@@julianshepherd2038 - The last time I was in the store PetCo, there was a man there with a large pet iguana riding on his shoulders. It had a little harness on, but didn't seem to need it as it completely content to stay put and watch the world go by. I was not aware that iguanas could form that close a bond with a people. Very cool!
I converse in meows with my cat. The tone and volume of my vocalizations are often involuntary and I don't always understand what I'm conveying, but we seem to understand one another.
Topher S sometimes, her meow sometime sounds like she’s saying “mama” I don’t know what I’m saying back to her but as long as she’s willing to talk so am I!
My cat likes to join in the discussion when the humans are talking and he will have feelings if you don't reply to him or run over him when he is talking.
My cat intently watched the first 5-10 minutes of this video with me. I believe she was fact checking. And as she did not swat my phone over, I believe I can say well done! I greatly enjoyed it as well.
Kneading is also for comfort: during a sudden intense windstorm, my cat jumped into his bed and started kneading like dough was being banned the next day. His eyes were wide with terror while he did this until I calmed him down.
Vegan Conservative - I have also read where purring is another self-soothing strategy as even cats who are sick or injured still purr. (My cat keeps promising me that if I fork over the treats, she will teach me how to purr......maybe tomorrow or the next day or the day after that. Meanwhile, keep passing out the treats.)
@Davvy Jannes Unwillingness of the cat to be put there wouldn't be be the problem. But even if the cat were completely comfortable and purring when you put it into the MRI, it would definitely immediately stop purring once you turn the MRI on, probably even if it were completely deaf.
Our cat, now soon to be a 1 year-old, was never really taught cat. We decided one night that he is: ¼ kitten ¼ puppy ¼ panther ¼ hamster All of them with severe ADHD. Turning out to be a Big, Strong Boy, who never wastes time by looking before he leaps. But definetly a cat, because of: A. The 20 hours a day purring loudly. B. We've never ever seen him ashamed of anything. He considers smelly farts as something to be shared, and displayed proudly with love unto all. He is awesome, and loved beyond comprehension.
Plant lady and cat lady here! Just want point out the plant pictured at 25:15 called “silver vine” is actually a Scindapis: also called a Silver satin pothos, a common houseplant that is toxic to cats. So please if you have this plant In your home, and think it’s safe for your cats it is not! 🙂
@melcasaclang4938 - As the video said, they do like silver vine the same way they do catnip. Only, as you pointed out, this ain't it! ---------------- People - many plants are toxic to cats. Do a 'net search for a list of them and if you own any, toss or give away to a non-cat home.
I know this video is over a year old but hopefully you'll see this. Big cats that roar do have their own type of "purr" that resonates from the same area. they just can't sustain it. It's called "Chuffing".
I used to have a cat. She hated everyone but me. We never verbally communicated, but after 10 years of being best friends we'd figured out exactly what the other wanted with just body language. I knew when she wanted food, water, attention, outside, to be warmer (she had arthritis) etc. She knew when I was upset, sore, happy, or lonely. She'd come and cuddle up to me when I was upset. She wouldn't even leave me to use the bathroom. She would come in every few minutes to make sure I was okay. Because of my autism, I'm funny about any kind of physical contact, but I never pushed her away. Then when I moved out of home, I left her with my parents. She was getting older, and I didnt want to move her around because I was scared she would die if I did. My parents told me she waited by the door for months, waiting for me to come home. After about 6 months of this, she died. I remember getting a call from my parents telling me she was on her way out. When I got there her organs were already shutting down. I had to bury her on my own. Even two and a half years later I still break down when I think about her. She was closer to me than any person in my life, even my family. I feel like it's my fault she died when she did. Like if I had have stayed there she'd still be around. She was only 10 when she died, and cats live for up to 20 years on average..... I feel so guilty
Just want to let you know, that isn’t your fault. It’s hard to be separated from your peoples, but cats can push themselves to be social and develop new connections when they want to. It sounds like your cat was content to wait, even if it wasn’t the healthiest things for her long-term.
