    When doing the straight edges technique would I do forward back and back forward knots on the edges of the shaped start ?

  • @AngelconSal

    Do you end it the same way? Like slowly getting more strings together until you have them all in the same knot?

    if you're making a brafelet with an even number of strings, what would you do for that? cut off an extra string?

    • @AlexInnovations
      @AlexInnovations  3 года назад +1

      In this case, I recommend checking out “Beginning Loop with an Odd Number of Strings” on my channel, and then adding the last string as your working string! :)

  • @HaleyBeth
    @HaleyBeth 4 года назад +4

    I feel like an idiot. if there’s an odd number of base strings how did you make the loop with there 7 strings on one side and 6 on the other someone please explain lol

    • @AlexInnovations
      @AlexInnovations  4 года назад

      Haley Beth so if you fold six strings in half, then take your working string and align it with the six strings. then separate that working string at the halfway point. this will give you seven strings on one side and six on the other! :)

      @@noaniep9491 basically only one side of your working string will be hanging loose along with the other strings, since you'll be using the other side

    • @AlexInnovations
      @AlexInnovations  4 года назад +1

      I recommend checking out my Beginning Loop with an Odd Number of Strings tutorial; once you have an odd number of base strings (one less than your base string count), then add that other end of the working thread in as the last base string! :)
