Funny thing is my first thought during your kill the past video where you timelapse you taking down the bits from your wall was ohhhhh, Van Neistat synths, then i see the whiteout on the paper binder and it confirms it. Personally I see art allot like language, you're regurgitating catchphrases, shortenings and structure from a ton of other influences to fundementally convey your own thought. Just because you used similar bits, doesnt mean the whole is any less valid as your own production, the art is in the work, the result is secondary

Since he stopped vlogging and doesn't have much of a TikTok presence (I think) I guess he's not quite as ubiquitous to young audiences now in the Mr Beast age. I can barely see out of those glasses now cos I scratched the lenses in the paint job process 😂
