If he can shrug off the influence of the Bright Lord in seconds, he is most likely the smartest and most iron willed Orc in the world. …Well maybe not smart since he played his cards kinda early but he’s definitely got spirit.
I never watched any Lord of the Rings movies. I played this game purely because of this side of the game. I thought the army building function was so cool. Having different classes, assigning ranks, and being able to give them different roles. And then having betrayal and nemesis functions too. This was one of the most fun games I have ever played.
Yea it felt like assassins creed but if you could make an army and basically have a chaos mode on where anything could happen like one second you taking in the sites and next second your getting attacked by a drake but it was an amazing game
You have no idea how happy this made me as it shows how random and content filled Shadow of War is, and that people are still playing it. I really wish they continue the franchise with more characters and events and take their time to land yet another masterpiece, as it has alot of potential and the creators were superb, the story, characters, voice actors and music were all 10/10
I once had a captain cheat death and ambush me. I kinda liked him talking like he's a Nurgle devotee, so i recruited him. Then, after about 30 minutes he betrayed me, so i wanted to get revenge by constantly shaming him. But the first time i try to do that, he totally wrecks me. I then give him a fair fight, but miss the last execution QTE, so he escapes. I try again, but he actually kills me because of No Chance and gets elevated to Warchief.
I had a couple situations like that. Probably my most frustrating was one of the Overlords that was a drunkard, but had immunities to EVERYTHING. I ended up having to farm the archers on the sides constantly and wittle him down over the course of 70 minutes. I probably died about 10 times in the process (Probably 5 hours including the deaths). By the end of it I was so mad, that I let him escape, hunted him down and constantly shamed him all the way to level 1, then I executed him in the most violent manner possible. It was very cathartic.
I had that happen once there’s always that one you can’t kill they for some reason able to cheat death 10 times before you get a chance then some rando save him last second but it was an overall very fun game
I wonder what it takes for an Orc to break out of whatever mind control magics we use on them. Does it weaken over time? Does some terrible incident snap them out of it? Do they simply just start thinking beyond killing and drinking have a sort of epiphany?
I like to think that it's more of 30% mind control and 70% if they're willing. "Dominate" is the key word. You kinda give them ultimatum, serve or die. Ofc they'll serve you right after you beat them. Over time, it depends on how you go. Do they like it or not, sometimes we can get a random dialogue where your orc captain admires you.
