    Were moving our business and thinking about leasing a 304e2. We did a demo on one and are every impressed. Also thinking about purchasing a 908m wheel loader.

    Just got a 2015 cat 305.5. Next to my back up alarm cut off switch there is another button with a picture of a window weight with kg and a line going through it. Would you happen to know what that switch does?

    Between you and your dad I've been convinced to try out some Cat machines. I'm meeting with a sales rep next week to try some out and talk about purchasing options. Hopefully I'm as impressed as you guys have been!

      I'm in the same boat. I've looked at all manufacturers and I cant believe how much difference there is in digging force between the cat and other minis. The Yanmar VIO55 is my absolute favorite machine (bucket digging force of 10k+ lbs) but they are very difficult to find (used). Cats are everywhere so that's what I'm going with.

    How does that Cat compare to the Bobcat E50. I am in the market and trying to decided on brand.

      +catalanojaa In my opinion the Cat is a lot better. Much better quality and comfort and its very comparable performance wise.

    I just put in an application to work at an equipment rental company, so this is helpful for me, especially if I get hired.

    Only thing missing is a floor mat inside the cab. I use the ones that looks like fake grass, you can cut them for just the right size of the cab floor and then you can empty it very easy just by sliding it out and drop all shit on the ground. :)
    And a tiltrotator. ;) Hehe.....

      +cat320dful where would you put your boots? safety would hate that. also, do you put on your boots to get out of the cab each time? I can't stay in a cab for 11 hours straight

    • @cat320dful
      @cat320dful 8 лет назад

      +samvt on the catwalk next to the cabin amd if you where klompen than you would just put you feet in them and your done it takes a sec

    We have a fleet of 305's on my project. I absolutely hate them, the foot controls are terrible. We rented a takehuechi? recently to do some hoe ramming, such a better put together mini.
    the 305 will do some serious work though, i just don't enjoy operating it. we use them mostly for doing silt fence, under drains and check dams.

    • @DirtNinja
      @DirtNinja  8 лет назад

      +samvt Are they 305e2 machines? They made a lot of improvements with the "e2" series

    • @samvt
      @samvt 8 лет назад

      +Dirt Ninja no i believe they're 305.5e's. don't get me wrong, good machines but i don't like the comfort or smoothness(or lack there of). honestly the foot controls are my biggest gripe, because usually i have to track them around a lot and then go up and down very steep V ditches, and i can't stand using them longer than a couple seconds. all the new cats are very hit or miss, the new tier 4 F model hoes are slow and smooth, but i can't deal with how slow. I love all the D and E models though. I know you enjoy the new skid steer, we got a 259 CTL and it's just way too jumpy on the throttle for me. i spend most of my time in either a 321D zero swing with a 1 yd bucket or a 329E 3 yard 66" to load, i love those machines more than anything. I'm trying to get into videoing stuff, i got one up if you wanna watch the 321 move some dirt.

      I have bought numerous items in the past with minor-moderate flaws, contact the manufacturer and get no where with them. Some manufacturers have told me to purchase another new item from them. I would like to see manufacturers admit they have a design problem, then offer to fix the problem for free if you purchased it new.

      Guys! This is a mini ex, not a damn King Ranch. As long as he can see out of the window, the cab is fine. Hell, it ain't like he's picking up his girlfriend in this thing.
