Tal Rasha Meteor Wizard looks so good. Originally, I wanted to play Witch Doctor, but after seeing these animations in combination with a lot of toughness I play Wizard instead. Great video!
If it was me, I'd play Wiz over WD 100% this season. You can always make a WD later and farm up T16 with just 2 pieces of jade and the correct Sanctified power
Difference is that wizard teleport is clunky. WD chicken or unlimited Spirit walk movement skills from the Shukrani mojo is easy on the hands. Wizard meteors looks awesome though. At the same time, WD is getting 6 gargantuans and Jade auto haunt doesn't even need to press any button.
This season makes more different builds viable and i think that's awesome. You can't really go wrong. I love wizard but I'm going Barb or Necro because I've never done them before

I built it out yesterday to test it , it’s pretty great . I’m probably starting wiz 😂 Given , non seasonal I’m at 2500 paragon, still though running nice
I've always loved Tal Rasha, I'm glad it rocks again this season. For bounty and key farming though, I'm unfortunately going to have to stick with the multi-shot strafe DH for this season. It's just unbelievably fast. Also strafe impale is more... season specific than Tal Rasha is.
I swaped from Necro to Wiz after seeing this vid, I thought before that Necro Tragul was lazy 1-2 buttons play, but seems Wiz is the same with larger AOE... regarding the mouse, I can set to cast on side buttons or even on the wheel .
So I've just started playing D3 again on PS5 but didn't have any prev characters so I started a ww barb and did challenges 1,2,3 then switched to DH and claimed rewards for DH to try do a build but failed miserably, not even lvl70 yet and can't do challenge rift cause I haven't done a greater rift yet (way to low lvl and low DMG) so I'm gonna try this build instead, gonna go through the acts again and lvl up and hopefully, hopefully be able to get to higher difficultly and be able to get the set to drop for me.
I think for t16 rifts you'd have better ap management with the ingeom since that will keep your Tele off CD and how fast your going through the rift you wouldn't struggle for uptime. I do like the idea of aether walker for bounties tho. Either way great guide and I can't wait to test and try to optimize on my own in the season!
Thanks, I did cover In-geom whilst going through. Tough call, easier on AP and probably faster on a nice map with constant In-Geom procs, but slower on poor maps.
after blasting hundreds of t16 with both ingeom and aether walker, it's 100% aether walker for me. I barely ever have AP issues but I always run into moments where there isn't elite/rares to keep ingeom up 24/7.
I noticed the stats etc are different on the pieces in the t16/bounty planner build link than what's in your video. Should i be following the video stats or the planner ones?
Was planning to play POE: Lake of Kalandra this league, but it looks like the fun factor is with D3. This sounds really good. Haven't played Wiz since the hydra revamp.

Hey how are you getting the meteor shower on all of the procs? I'm using the mempo of twilight helm equipped and I only get the effect on the self cast meteor, not the other ones that proc.

Go 2 pieces of Aug and 2 of Guardian - I have nearly 3000 Resists and double my intel and damage not to mention many other huge damage boosts and damage reduction. It’s beyond overpowered.

I am wearing a RoRG and got really lucky with my Halo (max damage reduction), so I am wondering what would be best in the cube. CoE? or, I could use a Gizzard Gem in place of Bane of the Powerful and Cube a Squirt's Necklace? Stone of Jordan doesn't seem like a good cube option because no bonus dmg to Elites. The build is crazy in any event, I am just looking for advice on how to optimize. Thoughts, anyone? Good Luck this Season to you all!