Kinda hard to understand why you would not have gone back to get her when you knew she was waiting by the door...? So many stories about animals left at shelters who wait and wait. They are confused and do not understand why they have been abandoned. I am upset hearing your story as it was cruel ababdonment...Maybe on some level you actually didn't tolerate the closeness as much you thought you did.
@@prospectparktherapy1891 no. I left her with my parents when I moved out, because I was worried that the move would kill her. She was already showing a lot of signs of age, such as blindness, arthritis, etc. She wouldn't have been able to explore a new place well, either. Leaving her was an attempt to do what was best for her. I am hurt that you would even suggest that.
If your kitty was already having as much trouble as you describe it's unlikely she would have lived much longer than she did if you had been there. Cats that spend a lot of time outside live about 7 years. Indoor cats live from 11 to 16 with only 3% living to 20 or older.
Your post stayed with me so much that I went back to look for it (can't believe how many YT videos I watch). I wanted to tell you that you don't need to feel guilty (I totally understand that you do and that it goes really deep). My thought was that only some cat breeds live longer lives, but for others it is more like 10-12. I know it must be so tough to deal with, but you were a really good friend to her and your decision to not move her was for her benefit, out of the best intentions. I hope you can eventually let go of the guilt feelings and get to grieve for her without that burden. You had a wonderful relationship with each other, it would be truly lovely to be able to celebrate that! I'm sending you my very best wishes (and please ignore that immature ignoramus who proved that he's missing any ounce of empathy). I wish you well.
Is it bad that my first thought when you said "void cat" was "oh like a void chicken" Lol I also have a void cat but he's a tiny bastard,,, stinky boi who liked to scream for no reason, hates pets and snuggles and pees everywhere.
It's really strange that just an hour ago, while making dinner, I dropped some treats for my kitties. They missed one and I tried to point it out, literally poking it with my finger, and she just sniffed my finger for a second. Now I know why.
My cat was a Siamese, and her eyes glowed red. No lazers, just a super-creepy red glow. I've had cats my whole life, and at age 66, I found out that they can glow red. Weird.
It's the blue in her eyes. The Witchkins, my tuxie girl, had blue-green eyes and at night they reflected a diabolical crimson glow -- appropriate color for a kitteh with demonic tendencies...
I’m surprised there was no mention of cats’ Jacobson’s organ (the same mechanism snakes smell with.) When cats rub on you then lick that spot, they aren’t trying to wash off your scent, they’re picking it up with their tongue and depositing in in that organ on the roof of their mouth to get a better sense of you. It’s not as refined or sensitive as a snake’s but it another piece of the amazing sensory world-building toolkit cats possess. It’s also comforting to know your cat isn’t trying to wash you off, but rather getting to know you better.
Atheus Maximus cats are not useful. At all. At one time I had 3 cats and 6 kittens. Had many cats for years. Not useful at all! No not one bit. They’re a pain in the ass but I love every one I ever had. Would t change that ever
It's okay kitty, you can see a fly that's on the ceiling but not my hand next to your face Well I can't see anything clearly unless it's stuck to my face. Ah, the joy of myopia.
I love people who come up with thoughtful names..."Cameo" is very clever for a cat. Considering many make short appearances and disappear...I may have to steal it 😏
Mine are named dusk (black kitty) and dawn (light Grey tabby with a cream colored patches on her tummy) they are total opposites too. I think their names are pretty clever though
Aw, adorable, my kitty is like a 18yr old cathoic schoolgirl making you wait for marriage with her purrbox, so when she does purr I take more appreciation from it.
I actually have this picture of my cat where an awesome photographic mistake happened and...just ONE eye is glowing a solid freaky green. It totally looks like a kitty-Borg! XD And yes, my caption for said picture when I posted it was: "WE ARE HORATIO OF CAT. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOUR SNACKS AND PETS WILL BE ADAPTED TO SERVICE...US."
