eclair recipe is my recipe now. Your recipes are like the ones from days gone by, fairly simple and made with common ingredients that anyone can easily get any day. Good solid food real food.
Almost forgot, about parsley being more than a garnish, I was stunned when the cashier asked me what one would do with parsley. First thing that came to mind was chicken soup. Here in the hinterlands only the curly type. But if that is all there is, better than none. I was mildly astonished that people here have never used it IN FOOD. I grew up where you are now.

Tried this recipe last night and it took my chicken parm to the max. Paired it with cavatappi and a garden salad. My family loved it. Thank you. You have a new subbie. The parsley was a game changer. So much flavor and I also added roasted red peppers. You should try it. I put it right on top of each chicken then covered in sauce and then cheese and drizzled with the leftover parsley

Hey John they look amazing! Funny funny thing is that my grandmother now I'm Italian so my grandmother makes amazing chicken cutlets and chicken cutlet parm of course LOL and the only way I could get really good chicken cutlets is when I visit my grandmother in Waterbury. It's our favorite thing she makes! And you make it similar to what how she makes it. Now I wanted to try your recipe and I said well because I do keto I would have to use pork rinds as bread crumbs and then I see you grab the Rao's sauce and I'm like 😱. I don't have time to make my own homemade sauce like my grandmother does as I grew up with but I have to use Rao's low sugar. Thank you for sharing. I'm just too lazy to drive 2 hours to go visit my grandmother for chicken cutlets. 😂🤣😂😂

It may not be gourmet but any leftover breadcrumbs and eggs mixed together as a patty and fried is the ultimate treat. Most kids love them.

I always use to much and have to throw it away or I use too little and end up having to add more. Uggh!! I can never get it correct.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. The ingredients are affordable and one can get them at the nearest store. I will try this recipe over the weekend.
