the husband putting ‘dog murderer’ in his bio like some sick joke just shows that they clearly don’t care or think what they did was wrong. they could’ve just rehomed him.
It basically sounds to me like they neglected their dog's issues for almost a decade, and then k*lled it when they found the "perfect" excuse. Especially if the dog was with them since birth, and if it was attacked as a puppy, the logical thing to do is go through some proper training. Poor pup didn't deserve this sh*t. What vile people.
I know and they said they wouldn’t really let it out of the house. So you have a dog with aggression issues STUCK inside for who knows how long LIKE...???? These people make me sick. Absolutely disgusting.
@@namedshelby what were they supposed to do? Having him outside puts other peoples pets at risk. His quality of life was poor because of his issues that were potentially unresolvable. Trying to rehab a dog with that kind of bite history is dangerous.
@@hellomoto5870 I disagree. If this couple took the time and effort to help their dog from a young age, they probably would've been able to avoid a lot of those worrying situations they mentioned. Plus, being stuck inside and not being allowed outside at all isn't normal for a dog and results in the dog not being used to other people or noises, which also isn't normal. The fault for this dog's behaviour is 100% on the owners who simply didn't bother to do anything. If their dog was too difficult for them to take care of properly, they should've re-homed it, not kill it.
Exactly. My sweet Brittany was put down on my 16th birthday, she was almost 15 years old. I grew up with her and my oldest memory is of getting her. I don’t know how I remember, but I do so clearly and vividly. These two were so fake and narcissistic, and WRONG. They killed him, they made that f*cking choice and I hate them for it.
Right?! My first childhood dog lived for 17 years but my second only lived for 8 after inhaling skunk spray and going into multi-organ failure. I would do anything to have saved her from that. I couldn’t imagine “euthanizing” a dog...they killed that dog
this whole situation makes me sick to my core because the REASON they murdered their dog was because he bit their son, but in the photo shoot they had NO problem putting them right next to each other???? obviously he wasn’t agressive to the point where they didn’t feel bad putting them right next to each other. whole thing makes me sick.
@@coralil1 What a freaking sociopath omg. My cat got diagnosed with arthritis and I cried knowing she has to be in any sort of pain and discomfort. I don't know how people can actually lose their pet, let alone make the choice to kill their pet, and then joke about it. It's absolutely sickening.
It infuriated me when she kept saying she felt "awkward" like, no. You should be heartbroken. You didn't run into your ex at the farmer's market, your dog is dead!
When I was 2, our dog bit my face. She had terrible ear infections and I had grabbed her ears. After that, my parents learned how to handle her and make it work. Here I am 30 years later and I’m so glad that dog lived a long 15 year life.
Okay. Well it's called boundaries. What you did to the dog was a lesson in boundaries and that hopefully carried into interacting with people. Because people bite too lol
Also what’s sickening is that sometimes animal control gets involved for violent behavior and makes families put dogs down even if they don’t want to. The fact they willingly wanted their dog to be put down is disgusting
My vet once told me a story that has stayed with me forever. One afternoon a family came in to her veterinary clinic, distraught, claiming their German Shepard needed to be put down. It was usually incredibly gentle and well behaved, but it had suddenly bitten one of their children. After euthanizing the doggie, her assistant noticed something nestled inside its ear. One of the children had evidently shoved a colouring pencil deep into the dog's skull, causing unimaginable pain. It breaks my heart to think of an innocent creature being taken from this world😔
@@marad786 reason number #235346 why parents like this and children in general don’t deserve dogs. And people wonder why people don’t like kids. They harm animals and get pets killed from dumb parents that don’t know how to control their kids and stop caring about their beloved pets the minute they have a child.
Let’s not forget that Nikki and Dan were gonna adopt internationally but their reason for not going through with it was because they were told by the adoption agency she wasn’t allowed to FILM when the child gets handed over to them or during the first year of having the child. They make my blood boil. So disgusting. Edit: Here’s the link to nikki and dans video about the adoption (skip to 2:30) ruclips.net/video/wYUw3Hq8vNg/видео.html
Agreed, you can tell that the “sadness” they’re trying to portray in their video is FAKE. It’s like they’re aliens who saw the emotion in a human and are now trying to replicate it but failing. Like it’s actually eerie as fuck
I refuse to give them a view. And I know if I watch it I'll cry and get angry. All the video reactions I've watched they all say the same thing. The video is disgusting and this people are just evil. Can't believe they have so many followers.
Right?? There's so much wrong with this situation, but somehow the photoshoot is the most disconcerting... especially the photo with the kid and the dog right next to each other. Not only is it absolutely chilling, it doesn't jive with them being concerned for their son's safety. Makes me question whether they're even telling the truth about the dog nipping the kid in the first place.
@@jfm14 EXACTLY if they were so concerned with their sons safety they wouldn’t put the dogs face next to their son… it’s obvious they just wanted him dead
Yooo the fact that they live in California, one of the states with the most animals shelters, rescues and sanctuary’s. I’m like 100% sure there’s a bull terrier rescue or sanctuary here in California And if not there, then the SHELTER! Just surrender the damn dog. What vet agreed to do this ?
Absolutely sickening. What got me the most in another video I watched was the woman reading a list she wrote of "things she's going to miss about Bowser." While getting all emotional. Like wth?? You don't get to kill your dog and then come online and get sympathy for how much you're going to miss him. 🤦♀️
It was so bizarre when they told the story about their kid grabbing Bowser’s ear so hard that he permanently damaged it, but Bowser didn’t even react?? So you agree... your dog wasn’t aggressive....
That part sent me over the edge... I own a cat who is a literal fluffy angel but who will occasionally (more than rarely) hit me with its paw without even drawing his claws if I annoy him too much. That’s the most “agressive” he’ll ever get, and that’s totally on me for provoking him. I can’t even imagine yelling at him when I know I’m the only one responsible for him tapping me without the claws (I swear he’s such an angel I can’t even), so the thought of getting rid of him like those awful people did completely wrecks me. If you love your pet, how can you behave like monsters ? :’(
If the child was repeatedly harassing the dog he probably went from tolerant to intolerant. Just as a person might if someone is repeatedly hurting them. At first you might let it slide snd then eventually you might do something about it. Just because it didn’t react the first time doesn’t mean that it’s strange that they’re saying he did a different time after that
@@hellomoto5870 i gett your point but that’s still on the parents for not preventing this kind of accident... plus, if the dog had reacted so badly they had no other solution (...) than to put it down, then why stage a photo shoot with the baby’s head so close to the dog’s teeth ?
I still have a scar above my lip from when I grabbed my dogs food bowl and she bit me. I was 7 years old. My parents were furious but they didn’t put our dog down. They sat me down and explained what happened and why. I learned my lesson. This is sickening.
I have scars on my wrist and chest from my cats scratching me because I wouldn't leave them alone. My parents told me every time that if I had just left them be I wouldn't have gotten scratched. They never blamed the cats, and they sure as hell didn't put them down.
I had the same situation and my parents did the same. I learned boundaries ever since then with pets. I loved that dog so much she passed peacefully at 16.
When I was 6 or 7 I was bitten on the cheek by my grandparents’ golden retriever. I had thrown a pillow at him and when I bent down to pick it up he lunged at me. My grandparents didn’t put him down, they put him outside for the night and cleaned my wound. It was scary, but I never held it against him. Unlike this stupid couple’s kid, I actually bled but not that much. It’s about PERSONAL responsibility. Teach your kid to respect pets.