You will sleep on your pillow, because we will sleep on the rest of the bed. You will sleep incredibly uncomfortably, so we can nap exactly where we want. Reasoning will be futile, moving us will be temporary.
At least she did her job in a planter and not on a carpet. Those stains are a b!tch to eliminate. Altho that raises the question from a cat keeper: what was wrong with the cat litter? Most likely it was overdue for maint work (cleaning and/or change of litter filler). Other possibility is that there was something wrong with her. She may be upset or angry about something. Or she was feeling ignored too much and desired more attention. Altho peeing in another area is rather extreme, usually cats do other things first before doing something as extreme as that. Final (and most likely) possibility: Hank was making a joke.
One of my Ginger cats used to have red eye glow... most of my others have white with blue tint to it, but a few have greenish. But little ginger is the only one ive ever known who has had red eye shine.
Such a wonderful segment on cats! I love my fur babies!! Getting answers to questions you didn't even know to ask was a great entertaining way to know more about our live-in mini tigers. Thanks!!!!
@@ginettepagan3387 (continuing to acknowledge your experience, which I did not doubt or argue with at all), again: the fact that cats love a nice box even in sunny & warm Puerto Rico clearly proves that they don't care about the little extra heat in that box in hot weather. Just as you said. But that doesn't mean they also don't care about that same extra heat _when the weather isn't very hot_. They may not care even then, but "the Puerto Rico experiment" simply does not prove (or imply) that, that's all I said. So, the connection to body warmth idea may of course be irrelevant in warm weather, but it may still be very much relevant in cold weather. Which wouldn't be all that surprising either, knowing how much they always actively seek warm patches, surfaces to rest on. (Again, the fact they obviously don't do that, but look for shade instead _when it's too warm_, doesn't mean they don't like being warm _in general_. E.g. during our long continental winters my cats prefer their boxes with extra lining and some extra insulation underneath the box, if it's on a colder surface.) And, regardless, the "fun factor" of cardboard boxes may of course still be more important than heat anyway. (Not arguing with that either.) [Bahh, the (underscored) _italic stuff_ above seems to not work with punctuation... Whatever. :) ]
as i was watching this my cat came up & started making biscuits on my lap then curled up n went to sleep 🥺 also i love this video its obvious who the cat people are on the team haha ❤
If I sat down, my lap would grow a cat often. She loved to be with me. Purring in my lap. I had her 19 years. Still love her 8 years later. 5 years in, the allergist expected me to get rid of her. Think again. Love is a verb.
I actually have a kitten named Muffin! When we first got her, she LOVED making Biscuits, or as we call them, MUFFINS! She would even knead the FLOOR when I gave her food! So I gave her the name Muffin :3
The "our houses are too cold" idea is only somewhat true. It depends on the breed of cat. Cold climate breeds; like Maine Coon, or Russia Blue, tend to find our homes a bit on the warm side. Which is why you often find them in sinks and bathtubs. Those places are cool and help the cats get rid of some of the excess heat.
9:00 Hank talking about the first bone under our chin me: *starts feeling under my chin* Hank: You shouldn't be able to feel it from the outside, so don't go squeezing up around in there. me: *slowly lowers my hand*
We've got 2. A 17 yo Calico, (Meadow) who constantly complains and begs. And a semi feral Tabby, (Bub's, not sure of her age) The best mouser ever ! I let her out and not even 5 minutes later she's on the porch chewing on a mouse. Such a vicious excellent hunter. I'm so proud of her :)
Hank was so cute when he said he likes his cats purr! I was hoping you'd have a bit about primordial pouches. I only recently learnt how they really work.
I would have loved some information about tiger chuffs and mountain lion chirps. There are so many really neat sounds that these cats make. Also, I liken a chuff to a purr. The tigers @ the sanctuary where I volunteer, often chuff to people and other tigers they like. Also, the mountain lions have this weird whistley kind of chirp when they're saying hello. Loved the video. Thanks!