Demons hunters had tops not too long ago when the god set came out. Be patient they never let barbs and demon hunters go too long due to the whiny fans
Try Firebird Meteors instead of Tal Rasha. Firebird 6pc bonus is 5000% which is a bit weaker than Tal Rasha with 8000% but I find that for T16 up to GR90-100-ish it's still enough. I use Ranslor's Folly and Etched Sigil for the auto pull. Use Tal Rasha belt + amulet for the meteor auto proc. Use Fire Disintegrate to proc Molten Impact for big AOE. Any 1h weapon will one shot trash and elites in T16 but if you want to one shot boss as well, use Deathwish.
what about using the vizier as your weapon and a meserschmidts reaver for the cube? kills reduce cooldown by 1sec for t16 would basically keep TP always available, or am I mistaken?
You would have to take out crimsons, which you could do as without Aether Walker you are less reliant on Arcane Power but it still might be too much to make up

GR115-120 I think fully juiced up, but you will have to use the GR spec rather than the T16/Bounty one. If you want fast clears with insta melting, I would guess 90-100 but have not tested that

What woud you recommend for a super lazy casual player that wants to do almost everyting with one class (Bountys, Keyfarm, Paragon and "pushing")? Also barb is very fun and chill this season. WW for speeds and hota for push. Good thing is WW is the starter set and the season theme has 2 awesome powers for barb
WoL monk is the best setup in the game for everything solo but is very dependant on good gear. Ignoring that, DH is going to be the strongest choice, barb second. WD and necro will both be good with auto haunt and trag'oul nova and I think the firebird arcane missile will be faster for t16 and bounties than talrasha for wiz. I know nothing about crusader.
It's much smoother with perma teleport rather than teleport every 1-2 seconds. I did discuss in-goem in the options as potentially being better for keys, but if you want run a different weapon choice - go for it
I played aether walker but find myself running out of resource even without RCR. I also find it slightly clunky with the time delay for the meteors but can't use the thunder because I have storm armour on. Anyone have any suggestions?
You should also use the wormhole rune if going aether that helps a lot with resource and also resource cost red on gear and topaz on helm. You can also use some skills that reduce ap cost of skills like diamon skin/prism and/or the familiar with arcanot regens a lot.
Seems legit. I’d drop aughilds for guardians and prioritize resource cost reduction rolls. The guardians will make up dps for t16. This will be the first season I started wiz in ages. I STILL have more hours played on wiz in the d3 vanilla days than the last 6 or so years combined on all other characters. Lol
It doesn't really benefit from any, at higher GRs the Storm Armor one will increase your times slightly. Bit of bummer, but also, it makes it a great starter build
yup it is... playing on PS5 and my wiz is already crushing. You just need to use a few skills at the start to get your 4 stacks up then its off to spam town.
I tried a lightning rune build like this but with an echoing fury which is pretty fun, you can spam them like crazy. I went with magic weapon, black hole instead of explosive blast and frost nova. It can still do 100+ gr in like ~3mins
The only thing making me shy away from trying this is the fact that there is no season theme bonus for this set. That feels like a real missed opportunity. Sure it might be massively OP if they did that, but who cares? Bots control the leaderboards, let the players who want to play who are not hardcore have fun. D4 is coming next year it looks like, so the shelf life of this game is not long. I really don't want another strafe build, and they nerfed Inna, and this was looking fun but I am hesitant now. Honestly, I want them to bring back ethereals. That was a really fun season.
yea a season bonus for this set would have put it on par with nova necro and maybe bell monk this season, but those are def going to be the highest pushers and impale DH for speeds..

The total opposite. Press the 4 buttons to get the stacks rolling and all you do after that is hold down meteor and it keeps up the 4 stacks with teleport

Vizier is 2h, so wouldnt be able to get orb in OF.

@@Sphynx00 I don’t think teleport counts as moving for hexing pants - like how it doesn’t for pick up radius. But I could be wrong on that 🤷🏻♂️
why not use manald heal with the lightning rune?
how is you teleport resetting so fast in the Speed GR ? going off the guide you put up theres no passive listed that would reset it :/

Familiar, Sparkflint / lightning armour, power of the storm / cold meteors and then teleport, calamity. Constant 4 stacks, no issues

You rely on self cast meteors so I'm not sure that this is an issue for the build

Isn't that the whole reason to play Diablo?
@@Simpie32 Half the screen is blue meteors, that's a big no for me. My playstyle is not having the game look like i am in the movie "Water World" Other classes to play ;)

Fair enough, there is certainly a lot of visual clutter with the build. A pro for some, but not for everyone. Good luck with what you roll Gary :-)