Let’s face it, Bowser was getting in their way of moving. As a dog owner and mom, it’s my responsibility to make sure the kids were not left alone with the dogs when they were too young to understand boundaries with the dogs. This is just gross and I hope they get demonetized.
My sister-in-law infuriates me because she hardly ever watched her sons with their dog, and seemed to think that they should be able to treat the dog however they wanted. NO. Dogs may be domesticated, but deep down, there is still the wild animal in them that WILL attack when it feels threatened. Kill it with the "boys will be boys" attitude and watch your kids
aggression is stress for a dog. a dog doesn't enjoy being aggressive. it's literally stressful, exhausting and painful. no dog just decides to be aggressive. it's like a trauma response/coping mechanism and to blame a dog for their bad behaviour makes me so angry bc it's just humans failing the animal over and over again.
It is one of their only defense mechanisms!! Same with horses: they kick/bite and don't get put down, Cats: they scratch/bite and it's considered typical cat behaviour by most people?!
My dog died years ago when I was at work and I came home and found her and I still regret going to work that day. I literally skipped meals to pay to get her cremated so I could keep her forever. I couldn’t imagine doing this. It’s really disgusting and their emotions around it are disturbing.
Dude thats tough, im sorry. I lost one of my cats last year and that truly was the purest form of heartbreak i have ever felt, like someone ripped sth straight out of me.
I feel you so sorry for your loss I once caught my mom staring our dogs cremation urn and crying in the middle of the night I just can’t believe someone can do that to their pets
Oh my god, I went through the exact same thing just two weeks ago. I went to visit a friend and when i came back home that evening, my darling cat was just lying onthe floor dead. It was so terrible, i had a whole mental breakdown and the thought that died while i was gone still absolutely kills me...
Mine died last Christmas in almost the same way, we went to celebrate with family and she wasn't too good (we were doing okay corona wise in my country) so they took her to the vet and they knew something was really wrong, so they gave her some painkillers and did some blood exams, by the time we came back home a few hours later, she wasn't with us anymore. I had never regretted something more on my life, and yet, at the same time, in a weird way I'm glad I didn't have to see her suffer anymore. I'm just sad that she had to die alone. If we had been a little earlier...
We adopted a dog a few months ago. She recently started showing aggression toward our other dog. The first thing we did was call a trainer to get help. I sobbed for days over just the thought of rehoming her if we couldn’t work it out. I couldn’t imagine being that sick to KILL my dog over an issue that could be worked through. Edited to add: I also had to put one of our other dogs down recently due to an injury we couldn’t do anything to help, and it was the worst day of my life. I would do anything to hold her again. This story makes me so sick
Our adopted dog is terrified around men because his last owners boyfriend definitely abused him. This sweet baby thinks we are gonna give him up every single time we strap him up for walks and it breaks our hearts because we never would give him back. I don’t know how people like this exists
I rescued my dog 4 years ago from a similar situation. Her previous owners didn’t want her anymore and were going to “put her down.” Instead, she came to live with me. She’s 15 years old now, still happy and healthy. Welcoming her into my home was the best decision I’ve ever made.
She literally said that covid “supposedly” killed people’s loved ones as well. SUPPOSEDLY??????? She legitimately makes me sick. I haven’t been able to stop feeling angry about this since I found out what happened.