I did pet them and say, " You probably haven't watched Scishow, but a person there loves you," and my cat gave me the naughtiest look ever. Later that night when I was asleep, he went into my room, meowed, farted and ran away, leaving me basking in the smell. I love cats.
Oh okay, I always wondered why my cat would do that before laying down and then when it finally found a spot, it would suckle on the blanket or my shirt. It was so freaking adorable but yeah, their claws hurt when they do that.
My boy cat has an extra fuzzy blanket that he kneads and sucks on. I call it his skanket. This annoys my SO; as such, I refer to it exclusively as the skanket now 😅 My girl cat has no interest in blankets. Instead, she kneads her cuddle bed so hard it can be heard 3 rooms away.
I remember seeing a video of a man chasing a car while running on foot, & he was pretty fast. He had a glow in his eyes that implied that he had a tapetum lucidum, so I highly doubt that was a human...
It is true. I am from Cyprus and as an island that used to be a dessert, we had a lot of reptiles. Reptiles caused a problem, so they arranged for a boat with cats to take care of the reptiles. Cyprus now has a lot of stray cats that are taken care of by the population. Still, we have kinds of reptiles that are in our yards. We didn't have kinds of pesticides back then.
If my cat meowing mean she's talking to me like a kitten would to its mama cat, she must think I'm calling her mommy by meowing back 😅🐱 My cat: "Meow" (mom) Me: "Meow" (mom) My cat: "Meow" (mom) Me: "Meow" (mom) My cat: "Meoooooow" (mommmm) Me: "Meoooooow" (mommmmm)
You can try talking back to your cat like a mama cat would - sort of a "prrrm" sound. (Watch a couple videos with mama cats to get the idea, lol.) I do it with my cats & they seem to like it. Especially if they seem upset about something & are meowing about it, I will make mama cat sounds to them & they calm down.
I read somewhere that the 'meow' is pretty much reserved for humans -- cats don't generally use it to communicate with other cats. It seems to be a general purpose greeting / demand -- 'pet me!', 'feed me!', or 'play with me!'.
My cats all have very distinctive meows that sound like words. Calhoun says "merengue", Ray says "hair", Lukas says "brown", and Finnegan says "ear". So we came up with questions to ask each one where their meow would be the correct answer. "What kind of pie, Calhoun?" "Merengue!" "What kind of sugar, Lukas?" "Brown!" "What's in the ball, Ray?" "Hair!" and "Finnegan, what's different about Spock?" "Ear!" It sounds stupid, but is hilarious. 😂
I'm completely jealous of the students who got to work on analyzing the cat genome. That sounds like so much more fun than phenotyping strays for a population genetics lab. At my college we didn't even get to do that; we had to use photos of cats taped to the wall.
I chose this episode because my kitten is curled up with me and was curiously watching whatever I was on my phone. I thought she would enjoy something with cats. And I think she did. So, thanks from me and from my fluffy little cat. She gives the video two paws up. I do too. ❤
I love this channel so much :) it’s so entertaining, interesting, and simply makes me smile a lot when it’s cute topics like this that they’re covering
I kind of feel left out here. My cat rarely purrs, she does not respond to catnip and she doesn't knead. I've also never seen her eye (she only has one) glowing at night. She also takes control of the bed at night (I usualy pretzel my body around hers and wake up sore), slaps my face in the morning when it's time to get up and, if that doesn't work, she gives me little love bites on my arm. She was feral when I found her so maybe that has something to do with what she does/doesn't do. And I love her to death. Thank you for the video.
My whole life i have said "No human, in the entire history of humans, has ever adopted a cat. They adopt us." And it turns out I was right ever since I was nine.
