I couldn't even imagine a different movie winning best picture for that year. And what a spectacular year for movies 1993 was. Short Cuts really should have nominated.
@@ChadSabourin I think 'In the Name of the Father' has a larger scale to it. Lots of glaring inaccuracies in comparison to the actual story though (him and his father were not in the same prison together).
Schindler's List is the definition of a movie everyone must watch at least once in life.
@@thetrison Yes!!! 100% agree.
"Schindler's List" will forever remain as Steven Spielberg's magnum opus.

@@jimmywormwood9687 It really was! I saw Short Cuts for the first time earlier this year & liked it.
I haven’t seen schindlers list in a long time. I remember liking it but not as much as everyone else did. I’ll see how I’d like it on a rewatch
@@CantArticulate Oh! You should definitely rewatch it. I think you would appreciate it a lot now.

I need to see 'In the Name of the Father' after your recommendation.
@@dfcintron Yes! 100% recommend you watch it. Even if you don’t like the film, the acting is phenomenal!
Is it ok to say that 'In the Name of the Father' is Jim Sheridan's best film?
@@rowanc88 That’s a fair opinion! It’s tough because I also really like “My Left Foot”.