They really shouldn’t be parents. Like, there are just some people who shouldn’t be parents, to animals or children. Both Nikki and Dan are delusional psychopaths and I don’t know where to direct my rage right now other than the comment section.
An even scarier thought - what kind of person is this child going to grow up to be with them as his parents? They clearly aren't disciplining him or teaching him what is and is not ok. The child was grabbing at the dogs food and instead of training the dog and teaching their son boundaries, they killed the dog and eliminated the problem instead of providing a teachable lesson. Pretty disturbing and I hope he doesn't grow up to be entitled. I'm also nervous that he will have a ton of traits like his dad and being so into Old Yeller... My hopes aren't high for their parenting.
@@ChicSabrina oh their kid will definitely be entitled for sure. Just my opinion, but based on their lack of parenting, I can definitely see their kid resorting to “oh mom and dad have money, they’ll bail me out of this” with every inconvenience in their life, I’m sure their kid will just copy cat their behavior. I don’t know why that popped into my head, and I’m not a parent myself, but just a thought.
It took me FOREVER to actually be able to pet my cat mochi . But we tried to pet him every day to gain his trust, and now we're actually able to hold him and cuddle him. It just takes a lot of time and patience, but its definitely worth it.
Charlie wouldn't come out of my bathroom closet for a few weeks. It took roughly 4 months to get him to come downstairs. And then the couch. But it was worth it because he's the biggest baby ever. Cats are great. These people are beyond horrible.
They also need to realize though that an animal will have relapses even if they are trained. Mochi just attacked my hand today 😔, maybe he's too aggressive and I should get him put down. (Sarcasm)
Sita (my cat) was adopted after being in the shelter for 2 years in a cage most of the time. It took around a year for her to stop being aggressive she would claw bite hiss ever time you touched her but after gentle training she’s the sweetest most energetic funny cat ever. If they weren’t up for the challenge to help the dog they should have rehomed him to someone that would.
@@RinaRanThatWay yes! Every animal will get scared and bite or claw animals that go into relapses should still live they just need to be around people that are willing to deal with it and help them
When I was a little girl, we had a dog who had anxiety and other issues because she was beaten by her previous owners before we got her. She ended up biting me a few times but I never blamed her for it. I always understood that she was a scared animal. I can't believe they did this to that poor baby...
that part. when you adopt an animal, you need to see them as an ANIMAL. they will bite if they’re scared or upset, even if you train them so well that they’re nearly perfect. If your child puts its hand in the dogs mouth, and the dog is eating, teach your child not to do that like a fucking idiot!! god it makes me so mad
My dod of almost 8 years has separation anxiety. He was one of my uncle's friends dog. They kept him outside in summer (90-100+ degrees) on cement in their backyard. He wasn't being fed right either. So, my uncle took him and gave him to my grandparents. He stayed with them for like 2 years before he moved in with us. I just can't imagine doing that to any animal. But especially my dog. He's so cute and loves cuddles. He used to be our "fever detector" because he would just lay down on you because you were warm. He loves sleeping in the sun, as well.
Exactly!!! I have a rescue cat with severe anxiety and some form of neurological issues and I don't get upset with her when she gets frightened and hisses or swats at me or her other behavioral issues.
When I was little, my cat bit me when I was trying to play with her. My parents used it as a lesson to teach me boundaries. Animals are not people. If they are scared, angry, or threatened, they will defend themselves. Stop punishing animals for being animals
the same kind of thing happened to me. our dog was super old and blind and i accidentally stepped on him and he bit me. they didn’t punish him because he was just scared and defending himself, but they taught me that i needed to be more careful and aware of what i’m doing. we had to put him down a few months later because he got sick, but my parents never treated him different after that. i can’t imagine putting one of my fur babies down because they were defending themselves.
Exactly! I saw on another video that the child had been "playing" with the dog so roughly it developed cauliflower ear..so your kid was consistently physically harming your dog/taking its food and you're now baffled that the kid got a little defensive nip as a result?! Some children aren't instinctively gentle with their pets, they need to be shown and taught. This could have so easily been avoided with a small effort to teach both the child and the dog how to interact appropriately. They are either ridiculously dense or callously cold hearted. It's just so sad.
yes!!! I mean they literally CANT communicate with us and tell us they’re upset so them defending or nipping is their way of telling us they’re uncomfortable or want us to stop what we’re doing! that’s a great lesson for a kid
I'm a dog trainer and I work closely under a 20+ year behaviorist. I've been dreading looking into this story because there were things that could have been done, especially over 9 years.
If you look at the footage, you see the guy trained this dog to not have food aggression and you can see from the video the dog has zero good aggression. It's disturbing in light of these receipts.
@@Sigurjon543 he didn’t train the dog to not have food aggression. He put his hands on the dog while it was eating, probably sensitizing it to the presence of people when he’s eating.
A dog trainer once told me “I actually don’t really train dogs at all, I train dog owners” Just like you would if you wanted to work on a farm, you have to learn how to care for different animals. Animals just exist how they naturally would in any given environment. Most dog owners probably shouldn’t be dog owners. It’s a big responsibility.
As someone who’s never owned a pet, this also makes me disgusted and horrified. And the photoshoot bit is on a psychotic level. That cute dog never had a chance with that family.
First - Thank you for covering this! It wasn’t easy for you, I could see that, I appreciate you shedding light on this. Here’s my story of our dog who did everything their dog did. One of our rescue dogs has bitten everyone in the family especially in the early years of being rescued, he bitten my face three times but I never even thought about giving up on him! We knew he just need some care and after working with him and working with everyone who is around him the bitting stopped. Not only did it stop but he developed an amazing bond with us, he loves our family so much if he hears you cry he will find you and comfort you, even though he’s nearly completely blind now, he follows the sound and gives you his paw and kisses your tears away. To go from biting faces to kissing that just shows how far he has come. Not only that but when I started fainting due to illness he instinctively, with no training started laying on the floor beside me keeping me warm and licking my hand till I came around. It was an instinct he had. And in the early days of my illness it made me feel so much safer less scared. He’s such an amazing dog. When a dog has a great home he becomes a great dog. The photoshoot part made me sick. To me that says they didn’t love the dog but just the idea of the dog. I can’t help but think if this dog had just been given a chance, just been given a real home that worked for him, he could have been the most amazing companion.
That's a lovely story of you and your dog. I personally have a lil dwarf dachshund who doesn't bite at all, but when he did one time whilst i was playing very roughly with him, he was SO terrified to have bit me, it was really odd how he didn't want to come near me for like 2 hours. and, he's also a sweetie that whenever he hears me cry he comes rushing to me. Dogs need privacy too from time to time, and if they get that, they'll give you the same love.
Good story! Its a life man its not a robot. We all do stupid shit when were kids but we slowly learn as were taught more. Same with dogs. They dont magically know whats right or wrong. If you can give your kids years to improve then can obviously give the dog a few months
Me too. I had a 15 yo dog pass 3 years ago and I thought that was bad..but then my Pit Bull passed this year being only 5 and a half years old from heart worm.
It took Jenna a hard YEAR to get Bunny comfortable with watching Seinfeld...they didn’t even do the bare minimum of socializing their dog..this is very tragic. Rest in Doggy Heaven ❤️
When I was a 5, the new dog we rescued snapped at me because I was too rough and scared her. My parents didn't get mad at the dog. They told *me* I needed to respect her boundaries and make her feel safe. Yes, we trained her, but I was also taught how to respect our animals and not expect all animals to have the same comfort levels with affection and play
When I was 4 we got a rescue German Shepard and my parents reprimanded for something and put me in time out on the couch, then they went to their room. I tried to sneak off the couch and the dog growled and barked at me and my parents were thrilled. Lol. Also if we played with him and he got tired of us he would just sit on my sister and I.
Same happened to my brother. We had a black lab he was honestly the best dog and very mellow normally. This is the only time the dog has ever snapped at anyone. My brother didn't respect his boundaries and the dog snapped at him. My parents were not mad at the dog but had a talk with my brother
my dad once yelled about something, i don't remember what it was, but our dog (a little sausage dog we had had for years at the time) started barking at him. my dad got mad at the dog and tried to grab her but she snapped at him and wriggled away. my dad was stunned! it was so funny to watch! our dog really put my dad in his place :D
I had a similar situation. We got a dog from the shelter that had been abused and neglected by his owners and he had food aggression. I think it was because the old owners hardly fed him. We knew this about him before we got him, so it wasn't a surprise or anything. My parents talked to us a lot and explained that he was hurt by old owners and that we needed to give him love but also respect his space and not be really loud and spazzy around him so we don't scare him. And NOT to mess with him when he's eating. I was about 7 at the time so I had the attention span of a rock. On the first day I screwed up. I didn't realize he had food, and excitedly ran up to him to play with him and he bit my hand. I actually still have a little scar. And I of course cried like I was dying lol. But it was my fault. My parents obviously made sure I was ok, they took care of my hand, and reiterated that it's not the dog's fault, I was told not do do literally exactly what I did, and I understood that. He never bit anyone after that, he turned out to be the sweetest dog ever. He was just a year or two old when we got him and he lived to be 14!
my dog accidentally bit my arm pretty severely when i was younger-i remember crying and begging my dad not to call anyone on my dog, that it was my fault (which it was). i cannot fathom caring for a dog for so many years and then discarding them so carelessly.
I have a scar on my knee from my dog and I still miss him everyday, but because he bit one of my sisters friends we had to give him to the humane shelter near us. I wish we didn't have to give him up but he was abused as a puppy and raised in a puppy mill. Also he wasn't properly socialized with humans, especially children, or cats at all, so he couldn't have been happy in our home. I like to think now he has gone to a nice and loving house with one or two adults and no other pets where he is happy and properly taken care of (not that he wasn't at my house, he just didn't like the cats or the kids). That was in late 2019 and I miss him an indescribable amount.
I have pretty much the exact same story. my dog (who was a puppy at the time) bit my arm and my mom was telling her off for it and she (my dog) was sitting there listening and looked back at me looking very sorry and I wasn't scared, not even as she bit me. I told my mom to stop because I had probably irritated her in some way which is probably proof of how good it is to grow up with animals; compassion.
I have a coworker with a puppy trying to exhibit dominance over and scaring their other dog. Want to know what they’re doing about it? Getting training for the puppy to try and curb the behavior. Why? Because that’s what a responsible owner does. This story makes me genuinely ill. I can’t even imagine doing something like that to my dog.

