How arrogant can you guys be to make that statement about people posting on RUclips…
Without RUclips, where would you be?

Hot take: most people DON’T actually want to watch average riders doing an average job of riding average trails, and people are just being sensitive for the sake of it
Whilst what he said might not have been perfectly delivered, how many of you really want to sit and watch poor quality shaky footage of someone doing an ok job of rolling a trail with no commentary or entertainment vs watching skilled riders doing impressive stuff on advance trails/features, or well structured videos with good commentary/ provide some value
(the view/sub count of channels that have been posting content like that consistently for years without breaking 5k views speaks for itself)
Sure, it’s great to watch a quick POV before you head to a local bike park for prep - but does YT really need 1,000 shaky 720p knock off GoPro clips per day of some guy rolling a local trail? Probably not.

Yeah, I usually scroll past it without a second thought as to whether or not it should be uploaded in the first place. Typically I want to find content of those to varying degrees at or way above my level. I don’t typically find much value in watching videos of those who aren’t as good as me, but it’s all relative and that type of content is relevant for people who are just starting out.

The podcast with these statements that Ryan took out of context also has been live for a while and nobody seemed to care, since when you listen to the whole thing, it's pretty recognizable as the sort of banter that it was meant to be...

So funny to see cancel culture in a different context.
They were having a laugh about the million GoPro clips. People need to grow up and stop pretending to be offended

Kaz and whinney need to be let go. I have never Ever thought any of the Mtb RUclipsrs wanted to be racers. Race team mechanic? I only know 1 washed up one.
Most important! Can all the Mtb Manufacturers explain on YT why you have Sponsored RUclipsrs for this content.
I don't think PB will Survive this one.
