this is completely unrealistic. apparently his family told these stories to him. however since he didn't serve in any part of the military, he can't talk about his own experience. apparently four people were in the plane that went down into the ocean. one got out and swam until a passing barge picked him up. That is how the military knew what happened. There were no hand held cameras back then to show what happened there. these primitive people would have had to go to the crash site in the ocean, dredge up the plane, then get all these people out. They didn't have scuba gear back then, as far as I know. At least not the kind to get a plane out from the bottom of the ocean. then eat them after that. how realistic would that be. it would be easy to just go fishing instead, which is likely what they would eat back then.