@@HeatherE303 i think that all dogs can be trained to some degree, and what makes me more mad is that they knew the dog had issues from the time it was a pup, they had years of chances. the dog was attacked as a puppy, they could have gotten it trained and even treated or prescribed medications or natural remedies, etc. yes, the dog probably had mental problems, and it may not have even been a good fit for them (because of the child, and the lack of boundaries that they set) but it could have gone to a mature home and not just killed :( (just my thoughts on this)
It’s so incredibly clear that they didn’t care about that dog at all. They were in the most ideal situation to get that dog the help he needed before this happened and they just didn’t care enough to do that for him.
She is very, very obviously the kind of person who expects animals (and children) to manage her emotional needs without inconvenience for her. That child will have a lot of emotional trauma to unpack in adulthood.
Honestly. She thinks dogs and children are just cute little playthings, it seems. THOSE ARE LIVES. I hope in the future this kid does not turn out to be like their parents. I hope that he understands that what his parents did to his first dog ever was horrible and should never happen.
from their statements they gave me the impression that they were constantly testing the dog and setting him up to fail, then when he got slightly aggressive with their child they just let him go when that shouldn’t have happened to him
I have a rescue dog and I got her when she was 1. It took my dad two weeks for her to go near him. It has taken 5-7 years to get her to be comfortable with men due to her past. She still freaks out when she hears certain noises and starts shaking (she is 9). I would/will never give up on her and make sure she is loved until she passes. These people absolutely disgust me!
i currently have a very old cat, and i’m honestly begging that she goes peacefully in her sleep one day so that we never have to put her down. i can’t imagine just doing it because she bothered me. it’s sickening
we had to put our family cat down last year and it was so heartbreaking. she was a cranky old lady and bit everyone, but we never even considered putting her down because of that. their excuse is just awful. (also hi we have the same name and even spell it the same!)
I had to put down my old cat a couple of months ago and I feel so guilty still. Even though he wasn’t doing well I hated making the choice. I didn’t care I constantly had to clean up after him. What mattered to me was his quality of life was not good and I didn’t want him to suffer anymore. To just put an animal down for being an inconvenience his evil. They should never be allowed to be pet owners again.
We had to put down our cat a month ago. He had mouth cancer, and as heartbreaking at it was we knew it was the right decision. He was losing weight rapidly, and he couldn't eat because of a tumor in his tongue.
Wtf. I had never heard of her before this, so that is just...a lot to process. Her requirement for adopting a child was being allowed to film them and put them on the internet?! I guess I'm glad she pulled out of the adoption though as shitty as that makes her look because if filming children and using them for your income is more important than caring for and loving a child in need, you're a shit person/parent.
I don’t know much about adoption, but is it common for couples to be denied domestic adoption? Like is this a red flag or is denying parents a common occurrence for domestic adoptions?
I remember coming home from 3rd grade one day and having my dad tell me my dog died. I remember sobbing. I still tear up when I think about it. This is disgusting thank you so sharing.

