Hello Ooni, I would like to ask if you have any solutions for the upper thread not feeding while sewing, in a sense that the needle is moving and not sewing, upon checking everything I saw that the upper thread up to the tension nozzle doesn’t move, hence the upper thread not feeding any to the machine. Hello, thank you for this informative video, my needle works fine on power when the front cover is removed. I had timing issues, so to rectify it had to open the machine up. Now that I am putting the cover back , the motor runs but the needle doesn't ! Also the bobbin still skips some stitches in between . I tried my best to get the timing right.

Hi! I have a problem with checkpoint 3 but with the thread pickup lever. The machine won't sew cause the lever can't pull the thread. It's stuck and won't move. I don't think it has anything to do with the thread tension controller cause I already tried loosening it and it still won't work. 😞 Do you have any idea how to repair this?

Jessa have you followed all the set up steps down to a tee? 9/10 times I have seen it's a set up problem. There are no compromises on the set up I'm afraid.

After doing most of your tutorials but until now i can't fix it. My machine produce unusual sound then the needle is not moving. I dont know what you call these part but it been stock, the purple rolling one
If nothing works, please don't waste your time and energy on the machine. There are too many people suffering due to a bad product. Try to get rid of the machine and invest in a full-sized sewing machine like the Brother LS14 or a second-hand one.
At the very least, you have learned how a sewing machine works and this will help you go so much further with your next full-sized sewing machine.

Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately I have not found any reliable replacements. If you know how to use a sewing machine, please get rid of this and buy a proper full-sized one.

Hi, if it's a new machine, please return or exchange it. Clearly it's faulty. Hacks can only go so far, but a manufacturing defect cannot be fixed.

The thread winder pin doesn't go back to it's position after popping out. How to solve it. The machine is operating in that way, but by foot paddle operation, not if button operated.

Yes it's the hand wheel. Gosh gluing won't help, the torque will break it again. Is it quite broken?

Hi! Can someone help me with my sewing machine too? The tips on this channel are not working huhuhu. Im a garment major but this sewing machine is plastic so I only know few ways on how to fix minor problems with this machine. But my problem is that the gear inside the lever wheel broke. It is plastic so I cant find any substitute on the internet. I tried to fix it many times with the techniques on this vid but it doesnt really work. I also tried to superglue the broken gear but nothing chamged. I hope someone could help me bc this has a sentimental value to me for its with me for almost 4 yrs

Our machine powers up and all the connections are good but it sews with a chugging type movement. On for a second off for a second. Very on beat. Any ideas?
Hi Jon, sounds like a faulty machine and I'd return it for a refund. Really the only reason why it would be a suitable investment is if you know absolutely nothing about sewing at all. Even if you're aware of the basic anatomy of a sewing machine, I would always recommend buying a full-sized one. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi Marla, is the gear cracked? If so, I'm afraid it won't do its job. These are such cheap, basic machines. If I were you, I would not buy another mini sewing machine. Instead, I would save some money and invest in a second-hand/used full sized sewing machine like the LS14.

Excuse me from the side. If it doesn't work at all or runs very slowly, try using dry batteries as the power source. If it runs on dry batteries, the cause is the AC adapter, so you'll need to replace the AC adapter. Commercially available products can also be used if the specifications are matched.

@@OoniCrafts the plastic purple ...I still have d string
The purple bit is essentially a nut and bolt system. The nut sits inside the machine. I imagine your machine's bolt is missing. If your machine is old, you could open the machine, find the loose nut, go and get a bolt the same size. You will need to use the original tension plates and spring though. Hope this helps.

You did the right thing. If you already know how to use a sewing machine, there is no need to buy this one. Always try using a bigger proper sewing machine.