Fred Gotpub when my sister-in-law went on vacation my wife and I came every day to feed her cat. The first day we entered the apartment to feed him he was seated on the living room couch with a lady cat, both of them in bath robes with martinis. Nobody said anything. It was an awkward moment.
2:35 Omg! Wait a minute... Are you actually telling me that's where Tweety and Sylvester come from? Wow! I'm finally learning something from your videos thanks man
Thank you, much enjoyed! Anecdotally only, at least two cats out of three notice sound recorded cats on RUclips, and won't let a keyboard get in the way of the flat screen to our desktop PC when a cat, usually of the domestic or small wild species kind, is getting airtime on video. Even though the audio is by ear phone, so the digital non-cathode tube image is okay for vision of these domestic cats, or kittens, of about 10 months since April 2020. The house adult of 11 is not as interested something without an odour to match. I surmise with little statistical support or control of specific variables over a tiny range of data collection...
Funfact! Cat's also react to compounds in green olives for a similar reason! It's so cute to watch them rub their faces all over an olive then spend 10 minuets batting it around.
whenever the weather is too cold we'll put my cat in a tiny cozy sweater and she loves it, she'll wear it for days. (and when i say she loves it i mean i know that by the fact that she doesn't shred it into pieces or try to take it off)
When my cat gets cold, he sleeps on our computers. We use old computers so it's no surprise that they can become heaters (or flamethrowers) when doing ordinary tasks. 😻💕💻
Thanks. I had heard somewhere that cats hiding in boxes was a sign they were stressed and I somehow understood that to mean that my beloved kitty had not been happy and secure in my home. After hearing your explanation i now feel quite relieved. I always provided him with a box, basket or large paper grocery sack where he could crouch and stalk and feel secure.
I adopted one some years ago, and that was the best decision I ever made! It was a male, and the moment I saw him, I said He's so beautiful! I gave him my hand, and he didn't care for my scent, he just wanted me. I brought him home, and he took to my kids like they 'walked on water'! My oldest daughter came home, and she fell in love with him, as did the other two kids. He was so cuddly, and sweet, but I spent alot of time with him, and all the kids, and myself, and he was the nicest animal I ever adopted. When he died, I went to a shelter., and got another. She is just as sweet
My family had a cat, Patsy, A small tuxedo male that was neutered late. He had a huge ego and was a truly great spirit. Though small he ruled the house. He was horribly injured and almost died defending another housecat from a marauding stray German Shepard that escaped a neighborhood house. While both my beloved Fido, a very delicate and feminine Persian, and the attacking dog (blinded by Patsy in the attack) died because of their injuries, Patsy lived on to beyond 20 years of age. He was the toughest, most masculine and self confident creature I have had the privileged of knowing. I said "great spirit" and i meant it. That cat was unflappable. Neighbors were adopted after they moved in by a giant rough Tom they named Beast. Beast was truly an "outside cat" but showed up when he needed a meal. In exchange he brought my neighbors presents, usually opossums the size of Patsy or larger. His torn ears and many scars were evidence of a life lived on the road, finding comfort where he pleased and bringing death to many a creature. Beast was the biggest "domesticated" cat I have ever seen. If Patsy heard the rattle of kibble into a dish next door he would run over and shoulder Beast out of the way until his belly was full. Beast never complained, just watching quizzically. I say all this, and there is much more I could say, to set the stage, to give you an glimpse of understanding into patsy's weakness. While Patsy enjoyed marijuana, he would come and ask for the smoke to be blown into his face (hey, it was the '70s), he had no weakness to catnip. Cantaloupes, however, were quire another matter. He LOVED cantaloupes, not the flesh, just the skin. he would chew it, gnaw it, wallow in it, and become hopelessly intoxicated. This wasn't a casual attraction. I have had the misfortune of knowing a couple junkies. Their craving for heroine and the crimes they would commit to obtain it did not match Patsy's drive. put one in the fridge and he would open the fridge, leave it open, and wallow in the smashed fruit on the floor as the milk spoiled. Hide a cantaloupe in the top kitchen cupboard and he will roll it out to smash on the floor and lie in it drunken and disabled with a dislocated hip, but not a care in the world. He would lie there, broken and disheveled, staring back up at me with this stupid grin as if to say "Isn't this great!" Almost 40 years later I still miss that cat, and i'm not a 'cat person.' He still visits me in my dreams. When we have cantaloupe I always leave some skins out where he can find it.