Mind you, I found a super nice home for her and I still cried like a dumbass when she left bc i felt like i failed her. I cant even fathom how those people did this to their dog, its so disgusting.
I had to rehome a beagle at 8-9 years old when my parents were going to a divorce. he was pretty aggressive and it was such a stressful time we didn't have the opportunity to train. we took him to a no kill shelter and they let us know he found a loving home
i had to rehome my parrot and ive felt guilt for years ever since. i miss her all the time, but i know she was going to a family that could take much better care of her. i totally get how you feel
We adopted a large dog from the humane society about five years ago. He met our two dogs there’s and they were fine. When we got him home, he became aggressive, to the point that we had to take him back the next day. We realized quickly that it was a death-risk to keep him. Some idiots might say “just train the dog!” But he was 80 pounds and our other dogs were 60 pounds, and when it took me AND my husband to keep him away from the other dog he went after while yelling at our 6-year-old to get the hell away so she wouldn’t be hurt, we did what some people would say makes us bad animal people, and took him back. The humane society was thankful, and made sure he went to a home where he’d be the only animal, which is where he ended up. He went to a retired couple on a lake with no other animals. After him, we got a small dog with a tremendous amount of trauma, and she’s still high needs, and we love her. But she’s also 8 pounds and her snaps are easy to handle. We’ve gotten another dog and four more cats since then, and will get another golden retriever when our 14-year-old golden dies (the one the other big dog attached died two years ago at the age of 13). Sometimes we fail animals by trying tp put the stupidly sensitive sensibilities of other humans who don’t know shit about the situation above the best interests of the animals themselves. We realized we weren’t the family for Brute, and he ended up in the right home since our concern was the safety of the animals and our child first. Because of that, we ended up with a dog who needed years of rehab to even come to her name, and many homes wouldn’t have put up with that. You didn’t fail your cat. You did the right thing. If she wasn’t happy with you, and is happy where she is now, how is that a fail? Fuck what other humans thing. Look at how your animals are doing and let that be the guide.
We rescued a dog who ended up attacking one of our other dogs and ripping off its ear. We considered returning the dog. We didn’t, we worked with the dog. Now, we have a greyhound cross who is the most gorgeous animal in the world and would do ANYTHING for us. You have to earn loyalty and love.
We rescued a dog last year, and she attacked a cat. We didn't know what to do at first, but we knew we couldn't just get rid of her. We've worked with her, and have now she's checking kittens' butts like our other dog does.
I almost have the same story: my parents rescued a dog, we knew he was beaten in his past family but we didn't knew he was violent with dogs and cats. He once bite another dog and we were afraid that dog's owner presured us to put him down. On the contrary, he was comprehensiv. We work for a year and a half and now he's still defensiv at the beginning but once we show him there's no threat and they are slowly introduce to each other they became friends. To put down a dog is rarely the solution, hard work for a extended periode of time can do miracles. those people are just selfish monsters! (sorry for my english, I'm french)
As a dog owner, this shit infuriates me. I watched their video and the vibes I got were they were tired of dealing with him and didn’t want to put in the effort to make their dog better. Their faces screamed relieved, instead of heart broken.
omg please do NOT apologize for being angry or think you're overreacting. as a fellow pet owner (dogs and a bird) i have no words. i feel really numb. i appreciate you speaking my anger into words, because i have no idea what to even do
I JUUUUUUST heard about this whole fiasco like 10 mins ago and I'm so disgusted. Can't believe they did a freakin PHOTOSHOOT and monitized off the whole thing. So horrific.
The fact that they put the child next to the dog for a photoshoot should be brought to the attention of CPS. It's fucked. if they thought the dog is a dangerous animal (it isn't, it's just under trained) then they knowingly put a child next to a dangerous animal. If the dog isn't a dangerous animal, what they did is animal cruelty. Fuck these people.
I remember waking up for school as a child and find my dog, Max, dead on our lawn. I remember screaming like a banshee because whenever I came outside he would be the first to greet me. My parents came outside and my mum started to cry and my dad called the vet. Due to having exams, I still had to go to school, after that day. Our other dog who was a brother to Max developed heavy depression. We were all worried, he wouldn't run anymore, eating was a chore, we called the vet and they gave us some tips but it didn't work. My Dad decided that maybe a change of scenery would be best for him and so that's what they did. They sent him to live with a veterinary professor who was a friend to the family and funnily enough I go to that University now and he seems to be doing okay, they put him on a small farm with other animals and he looks better. So the fact that these people decided to jump every step and just put down their dog is one of the sickest things I have heard. The fact that when they had their needed excuse the next thing that came to their mind was to euthanize the poor baby just baffles me.
Literally the most sickening story I've heard this year. Over two years later and I still cry about my old dog who had to be put down after a stroke. This is so gross
Wow...poor baby looked so smiley and happy in the photos... he was all “CHEESE!!” not even knowing that the people who he is supposed to trust and love the most are planning on ending his own life... THAT shit made me fckin cry
As a kid, my childhood dog attacked me and I had to get stitches. And you know what my parents did? They talked to me about how I can’t get in a dogs face and yell at them. They also made sure we stayed separated until I was old enough to understand boundaries. That dog lived to the age of like 17 when he couldn’t comfortably walk anymore. The whole time I watch videos about these horrible horrible psychopaths I just have to hug my dog. I’m exactly like you, Hannah, I’m constantly crying and showering my dog in affection because I know he’s not going to be here forever and it BREAKS ME. I can’t imagine ever considering putting him down unless I know I’m saving him from a lot of pain. I’m disgusted. People like that should be “Old Yeller”ed
You absolutely hit the nail on the head when you talk about being “inconvenienced” I’ve watched Nikki for YEARS and she is so self centred and seems to take pride in Dan doing everything for her.
I started watching her makeup and food videos back in the day and then just found I watched all her videos as they popped up in my subscription box. I unfollowed on all platforms after her anti mask anti vax Q&A
One thing I noticed was him saying "only I know how to take care of bowser" while completely and utterly mistreating him. It seemed... well, selfish doesn't even cover it. Tw: domestic violence, animal abuse, hoarding I was forced to grow up in a narcissistic household, where my parents hoarded animals with the same attitude of "only I know how to take care of them" while refusing to actually care for for animals, they're literally just there to be furniture. To refuse your pet a healthy home, even if that home isn't with you, is SELFISH. Complete lack of accountability, empathy, responsibility... and horrifyingly common. Thank you for speaking up about how you feel. You deserved better, bowser.
When he said he watched Old Yeller as a kid and it made him want to pick Bowser up by the back of the neck and kill him in the backyard, the look in his eyes was psychopathic. That movie was absolutely traumatizing, so was watching those two sociopaths feed off of each other’s sick ideals.
He completely missed the part where the boy didn’t want to shoot his dog but had no choice because he was rabid. This dog was not rabid, these people didn’t hesitate, he wouldn’t have even cried pulling the trigger.
I'm a veterinary student as well as an absolute pet lover. I cannot believe veterinarians just put down healthy and young dogs because of problems their owners refuse to address. I have so much to say about this but now I only feel anger edit: "old yeller" the dog? these people should never be allowed to have another pet in their life. their other dog should be rescued from them. also, the anti mask crap?
You can’t believe it? Look at all the people that eat meat and animal products every single day. Our society doesn’t care about animals, pets or otherwise. Every animal is a living being with the capacity to love, feel emotions, and has a desire to live. Go vegan. People are losing their shit over one dog being put down but they kill hundreds of animals every year through their choices around food and fashion.
@@jillhogan9639 I don't know about the USA but in my country I really don't believe it's that common. I have never heard of euthanizing a dog because of aggression... and I will NEVER do it.
what made me cry for hours was seeing the picture from the photoshoot with Bowser, he looked so fucking happy and then to know that he was going to the rainbow bridge a few moments later.... it makes me sick.
We recently had to put down our adopted dog at 10+ years who was blind, deaf, and having epileptic fits and I STILL felt so much guilt for making that decision. I can't imagine the type of person who can sleep at night knowing they killed an innocent animal for no reason.
I saw a great quote (though I may not have it exactly right) that says “you’ve taken away your pets pain and selflessly made it your own instead” I’m sorry for your loss
if your dog was that sick then you did it a favor. nothing should have to live like that and i see too many people put their selfish feelings before their pets actual physical suffering.
We had to put down our dog that was 17, she could hardly walk anymore from arthritis and couldnt control her bladder or see. It was the hardest thing we had ever done as family. I miss her everyday bc I grew up with her. My dad felt so guilty and I have to still comfort him and tell him we made the right choice even though it's been a year because her quality of life was just so bad and she didnt need to suffer anymore. My whole family was holding her crying as she passed peacefully. It started raining and felt like the world was crying with us. I'm sorry for your loss as well 💖
I had to put down my very first dog a few months ago. It was the most heartbreaking thing I did to see her eyes fade as she passed. I still randomly cry thinking of her not being in my life anymore. I can’t imagine someone doing that to a healthy dog just because it was an inconvenience
I think a lot of us can relate to this! We had to put down my childhood cat because she developed dementia, wasn't eating, seemed miserable and we went back and forth to the vet SO MANY times in the months prior trying to figure out how to make her more comfortable before finally having to put her down. It literally makes me cry thinking about it - I can't imagine choosing to just kill a healthy pet.
Same here!! I didn’t have my son yet, but was pregnant with him, when I had to put my dog down because she became so sick suddenly…it was the hardest thing I had to do at that point in my life especially…because she was my “daughter”!! I didn’t go to work for a week and to this day…and my son is 4 years old now…i have her ashes next to my bed on my nightstand and talk to her often (crazy as that might sound). If you don’t think of your pet as a family member/child and have that type of mindset in taking care of them, etc…you don’t belong having a pet!!!!
I have three cats and I'll never forget what my mom told me when I got them. She said "you are responsible for their lives now. It's on you. Take care of them as you would anyone else you love." And I could never imagine anything happening to them. This story breaks my heart.
Oh my God... it’s SO comforting to hear you cry weekly about your puppies ONE DAY passing because this happens to me and I feel so crazy but my love for my 2 dogs is so intense❤️
This may sound weird, but the fact that they admitted putting down their dog instead of just lying and saying they rehomed him just shows that they 100% thought they did the right thing. Not saying they should’ve lied, just saying the fact that they didn’t means they honestly thought they weren’t gonna get any backlash from this.
It’s not weird. Of course they thought they did the right thing. They did the best they could. Sometimes people do the best they can and still fall short. Doesn’t mean they intentionally did something that others believe is vile and disgusting or that they themselves are vile or disgusting
@Death Omen it would appear their best is pretty shitty. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t their best. Your best and my best are different. I agree that they were irresponsible. I just don’t think the euthanasia was the worst part. They made worse mistakes along the way.
This makes me so sad. We have a dog and two children. We have trained our children to respect the dog’s boundaries and we have worked with our dog to be okay with the kids. We know our dog isn’t good with anyone outside our family, so we don’t put her in situations where she will react. It’s not that hard. They could have trained or rehomed the dog years ago. Poor puppy.
My thought exactly. I feel like they set this poor dog up for failure by putting him in situations they KNEW he didn’t handle well and then blaming him for not handling them well. 😞
And they said in their video that the kid like reaaally hurt the dogs ear and it was swollen for a month but they were like just fine with that?? Like they did nothing?? These people are awful just awful.
@@TheAvprobeauty I’m not sure I would advocate for this to children though. I LOVE animals but I would not risk the life of a child for the life of an animal. That is a senseless death of a child
With such a huge following, they easily could have just been like "Hey guys, it's not working out with us having our dog around our son. Would anyone with experience having a dog with trauma be willing to take him in?" if they didn't want to put in the effort to train him
Hannah, if you go back a couple of years you should look into their adoption journey. They decided not to go forth with adoption because the agency didn’t want them to show the kid on social media for a year. Ugh, I hate them.
I saw that part and couldn’t help but wonder why that’s so hard to do. Like if you really want a baby that shouldn’t be a problem, and respecting your child’s privacy should be a priority. I don’t understand why some of these social media “influencers” don’t understand that.
@@Sammy86Lynn I actually watched part of the video they talk about it (I could not make it more than 10 minutes) and she literally said "we wouldn't want violate the privacy of someone who isn't our kid". That really shook me up.
I’ve only had my dogs for two years and cry knowing one day I’ll have to say goodbye to them (when their time comes in the far future) and the fact that people would do this to a dog they’ve had for 9 years makes me sick. It’s so tragic and I physically cannot
I'm the same my dogs 2 he's my baby the thought of anything happening to him due to old age or illness breaks my heart!! I also have a 1 year old daughter aswell and as much as I trust my dog I would never let our daughter go near his food bowl or let her be alone with the dog because children do things that accidently annoy or hurt the dog! It angers me!!! Nothing has made me feel this anger before, poor innocent precious baby dog🥺🥺🥺🥺 also shame on the vet for going ahead ahead it!!!
I feel the same way. My dog turns 8 this summer and not a day goes by that I don't worry about him when I'm not home or panic about the day when he's not with me anymore. My heart hurts for this poor dog.
I've had to euthanize 2 cats because of terrible illnesses and I feel extremely selfish to say I put it off until it was absolutely unavoidable because of how much it would hurt ME. even then, it was the best for them and I know it but I still feel terrible. I just can't fathom these people just k1lling their dog for funsies.
@@laurenvcouto I feel you. My dog of 12 years had to be put to sleep 2 years ago due to liver cancer and I cry about him atleast once a week. Its the hardest thing I've ever had to do! And it was for his benefit as he was suffering, couldn't imagine putting a healthy innocent pure animal down!

