    I used to be OBSESSED with making alpha bracelets and keychains etc. Over a decade ago and I'm trying to get back into it now but couldn't remember how the hell I used to do it. As I watched this video it all came back to me! Thanks so much for making this it's so helpful!

    I've made hundreds of bracelets from bracelet patterns on braceletbook that are normal patterns. I have been making bracelets for a few years now, and I was always in the mindset I'm never going to be able to make an alpha bracelet. I've even tried watching tutorials, and I still didn't understand. After watching your tutorial at 1:05am in the morning, it has inspired me to try making an alpha bracelet. (later on of course ;) Your tutorial was by far the best out there that I've seen. Thank you so much!

    But yeesh, I dont understand why people are saying this is not helpful because you didnt go through evey single row of the bracelet? She shows you how to do everything you'll need guys... smh

    GUYS MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS GET THE RIGHT NUMBER OF STRING!!! i started a surprise red panda bracelet for my sister and i was so confused because nothing was lining up. I used the wrong number of strings and now I have to redo it 🙂

    Thanks for this tutorial ! It's really helpful ! I'm all new to this and I've already made some kind of braided pattern bracelets and it looked quite fine but here with the alpha, my stitches look like //// and the next row goes the other way even tho I'm pulling the thread straight up... what can I do ?

      hmm… maybe try doubling your base strings to make them thicker, so the stitches are wider and look more square than a thin rectangle! good luck!

    If you start an alpha bracelet just like this with the ends open, can you make it into a keychain after the bracelet is made or do you have to start by tying the strings onto the keychain hook?

    Alex I thought you could help me.What if in a alpha a base string snaps.I was doing a alpha and I really liked the pattern and one of the base strings snapped. Is there any way to fix it ?

      try putting a string behind your bracelet and kind of pretending it’s your new base string!

      I was making a bracelet for my friend & the base string snapped! I started to panic too, but I just glued another string on the place of the snapped string which worked out in the end :)

    Help! Can you tie the leading strings together with the background ones when you are setting it up? I did that but for some reason when I switch colors I cannot tie the string on say the right side because the string thinks it is on the left side. So when I tie my string, I cannot make knots because the strings are horizontal!

    On every alpha pattern on braceletbook, there are two different numbers of strings. For the bracelet shown in the video it says 15 strings at the top, but the picture below shows 14 strings. Why is that?

      i think it counts the working string as the 15th string! that always throws me off too :)
