Ben looks like a great driver. I cannot wait until he gets his success and gets into the show.
Same here, mustangs are a wild chassis to drift it’s not like a lot of the other cars and I feel like that’s what he’s trying to get used to rn, even James had his troubles last year, and he’s a 3 time champ. Ben will come into form soon for sure🙏🏻🙏🏻

Ben has everything a driver needs to become a champion. Composure, great mindset, and a great work ethic on and off the track. His attitude and vibe is incredible, and I love it. Driving the RTR Mustangs are a completely different beast - and when they're on kill, they are on absolute bloody murder. If any car can rep the "controlled chaos" title the best, its an RTR Mustang.
You keep doing you, Ben. We're here for it.

Kind feel for Vaughn, he built RTR for a few reasons but one of those is at the top and its the constructors champion shit. Sure, he wants one of his drivers to win but he wants the team to have success as well. Ben is a good driver, but to hop in a RTR is just a big learning curve. Deane is at the top of his game right now which is wild if you got thru his driving records. Looks like he is playing on easy mode some weekends.

@@ChrisH-li5sbhe’s a pro spec champion, not inexperienced. He’s a good driver, just his first year in Pro and a different chassis. He’s a very talented driver, you aren’t going to do good your first year lol

It's amazing to see people flapping their gums, when drivers take a few events to get settled into their cars. Just be happy you even get to see such fun events. It's not always about winning, it's about enjoying the moments that included you in the experience.

@@autopotatogun James is the Max Verstappen of drifting in general! He won Drift Masters like two weeks ago and then won that drift comp in the Middle east a couple months ago, basically every comp he decides to enter he wins lol.

@@autopotatogun They have a similar approach it seems. Max seems to be able to really find the limit of car really fast and they build up to staying as close to that edge as possible. James is the same, if he has a good feel for the car he can put it any where. He recovers super well and really knows how big the car is.

Man, it wouldn't matter what Ben did, someone would be complaining. He's a great guy with a ton of talent. None of these lads whining are out there at the highest level competing, like. Best of luck to him.
I truly believe if there was still qualifying to get into competition, Ben would be in the show almost every event. His lead runs are killer! But he also gets paired with tough battles for his seeding battle. But I look forward to seeing him making it into competition!

We all knew next year would be Ben’s year. Those RTR Mustangs are no joke, possibly the hardest cars to learn in FD, it takes a lot of getting used to driving a car that is actively working against you. I met Ben in Jersey, he’s a great guy, and he gives off the same energy Chelsea does. I can’t wait to see them both podium next year!
Ben will prove his worth next season having James as a mentor as well won’t be long before thay get the 1-2 still want to see the RTR 123 💪
Ben is learning, not used to the size of the mustang and the power of the it yet.. James is a drift specimen, he adapts pretty quickly but that's from years of drifting multiple chassis on different contents all the time. He's a freak. Lol. LET'S GO RTR!
I can't wait for Ben to get his big break and finally get a win! he's been so close he'll get there. Even James and Adam said after NJ that these cars are difficult to drive and take a while to get the hang of.

I think its a great service that Vaughn does for the community to lift up drivers the way he does, and develop them. Just look at Adam. No doubt Adam put in the work, but i dont think he would be at the level he is without Vaughn and the RTR team. Ben will get there.

It is really funny that no matter who the driver is, their first tear is a Mustang is always tough, but every time a new driver comes in people think they just suck. Like it’s a whole different animal to drive these units

People are expecting Ben to fill Chelsea's shoes this season but they aren't recalling Chelsea's struggles getting behind the wheel of the mustang. Ben has shown a lot of growth in that mustang and has a great mindset. I can't wait to see him drive in St Louis and kill it.

Ben will shine next season; in the last couple of rounds I'm picking, he will get out of that seeding bracket and into the main show. He is so close to getting there with a car that you have limited seat time to learn let alone step up to the top-tier comp to learn. He will get there and not many rookies in no matter the sport be able to have a massive first season either yet year 2-3 they shine just like Chelsea and Adam did in the same cars.

Ben's great! Those cars are insane and would take any driver time to adjust and get used to. Took Adam a season to really get the hang of the car.

the thing for Ben is, this is his 1st year in pro, pro cars are way different from pro-spec cars, half of the tracks don't get driven on pro-spec, so its a new car, a way more aggressive car, and half of the rounds it's a new track, he will get there, but right now its just a whole bunch of new stuff to get used to, the guy is a pro-spec champion, you don't win pro-spec if you can't drive, it wouldn't surprise me if 2 seasons from now he becomes a championship contender

People don't understand how these mustangs are setup too. Even LZ said it took him forever to mentally understand keeping the car floored in weird situations. Not a single damn one of us could hop straight into a new world, team, car like this and just kill it no question. Hell, Ben's doing better than all of us. He's got a spot on the team lol.

I would of loved to see fink in the rtr, for what ever reasons it didn't happen. But at the same time I'm happy to watch Ben's progression in a new car.
From my point of view. I wouldnt expect any podiums from someones 1st year in a completely different chassis. James has alot of experience and it doesnt surprise me that he got acclimated to the rtr pretty fast. Hes just on another level. For ben Itll just take real seat time to get up to speed. But hes looking good

People yap a lot but most of them don't even have a car, not to mind be able to win prospec, the natural progression is to pro, but he has to learn like everyone does. I think there was maybe, a little too much hype before he even sat in a FD RTR mustang, which made everyone expect Ben to be on podium first round. Give the lad a chance ffs people. Dimitri (multiple prospec champ)done the exact same thing as Ben this year, but nobody is talking about that, what gives?? Where's his hype train??

Not gonna lie, I was starting to think the same about LZ last year, then he won E-town. The learning curve with the mustangs must just be brutal compared to other cars.

What a genius I love how people think they knew what's right for other people when they are not even there, nor are they a part of that team or even in that sport. And yet they have the right to talk as if they were the owner of the company when in fact the person behind that keyboard is probably a miserable piece of s*** and should read saying anything at all because it's going to come back to bite them in the ass. Ben is doing amazing. Keep up the good work. We can't expect someone to join a team at a pro level and just expect them to get championships right out the gate. Not how things work. Got to learn. Got to see how these drivers drive to be able to make those decisions to be able to overcome your opponent and that that just comes with time and repetitiveness. I love watching your guys's page. Once Ben gets comfortable with the power band of the that car he is going to be a beast. he may not be on the same level as James or Chelsea but I do think he can surpass Adam when he drove for rtr
Honestly Mr Gittin, I don’t know if you will read or answer my comment, but I never thought Ben was not a good choice, with that being said, I thought that in his intro video he had a little too much mouth! Gotta be humble when you go play with the big boys, but I find his driving really awesome tho!! He’s definitely going to be a killer !

Hey Vaughn, Get the drivers to hold something very cold in they're hands while in the car. The hands work like radiators and will cool your blood itself, very effective. It is the same method for warming hypothermia patients. Use like a gym weight or something to try it out. Round shapes work best for max skin contact.