My very poorly 13 year old passed away recently. The pain is indescribable. I will be hurting about it for the rest of my life. I cannot fathom what these people have done. What they did is inexcusable, it's disgusting, it's terrible. I hope that angel felt loved/didn't know what was happening.
I stood on my dogs paw the other day and cried for 2 hours after it. I CANNOT fathom how they did this. They need to leave every platform they are on and people need to stop supporting them!
Omg yes! if i accidentally tread on one our our kitty`s tails ,i`m wracked with guilt and remorse. We had to put our eldest cat down last year ,as she had severe kidney disease and was suffering.I`ll never forget that experience. These people are just vile.:(
I really hope this costs them their platform. It's vile, and nobody who does something so cruel and purposely spreads misinformation to justify their own shitty decision cannot be given the kind of influence that they have.
It was the photoshoot bit that really made me start crying. That's so unbelievably sick, PROVING you have no real or urgent reason to do that to your dog and then do it anyways. How little empathy do you have to have for an animal to take artsy pics with your dog and then do that to them. Ugh. It's disgusting.
I have an aggressive Dog. Shes my baby. Just takes extra care. Shes not a bad dog and I would never put her down. I also know it's my responsibility to keep her and other dogs safe. So sad!
Okay first - Never apologize for being authentic and getting fired up about something you’re passionate about - Never apologize for giving a voice to those who don’t or can no longer have one, which is just so important - Keep calling out hypocrisy and/or manipulation that’s happening in these situations so people can continue to learn and grow and hopefully unsubscribe when they see it Love your work girl! I think you do more good then you realise
as a cat's dad myself I know that no matter what pet do; you never give up on them, you do everything in your power to make them happy and if needed give them trainings.
My parents had a dog that bit me as a baby. You know what they did? Accepted it was their fault for not watching us and REHOMED her into an all adult household that knew how to handle her and her needs. And this was over 25 years ago lmao
As someone who owned a dog with aggressive behavior this is so infuriating, my dog bit me hard enough that it broke my finger and I still couldn’t fathom finding out we had to euthanize him. That poor dog didn’t deserve to die for their negligence.
They are both highly trained but both are certified for different things. It’s like the difference in training and certification for surgeons versus family practice, differences between doctors and nurses. All of the training and certification of the person should never be of question, but I see the point other people are making where if they went to someone trained for health inspection specifically, that would’ve been better
I have NEVER liked her. One of the phoniest, most awful "influencers" whose fire went out in 2011 and she still hasn't realized she isn't 15 anymore. This just shows the level of IMMATURITY she exhibits. But this tops the cake along with the whole adoption situation where if she can't make money off of it, then NEVERMIND.
Thaaaaaannnk you! I loved her about a decade ago but she literally never acted more mature. I unsubscribed from her years ago but would occasionally watch a video until the adoption video where a factor of them not moving forward with adoption was the not filming the child for a year. Since then I never clicked on a thing of hers, her sisters' (who I used to follow because I was a major fan at one point) or related. I honestly thought that was what this video was about. It's clear those animals were just accessories. Thank goodness their kiddo is too young to realize what happened.
My family dog was 16 with kidney failure and we had to put him down in December. It was so heartbreaking in so many ways. I can’t imagine just doing that out of something small. It so sad to me. Thank you for shedding light on this
My dog is sick right now and I know that we’re nearing the end of our journey together and it’s devastating. These people are disgusting. That dog didn’t deserve this.
i literally cannot fathom not loving a dog that youve had after 9 YEARS?!?! if my dog had to be put down itd be like losing part of myself,,,,i cannot even understand how she can be so emotionless about an animal losing its life??? this is so upsetting, i completely agree w ur frustration hannah
There is a couple of youtubers who rehomed their adoptive son after having him 3 years. They adopted him as a baby and gave him away 3 years later (becouse he was too much or something like that). After seeing that, im not surprused that people do this to their nine year old dog. It makes me really angry, specially in this case were the solution was as simple as getting a trainer, but still, not surprised
At the beginning of the video when you said Nikki does not like to be inconvenienced, I was like "I bet all my money this woman is an anti-masker." I was vindicated.
My current dog had to be rehomed when she became aggressive towards her owner’s new daughter. She went from scared and aggressive to THRIVING and happy with me. Yes, we still struggle with anxiety and aggression, but it absolutely BREAKS MY HEART to think about her being killed instead of coming home to me. She has saved my life and I love her more than anything. That poor dog had so much more life to live.
I have a dog that we got as a puppy who has anxiety issues. She would freak out when she saw other dogs and people and bark at them. We got her into training immediately to curb the aggression, and she is doing so much better and can walk by other dogs and people without barking at them. There is absolutely no reason to put their dog down for the issues they stated.
Agreed!!! The saddest part to me is that she would do things to rile the dog up and make it’s anxiety worse instead of sending the dog training the dog so it would be calmer.
they could also go to jail for animal cruelty.CA: "This statutes states that anyone who maliciously and intentionally maims, mutilates, tortures, or wounds a living animal, or maliciously and intentionally kills an animal, is guilty of an offense punishable by imprisonment in the state prison, or by a fine of not more than twenty thousand dollars ($ 20,000)" Bless Bowser
There is à french RUclipsr who was recently bitten by her dog and ended up in the hispital à few weeks after adopting him (he's an old dog who has had several owner before). And at no point she considered killing or ré homing the dog. She's training him differetly than her other dogs, and she's helping him with his trauma....
Honestly this whole situation made me cry. I adopted a pitbull who was 10 years old with aggression issues. It took a while to work on them but once we nipped that behaviour honestly he was the most kind, loving dog I ever had. The fact that they didn't even try to give this dog a fighting chance of living a normal life is fucking disgusting. How can you have a dog for 9 years and do that to them!
As someone who had to put her childhood dog down because he was in so much pain and his days were dwindling down already, these people can ROT IN HELL.
The people who are saying “it’s just a dog/cat” are psych0paths. How can you be so cold to be okay with k!lling a dog/cat? They’re living beings that feel and love just like us humans.
It's just horrible to think about a sentient creature like that, but then you think about what almost 100% of humanity thinks about cows, chickens, fish and pigs... And realise we often think the exact same way about other living, intelligent animals. Isn't humanity just f'ed up that we allow innocent creatures to be treated like this? But yeah, taking care of an animal yourself for so long and then "euthanizing" it out of what looks like convenience, claiming that you love and care about them so much, that's disgusting
As soon as i saw the pic of how cute the dog looked in its 'final picture' i felt sick. Our rescued great dane bit my face when i was a kid. My parents sent her to a shelter where older dogs go to retire. We'd had her years but as she aged she just didn't want to be around us kids. She was so sweet I'm glad she got to live her last few years in a calm setting with other older animals.
I remembered when my cat was viciously attacked by a coyote a few years ago and the vets had said he had no chance. I had to make the horrible decision to euthanize him. I remember sobbing the whole time holding him and singing one last song to him. I felt so guilty for months wondering what could I have done differently to save my poor cat. I can’t even begin to imagine how someone can just put a pet down so casually. This story made me so angry and heartbroken for that poor animal that offered loyalty and joy to them and they take his life then move on like it was nothing.
This entire situation makes me feel physically nauseous. I’m so devastated. That poor baby loved his family more than anything and trusted them with his life...and they just killed him. I honestly feel like they should be in prison.
As someone who lost two dogs last year (one from cancer and another from a stroke) I cannot fathom doing this. Its almost been a year since my second dog passed and I still cry almost every week thinking about it. These people literally have no heart.
My dog, Shimmer, passed away last Tuesday. We had to put her down at the vet. She was a white & light brown pitbull. She had a tumor in her leg that made her leg (soon both of her legs) fill up with fluid, which caused her leg to randomly break open and leak the fluid. The vet said that this was “inoperable” and they couldn’t take the tumor out because it was too risky. She was 11 1/2 years old. Her 12th birthday is in 2 days (October 5th). I think we’re gonna celebrate her birthday! I remember having to stay home from school bcuz I was so freaking devastated. I ended up getting sick that week and I think I made myself sick by crying so much. Nikki and Dan had no right or reason to kill their dog. The dog deserved a better life with better owners who’d be willing to put in effort to rehabilitate him and help him. Nikki and Dan shouldn’t legally be allowed to own a dog. Ever. Again.
the husband putting ‘dog murderer’ in his bio like some sick joke just shows that they clearly don’t care or think what they did was wrong. they could’ve just rehomed him.
He did WHAT? Uh that shit is disgusting 🤢
The husband said he didn’t want to rehome him cause no one knew how to take care of the dog just him sooo stupid
He put that in his bio?!?!?!
That's so fucking disgusting, it makes me sick and just angry, how people even think of doing stuff like that just is BONKERS to me
Wait WHAT
It basically sounds to me like they neglected their dog's issues for almost a decade, and then k*lled it when they found the "perfect" excuse. Especially if the dog was with them since birth, and if it was attacked as a puppy, the logical thing to do is go through some proper training. Poor pup didn't deserve this sh*t. What vile people.
Couldn’t agree more. Well said. This story makes me so sad.
I know and they said they wouldn’t really let it out of the house. So you have a dog with aggression issues STUCK inside for who knows how long LIKE...???? These people make me sick. Absolutely disgusting.
It sure sounds like that. They failed, simply as that
@@namedshelby what were they supposed to do?
I’m still grieving the loss of my dog almost a decade later. What they did is absolutely disgusting.