My 90 year old friend refuses to give her cat any catnip because she didn't want to make Shadow "an addict". I tied to tell her that it doesn't work that way, but she is taking NO chances. >
@kimberlyperrotis8962 - I saw a "NOVA" episode called "Cat Tales". It is on their RUclips channel right now (September 2023). In it, a researcher did finely tuned studies of the brains of his test subjects. They reacted to cat "meows" the very same way as they did to the cries of human babies. Those cleaver cats! No wonder we fall for them.
3:40 there is a legend of an extinct Chinese cat called the Chinese Lop-Eared Cat, that used to be a pet hunting cat in ancient China. There are records of this cat, and paintings too, but most were made by foreigners who did not speak fluent Chinese; which perhaps makes their stories less believable. If this cat did exist, or something similar to this cat did exist, there is a chance that it was domesticated separately from other cats as they were often described as being larger, with big floppy ears; an animal that closely resembled cats, but not exactly. There are also records of pure white, blue eyed cats that were lapcats of rich ladies, most likely because they were either deaf or blind as most white and blue eyed cats are. Thus they were unable to hunt, but were still used as house pets.
Our Savannah cat does like catnip but goes just as crazy for oregano. Also, while Shredder often yawls for up to 10 seconds, he responds to hi with an immediate short one. Recently though, he has been replying to hello with an uncanny sounding hello back.
@@kg-Whatthehelliseventhat I've seen pretty much all the vids on Savannah cats and Servals but I've yet to see a personality like Shredder's. I now have the cameras but having a time learning how to edit. Soon Shredder will have his channel. Btw, who is Jackson Galaxy?
We sort of own a half share in an elderly pure ginger female cat (long story). She doesn't commandeer cardboard boxes, but she has found a corner to "nest" in under our bed and spends most of every evening there.
I love my cats! Their names are Kelley, Saige, Senor Tippytoes, Wednesday, Pugsley and Morticia. I will pet them for you and tell them all that you love them. ♥
@@ZoidsNut Well I got Morticia first, and I named her that because she's a slonky void. Then when we found out she was pregnant, she had 2 kittens, one was a fluffy tuxedo girl so I named her Wednesday, and the other was a chubby tabby and white boy so I named him Pugsley. It was fate. I had no choice, I couldn't miss that opportunity.

ok but... WHERE IS THE BUNNY COMPILATION VID!?! SCI SHOW EXPRAIN!! WHY IS MY BUNNY SO EVIL! jokes aside, bunnies ARE the third most common pet after dogs and cats so i think that'd be cool
If you watch a cat with that treat, you will notice that they use those forward pointing hairs to "feel" the treat too. They also smell it for a while.
Never knew the specifics of the close-up vision thing, but I've always placed my cats' treats several feet away from it anyway. Like on different surfaces around the house, allowing them to hunt them down (and get some exercise in). It also encourages them toward certain "cat-friendly" zones and away from others.

Seeing Hank geek out about the adorableness of his cat has made my day
Don't you wish you could warn the old hank that he'll get cancer in the future? 😢 thankfully he's doing well though.
Our cat, now soon to be a 1 year-old, was never really taught cat. We decided one night that he is:
¼ kitten
¼ puppy
¼ panther
¼ hamster
All of them with severe ADHD.
Turning out to be a Big, Strong Boy, who never wastes time by looking before he leaps.
