I mean according to the RUclips stats boys heavily outnumber the girls (I don't really care who's watching the videos as long as they are enjoyed but its 80.4% guys to 19.6% girls) also there was a video called “Sam and Max gay moments” a couple months back that got recommended to hundreds of thousands of people and brought a lot of people into the community in fact it’s one of the reasons that I got into the community as well (I am a guy though)

But in this instance, it is possible they are gay (I was even first skeptical and assumed it was fangirls being fangirls) Mostly because the sheer amount of jokes of Sam and Max being gay in the series. There are multiple 20+ minute video compilations worth of them (not even counting the show) There's just so many constant gay jokes that it gets hard to deny. I mean, it could be just jokes, but there's just a insanely alot of them