I know!! It was so evil she was trying not to laugh it was disgusting
The fact that they did a photo shoot before his murder is so sick and creepy. It’s so sad how mistreated animals can be.
@@jfm14 I was thinking the same thing. I hope they never consider their child not too cute anymore! These folks are sickos!

It’s like they are trying to squeeze out the last bit of instagram content. Absolutely disgusting.
It was so bizarre when they told the story about their kid grabbing Bowser’s ear so hard that he permanently damaged it, but Bowser didn’t even react??
So you agree... your dog wasn’t aggressive....
Yes!!! I caught that as well. The whole thing was sooo off/weird and emotionless
Why were they letting their child harass a dog?!
Same situation! I got bit under my eye. I learned my lesson...
I will never understand why they just didn’t put up a baby gate when they fed their dog. That’s the bare fucking minimum.
that dog was murdered 100% - he was healthy and could’ve been given to a home who wanted him without kids. that’s terrible and i’m so pissed.

I just hope they get kickout of every platform, so they can't make a living out of social media.
My sister-in-law infuriates me because she hardly ever watched her sons with their dog, and seemed to think that they should be able to treat the dog however they wanted. NO. why do so many people insist on getting untrained dogs around their small children?!?
@@nihilismistheonlyway4680 Because puppies are cute and training a dog requires a lot of time and effort.
aggression is stress for a dog. a dog doesn't enjoy being aggressive. it's literally stressful, exhausting and painful. no dog just decides to be aggressive. it's like a trauma response/coping mechanism and to blame a dog for their bad behaviour makes me so angry bc it's just humans failing the animal over and over again.

I love you
Thank you for doing that 🥰

Supposedly? That makes me sick. I personally know people who have lost loved ones to covid. It’s not a “supposedly”. It’s definitely happening.
Scary thought: how is this couple going to treat their son when he’s no longer small, cute, and manageable? What about when he inconveniences them?
Right like I’m worried abt how they will discipline him....
I wondered the same thing
It also seems like a necessary part of parenting to me that they just didn’t bother with. Kids need to be taught that animals have boundaries too.
@@anyalaASMR yes!! They are animals first!! They are NEVER responsible for their behavior! When my dog is “naughty” i know it’s my fault, not hers.
THIS. HOLY. COW. THIS.
the same kind of thing happened to me. our dog was super old and blind and i accidentally stepped on him and he bit me. they didn’t punish him because he was just scared and defending himself, but they taught me that i needed to be more careful and aware of what i’m doing. we had to put him down a few months later because he got sick, but my parents never treated him different after that. i can’t imagine putting one of my fur babies down because they were defending themselves.
It's just so sad.
yes!!! I mean they literally CANT communicate with us and tell us they’re upset so them defending or nipping is their way of telling us they’re uncomfortable or want us to stop what we’re doing! that’s a great lesson for a kid
hahaha yes i say “dont fuck with her then???” lmao
I'm a dog trainer and I work closely under a 20+ year behaviorist. I've been dreading looking into this story because there were things that could have been done, especially over 9 years.
9 years!!!!! They had SO MUCH time to get professional help for that dog. So freaking sad.
If you look at the footage, you see the guy trained this dog to not have food aggression and you can see from the video the dog has zero good aggression. It's disturbing in light of these receipts.
@@bravergirl especially with how much money they have. They really tortured this poor animal for almost a decade because they're lazy.

Just like you would if you wanted to work on a farm, you have to learn how to care for different animals.

When I was a 5, the new dog we rescued snapped at me because I was too rough and scared her. My parents didn't get mad at the dog. They told *me* I needed to respect her boundaries and make her feel safe.

