here's an idea: spleef but Kan is right, your car is better. but it could be better in just one aspect, and someone else's is better in another way, etc, etc.
Character classes! Could have a lot of options for that: One is faster, one turns sharper, one has extra wheels, one can temporarily disable its guns, and the lime green one is totally normal.
Omg like his "over powered" vids, He could have an overpowered spleef car vs the other guys in their normal cars!. that could be fun :D give them "Respawns" and whoever lasts longest in the overpowered car wins.

17:36 could have probably made the mines stay in by rigging the thrusters up opposite. Basically the distance sensor triggering a thruster on the opposite side, if it does not detect blocks. Should make them tumble across the ceiling, I think?
Spleef, but there is a rumba, that drive on the ceiling (so it's will live until end) and shoots wide ray of potato (maybe you can try with a DVD icon that bounces off the walls like on old TV, sensors on each side that connected to XOR, that connected to challenge pistons)

Here is an idea, based on the pistons you used here, I was thinking of an arena where it gets smaller as time runs. Like right from the start, the arena gets slowly getting destroyed by pistons below/on top.
I have a suggestion. My idea is for you to make a walker of some sort like the one you made 6 years ago but the walking mechanic has something to do with power couplings. Also another idea is to recreate your very first builds ( ex: first car, boat, plane. etc)
You could try mixing this and the vertical spleef wall idea, make the walls out of cardboard too and have transitional pieces to go from wall to wall, or wall to floor.. Like a 3D Spleef Box

I was watching your last video and had a good idea. Dogfights but every round we add more weight. Seeing as how that plane was so difficult to fly it could be quite interesting.
Really enjoy the randomness. I think it might be fun having one (or two) dynamite launchers randomly throwing explosives into the arena would be interesting. You could use the launcher Kan has built for the ball mace.
Definitely should have Yuzei as a regular part of MPM going forward if he can make it. Yuzei is awesome. Also where has Moonbo been? Just conflicting schedules?
It'd be pretty cool if you redid this challenge but have it so buttons are on top and can be shot (or cardboard cars so that it falls apart) but the buttons can be messed with (like switches to constantly have you turn left)
Idea for future spleef: have SAWS on pistons or whatever under the arena that cross the map at designated times! That should be much more dangerous than random spuds fying around and it would make it extra hard to predict which parts of the arena are gonna fall off.
The reason the pistons flicker is because every time the creation they are on gets updated (e.g. a block gets placed or destroyed) the pistons reset and then update. It doesn’t change anything to how the pistons function, just makes them flicker

Hear me out, vehicles vs God. Three people build vehicles and then either complete challenges or races on something like race island, and then one person hosts the game and messes with the session settings. For example, you could do a boat race, and then the “god” changes the wave settings to mess with the racers. Or maybe car races but the host messes with the gravity. You could take turns being the host or do it like you did the Hide & seek or the spleef maps, with the different video from each channel. It would be a really fun and interesting video to watch. (Trailmakers)
Scrapman, you should give Kan what he wants. Make a Spleef challenge where all the vehicles have different quirks. change the tires, change the speeds, have a randomizer to change the speed. Make the wheels extend outward and maybe upward. Things like that.
Separate ideas (combine as desired): Cube map. Replace the armored glass with breakable glass. Make the cars capable of driving up onto the walls and the ceiling. Start giving Kan an engine with a 1 higher speed rating, and a 4th gun, but it still looks identical to the other cars. He will want another car and you can take his better car. Make all the cars look different so that it looks like they have different performance, but are actually identical. Spud guns on bearings that slowly sweep back and forth 45 degrees.
You could do "shark attack spleef" one player is drives upside-down under the arena, the other players are on the top with spud guns. The "shark" is trying to cut the players out before the players cut them out. You could make the players drive a "boat" on the top that is slower, with the shark moving faster and possibly wider set of guns. The those on the boat lack speed (but the shark has a harder time knowing where they are),well being able to be more precise with where they want to destroy

I feel like you could have made the drones look for the height of the ceiling? maybe painting the roof orange and have them drive towards orange until 0 then fall for a couple second and repeat. in theory if they always flew up until they hit orange = 0 and stop their engine for 1s they would fall down to a set distance based off scrap mechanics specific gravity.
Spleef Idea: Divide the arena into 16 parts and add thrusters that can barley make the cardboard Hover at the smae hieght so that you can set up traps. The variability in the weight that depends on how you cut the cardboard and the height difference could be interesting Or make it actually hover with auto correction (somehow) and itll be good too!

Do a spleef game where its just a gigantic arena, and you can make your own creation with the twist being NO RULES. Flippers, pushers, anything is allowed, 1, 10 or 100 spud guns? No problem.
I think we need to see a bigger arena with these drones combined with the multiple controllable spud guns on the vehicles. Not sure how the computer hardware will handle that, but it would be pure chaos.

It could be fun to have a setup at the back of the car where you have two sets of guns on either side of the car, so you are cutting out lanes as you drive.
I wonder if it's actually possible to make a self destroying spleef arena so that none of the cars have guns but the floor is still destroyed in a random pattern that always changes.
You should build a spleef arena with hidden pillars, that get detached over time So sections that have been cut out, but were still supported would randomly fall
I was hoping for Yzuei to show up in Scrap Mechanic, but as a fourth filling in for Moonbo, not a third filling in for Kosmo. I miss four-player Multiplayer Mondays.
Make a very colourful arena but but sensors on the bottom of your cars and make them colour coded to a random colour, then add a logic explosive and hook all the sensors into the logic gate into the gun pointing at the explosive. And to make it funnier make the colour on your car (the colour that make you explode) more rare than other colours
Because KAN keeps taking your car in spleef, you should consider putting an extra switch into only your car that wont activate for a couple minutes, and simply just blows it up as a trap for KAN
I think the pistons are flashing because the game tries to re-render them every time a cardboard block is destroyed. If you put them on a separate creation, I think they won't blink anymore.
Add an indestructible layer like 20 blocks lower than the spleef floor so the flying mines don't get lost. They'll keep shooting from below. If you fall you still lose.
Or, have more cars below, that only shoot up. Then when someone falls they still lose, but they get to drive around below and try to knock the surviving players out by shooting up.
I'd like to see this again, but no guns on the cars. Let the arena slowly dissolve away. You can probably get away with boxing in the mines about the arena, and having a grid that they can shoot through, but not fly through. They're pretty big, so the holes don't even need to be very small to keep them caged.
Make an arena that has walls around it but the entire floor extends beyond the wall and is held by a single block. Above the block is a spud gun on a 2.5min timer. The players can't cut out this block because of the walls but if there is no winner in 2.5min, the entire floor falls and the arena wins a round
I'm not a regular trailmakers watcher, but Yzuei really deserves more love in scrap mechanic videos.

yzuei fits great on the sm team, mb a super collab with moonbo, kan, john, and some of the other ppl
Play spleef in this arena with cardboard cars and cardboard thruster spud gun parts (to decrease the hardness slightly)
You should totally make hidden mines, or a minefield spleef arena, but it has to be random placement of explosives.
