Thanks for all the recommendations Brainsmasher. Best metal RUclipsr. I have been watching you for years, before HM, and should probably owe you money at this point for all of the info. Enjoying seeing you on the streams over there lately. I'm currently deciding between a Judas Iscariot or Negative Plane order this week.
Thanks for recommending Lycanthropy thats a great band and EP! It really Goes way back You recommended so many great bands thanks for all those years man! Svartkraft, Raate, Paysage d'Hiver, Mortualia to name only few. Keep up the great work and stay Safe.
Hey brother, thanks for all the recommendations, ESPECIALLY that Lycanthropy CD, absolutely crushing, had me scrolling discogs and eBay before your video was even over. Really appreciate videos like this because you’re so passionate about what you’re talking about. I’ll also be trying to track down that Adversam album as well, sounds fucking vicious. On that note, and the Seth record, if you’re into that whole Symphonic and Melodic variety of Black Metal, I hope you don’t mind me promo’ing here but my band Hekseblad just dropped a full length through Hypnotic Dirge Records, it might be something you’re into if you’re into Purple Castle Metal.
NoMensNo goes back to the mid 80s, and Wrong is my favorite album by them. They are basically progressive hardcore, at least in the early days. I love Watchtower, but haven't heard much Spastic Ink. It sounds crazy! I like all the Seth stuff, but the first album is the best.
When you Brought up "Generic" on the Lycanthropy EP, I like the generic stuff better now days, the more generic the better and I go out to my way to find the most hideous album art as possible.. I am not sure why either, just what I am in to now days. Now I am thinking that I should put together a top 10 favorite generic metal albums haha!! one of those bands being "Maggot Casket", yes.. the generic DM flows good with a band name like that! But yea, I've been there when an album or EP that I thought sucked then, gave it away, trashed or sold to only buy it again later. That Sepsism rules! Play that album a lot lately.
NomeansNo!!! Fantastic band. Such a great album.
Jazzy maple hockey boys.

Cheers! Thanks for so many years of support.
That is a tough choice, but for me it would depend on which Judas Iscariot album. I might even say I like Funereal Presence more than Negative Plane.
@@brainsmasher666 to embrace, of great eternity, and the dethroned EP. Going in on it before they are gone

Sounds like I ought to do an episode of the podcast focusing on Finnish black metal, eh?

I have had Hekseblad on my bandcamp wishlist (will check out soon) for a few weeks now after seeing the dear Eric Wing praise it so highly.
@@brainsmasher666 Eric’s the best, hope you dig it