Also just to clarify we kept him for months despite his actions before my parents decided that we had to give him away.
Well what happened? Was the other dog okay??
Your dog seems awful I wouldn’t want to go near him
@@bradnowellfan679 The dog probably had some trauma that make her aggressive; no one gives a fuck about how you feel about it
I almost have the same story: my parents rescued a dog, we knew he was beaten in his past family but we didn't knew he was violent with dogs and cats.
Their faces screamed relieved, instead of heart broken.
omg please do NOT apologize for being angry or think you're overreacting. as a fellow pet owner (dogs and a bird) i have no words. i feel really numb. i appreciate you speaking my anger into words, because i have no idea what to even do
it’s so saddening and just their whole video and body language shows they don’t really care. report their channel please
I'm just so angry I'm crying thank god she can articulate it
I JUUUUUUST heard about this whole fiasco like 10 mins ago and I'm so disgusted. Can't believe they did a freakin PHOTOSHOOT and monitized off the whole thing. So horrific.
Where did you see info about this?
The fact that they put the child next to the dog for a photoshoot should be brought to the attention of CPS. It's fucked. if they thought the dog is a dangerous animal (it isn't, it's just under trained) then they knowingly put a child next to a dangerous animal. If the dog isn't a dangerous animal, what they did is animal cruelty. Fuck these people.
@@Chelseabee55 yeah the dog is sooooo dangerous it has to be put down but hey let’s put it next to the thing it apparently attacked for a cute photo!
@@brittaniawhittick1821 I first saw it on MannyMUA's IG STORY then came over to RUclips and watched LaurDIY's video
THAT shit made me fckin cry
yeah that....just brought me to tears. wtf is wrong with some people
As a kid, my childhood dog attacked me and I had to get stitches.
Why have you watched her for years, if I might ask? She’s so off putting to me
I started watching her makeup and food videos back in the day and then just found I watched all her videos as they popped up in my subscription box. I unfollowed on all platforms after her anti mask anti vax Q&A
One thing I noticed was him saying "only I know how to take care of bowser" while completely and utterly mistreating him. It seemed... well, selfish doesn't even cover it.
Tw: domestic violence, animal abuse, hoarding
I was forced to grow up in a narcissistic household, where my parents hoarded animals with the same attitude of "only I know how to take care of them" while refusing to actually care for for animals, they're literally just there to be furniture.
That part made me sick 💔
Fantasizing about killing your dog is??? Disgusting????
Omg old yeller used to make me cry so badly. The whole point of that movie is old yeller is their protector not that the boy kills him!
thats true but could you please not use words like psychopath and sociopath to describe this? theyre just assholes
I'm a veterinary student as well as an absolute pet lover. I cannot believe veterinarians just put down healthy and young dogs because of problems their owners refuse to address. I have so much to say about this but now I only feel anger
edit: "old yeller" the dog? these people should never be allowed to have another pet in their life. their other dog should be rescued from them. also, the anti mask crap?
You can’t believe it? Look at all the people that eat meat and animal products every single day. Our society doesn’t care about animals, pets or otherwise. Every animal is a living being with the capacity to love, feel emotions, and has a desire to live. Go vegan. People are losing their shit over one dog being put down but they kill hundreds of animals every year through their choices around food and fashion.
I was wondering about this! Does this happen often???
@@Serioslump as much as I agree with you, this is a totally different conversation. just as important, but doesn't really fit here.
@@jillhogan9639 I don't know about the USA but in my country I really don't believe it's that common. I have never heard of euthanizing a dog because of aggression... and I will NEVER do it.
I am shocked that a professional actually agreed to do that...
what made me cry for hours was seeing the picture from the photoshoot with Bowser, he looked so fucking happy and then to know that he was going to the rainbow bridge a few moments later.... it makes me sick.
they are so disgusting it's almost unbelievable
Its gonna suck when her kid smacks someone in daycare and they'll have to put him down 😥
Ok that was too dark but XD
Lmao they're going to put their kid down too
We recently had to put down our adopted dog at 10+ years who was blind, deaf, and having epileptic fits and I STILL felt so much guilt for making that decision. I can't imagine the type of person who can sleep at night knowing they killed an innocent animal for no reason.
I saw a great quote (though I may not have it exactly right) that says “you’ve taken away your pets pain and selflessly made it your own instead”
I’m sorry for your loss
I'm so sorry for your lost, I send you a lot of love❤️
if your dog was that sick then you did it a favor. nothing should have to live like that and i see too many people put their selfish feelings before their pets actual physical suffering.
This comment is so true
It’s not weird. Of course they thought they did the right thing. They did the best they could. Sometimes people do the best they can and still fall short. Doesn’t mean they intentionally did something that others believe is vile and disgusting or that they themselves are vile or disgusting
Ik i was like why are they telling us this?
even scarier
@Death Omen it would appear their best is pretty shitty. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t their best. Your best and my best are different. I agree that they were irresponsible. I just don’t think the euthanasia was the worst part. They made worse mistakes along the way.
She’s more sad over wearing a mask than un-aliving her dog
Normalize using the term "un-aliving".
These people are awful just awful.
i would run into a burning building for my dog. i love him so much. this story hurts my heart, i just can’t believe it.
there was an 11 year old girl who recently passed away trying to save her two dogs in a fire. A true hero.
Yes! Please speak on this too
@@Sammy86Lynn I actually watched part of the video they talk about it (I could not make it more than 10 minutes) and she literally said "we wouldn't want violate the privacy of someone who isn't our kid". That really shook me up.

Okay, but wait. That is such an amazing policy!! Good on the adoption agency.
I’ve only had my dogs for two years and cry knowing one day I’ll have to say goodbye to them (when their time comes in the far future) and the fact that people would do this to a dog they’ve had for 9 years makes me sick. It’s so tragic and I physically cannot

I've had to euthanize 2 cats because of terrible illnesses and I feel extremely selfish to say I put it off until it was absolutely unavoidable because of how much it would hurt ME. even then, it was the best for them and I know it but I still feel terrible.
I know!! They kept saying how the dog was dangerous and would hurt the kid but then had the kid RIGHT next to the dog for the photos like????

Okay first
- Never apologize for being authentic and getting fired up about something you’re passionate about
- Never apologize for giving a voice to those who don’t or can no longer have one, which is just so important
- Keep calling out hypocrisy and/or manipulation that’s happening in these situations so people can continue to learn and grow and hopefully unsubscribe when they see it
Love your work girl!
I still don’t understand why they didn’t rehome their dog??

Just a heads up... "He wasn't even a doctor, he was just an anesthesiologist." Anesthesiologist s are HIGHLY trained doctors
i was thinking the same thing
Yeah i was thinking the same
An anesthesiologist is a specialty field, but they don’t usually have medical licenses. This is why they aren’t called Doctor.
@@Author.Noelle.Alexandria but i guess they drugged the poor dog so they called a veterinary anaesthesiologist
She’s the one with the adoption thing?? Jesus what the fuck

Had a dog for 17 years she has been gone for 5 months and I'm still crying over her..I feel your pain.
the best “solution” is them leaving the internet and never owning a pet ever again.

I am so sorry for your lost. Your angels are now where they’re from... HEAVEN! 🙏🏼❤️✨
Ever. Again.
