Happy New Year! I really enjoy your video's on old navy ships. I don't know much about The Falklands War. I will know more after watching. See you on the next one.

    Hi Andrew:
I'm very happy to hear that you will be doing a playthrough of Mrs. Thatcher's War. I own the game, but haven't played it yet. Also, great to hear you will be re-visiting Fire in the Sky. It's one of my favorites!

Great to see Oscar keeping things interesting. Andrew - I am curious if you plan any Jutland content? There are too few games on this topic IMHO.

Hi Alan! Hope you and yours are well :). Yes, I do play a fair few Jutland games, ranging from Avalon Hill's classic of that name to the more recent Great War At Sea and Minden Games' series. I've also tried out 'Hearts of Leviathan', which is a quirky but fun take on the dreadnought era. You're right that there could be more of titles than there are, and it's a fascinating period. Once I finish doing 'Fire In The Sky', the next thing on the 'to do' list is a Jutland simulation. I still need to make my mind up as to which one, but do feel free to suggest any you'd like to see :)

@@andrewchoong2895 awesome - thank you for the detailed reply. I just picked up “The Great War at Sea” from 2006 and it looks quite good. No matter what you highlight I always enjoy your presentations and thorough knowledge of great ships.

My pleasure, and as always thanks so much for your kindness. I'm really glad that you're still having so much fun with this channel. I've been playing 'The Great War At Sea' series since the late 1990s and still love it. Hope you enjoy the game - the tactical combat is good but the strategic element is just brilliant!

Hey Oscar good to see you, you too Andrew. Looking forward to Mrs. Thatcher's war. I have seen that game around but don't know much about it other than it is about the Falkland Islands war. Didn't realize it was a solitary game I may end up with it in my collection now.

Likewise, and thanks very much! This should be a good one. The only other solitaire Falklands War game I know of is 'Where There Is Discord'. That got rave reviews too, but has been out of print for a while and quite hard to find these days.

Hello Oscar! (from across the pond) 👋 I was watching The Players Aid, and a video from Alexander some time back, about Lock N' Load's Heroes of the Falklands. Haven't gotten it to the table yet, but I felt it was fortuitous at the time, because Heroes of the Falklands and all it's expansions/add ons were on sale. So I grabbed them all up. Alexander also recommended to me a very good book, which I picked up on audiobook on Audible. Three Days in June by James O'Connell. Very sobering book. 🎗️ Great job on your channel! 👍

Hi Rob! Thanks so much, as always 🙂Hope all's going well (Oscar sends his regards too!). I like the Lock N' Load series, having picked up their Pacific War series during lockdown. I quite like the game system and I hope their Falklands modules are proving enjoyable. Three Days In June is on my wish list. Another good one is The Battle For The Falklands by Max Hastings and Simon Jenkins. It's an older book, but it has aged well and gives a decent overview of the whole campaign. All Best, Andrew

Great update Andrew, we're looking forward to Mrs Thatcher War. I have a copy of the 1992 film An Ungentlemanly Act so this is a topic I'm interested in.

Thanks very much, Russ! Hope you are all doing well. I had forgotten I'd seen An Ungentlemanly Act (it was a bit of a while ago...), so thanks for putting that one back on my radar!