But definetly a cat, because of:
A. The 20 hours a day purring loudly.

I know this video is over a year old but hopefully you'll see this. Big cats that roar do have their own type of "purr" that resonates from the same area. they just can't sustain it. It's called "Chuffing".
Yes, it is a rumble
A rumble strip

Welp, free fertilizer. Tho probably a little too much, depending on pot size.
I think they should restudy the “If I fit, I sits” connected to body warmth idea. Cats do that in the tropics too during a warm day.
The Comfort Connection.
Hahaha
Tolerating the extra unneeded heat doesn't mean that they don't also like it, when needed.
@@lunakid12 considering that I live in Puerto Rico where summers can become unbearable, I think I speak from experience.
E.g. during our long continental winters my cats prefer their boxes with extra lining and some extra insulation underneath the box, if it's on a colder surface.)
And, regardless, the "fun factor" of cardboard boxes may of course still be more important than heat anyway. (Not arguing with that either.)

Have a half Maine Coon and can confirm.

I did pet them and say, " You probably haven't watched Scishow, but a person there loves you," and my cat gave me the naughtiest look ever. Later that night when I was asleep, he went into my room, meowed, farted and ran away, leaving me basking in the smell. I love cats.

"What kind of pie, Calhoun?" "Merengue!"
"What kind of sugar, Lukas?" "Brown!"
"What's in the ball, Ray?" "Hair!" and
"Finnegan, what's different about Spock?" "Ear!"
It sounds stupid, but is hilarious.

He would lie there, broken and disheveled, staring back up at me with this stupid grin as if to say "Isn't this great!"
Almost 40 years later I still miss that cat, and i'm not a 'cat person.' He still visits me in my dreams. When we have cantaloupe I always leave some skins out where he can find it.
Yer a Witch, huh?
My 90 year old friend refuses to give her cat any catnip because she didn't want to make Shadow "an addict". I tied to tell her that it doesn't work that way, but she is taking NO chances. >
I think the huge eyes of cats is one of the principal reasons we find them so beautiful.
Yay! My kitty responds to my "hey" too!
Have you tried the "sup" nod or blinky eyes? Jackson Galaxy talks about it.
I could look at pictures of animals doing the Flehmen response all day, it’s free happy chemicals
I love my cats! Their names are Kelley, Saige, Senor Tippytoes, Wednesday, Pugsley and Morticia. I will pet them for you and tell them all that you love them. ♥
@Josh Franklin thank you!
I presume that at sometime in the past or at some point in the future there were or will be a Gomez, Uncle Fester, Thing, Lurch, and Cousin It?
@@ZoidsNut Well I got Morticia first, and I named her that because she's a slonky void. Then when we found out she was pregnant, she had 2 kittens, one was a fluffy tuxedo girl so I named her Wednesday, and the other was a chubby tabby and white boy so I named him Pugsley. It was fate. I had no choice, I couldn't miss that opportunity.
I'm already smiling, thank you stranger ♥️♥️♥️ I love cats although I don't want to sound like an old lady hehehe, I hope you give these cats lots of love :)
@@funkysagancat3295 Absolutely! ♥♥ They're my babies!
ok but...
WHERE IS THE BUNNY COMPILATION VID!?!
SCI SHOW EXPRAIN!! WHY IS MY BUNNY SO EVIL!
jokes aside, bunnies ARE the third most common pet after dogs and cats so i think that'd be cool
Anya had it right with the bunnies!
Agreed! I want to know why my bun overlord is a demon! LOL I love her anyways xD
why cats are so adorable?
Hayato JP it’s in their genes
If you watch a cat with that treat, you will notice that they use those forward pointing hairs to "feel" the treat too. They also smell it for a while.
Never knew the specifics of the close-up vision thing, but I've always placed my cats' treats several feet away from it anyway. Like on different surfaces around the house, allowing them to hunt them down (and get some exercise in). It also encourages them toward certain "cat-friendly" zones and away from others.
