For legal reasons, this is a joke, a parody if you will.
The only thing that truly quenches my thirst is splashing around in a target parking lot
ah yes the bullseye brand parking lot 💦
I checked your Tik Tok and I was stoked to see that Vein drum cover.
Target is literally the worst store to steal from. They essentially have their own homeland security division
Remember: if you ever see someone shoplifting from corporations like Walmart, no you didn't
Gaslighting is okay in this, and only this, situation.
I work at Target. If I see someone walk out with a case of water.
I didn’t.
Stay hydrated.

@@swimmyswim417 Ooh, whatever you do people, do NOT shoplift from Target. They do not fuck around. Their LP will tackle you to the ground.

Fun facts:
1. Many cheap clothing lines use slave and/or child labor.
2. One of the most requested items in homeless shelters is socks.
3. Socks fit beautifully in a purse or large coat pocket.
Learning is fun🤗
That's also why socks and underwear are usually locked up in department stores now. Same with BABY FORMULA 🙃🙃🙃

@@NIKO-gr7vc Yeah at least where I live it is in Walmart and target. Pretty disgusting.
@@brandonnorvell5369 Well if you wanted to feed your baby, you shouldn't have been poor
I’m confused, how does stealing benefit those slaves in anyway, if anything it negatively affects them as that’s less revenue for the corporation and less incentive to pay the slaves
Hell yes to this but also
a warning to anyone lifting from target specifically. you think they dont see you. they do. and they wont clock you till you've reached whatever amount it takes to slap you with a felony. It's a whole thing, be careful everyone.
Soooo... What is this magic number? Cause it sounds like I can steal just up to that amount, and then move on to the next Target.
@@eldritchteletubby9319 that number varies state by state. you could be stealing from one store or many. either way, they will catch you when you are least expecting it and will have a list of everything you did at any of their locations. It's honestly scary as hell.

i didn’t know you were doing music
this looked like a lot of fun
hopefully more in the future :)
I swear I thought this comment was from the perspective of somebody else in the Target parking lot.
"I didn't realize that was music you guys were doing"
I love when one creator I watch comments on another creator that I watch....and I was linked to this video by a twitch streamer. =)
Buut guess what? In my country(Georgia) some of the large grocery shop chains will deduct stolen goods from you paycheck, because YOU failed to stop the shoplifter :)
Not only in Georgia.
Capitalism doesn't fuck around and it isn't playing to lose. If someone is getting screwed, you can be sure it's not the big corporation.
thats actually the opposite where in from (california) actually most stores instruct the employee not to interfere with shoplifters cause if, for example, we grabbed something from a shoplifter they can sue us for assaulting them. when i worked retail they made us sign a contract promising to never interfere with a shoplifter and if we did we'd get fired.
@@bananabread112 I mean, that's just good for the people working there. If someone is stealing socks and ramen, they're probably desperate, and desperate people have little to lose.
wow thats absurd! Its not always so easy to catch people, the workers shouldnt be blamed for customers being sneaky. Its one thing if they always let it happen knowingly but how are they suppose to always catch it?
oh that sucks. Do you have any worker’s union you can join? It’s horrible that they do that to you
Fun fact: Hobby Lobby doesn’t have bar codes and they also steal artifacts from the Middle East
Here are 100 additional manually-keyed likes. Hobby Lobby is villainous af. It hit SCOTUS up for precedent allowing an employer required to provide employee health care to refuse to offer treatments or procedures to employees based it's conflict with the employer's religious beliefs. Put his religious qualifier on what reproductive rights by deciding what reproductive medicine couldn't do for you. I wonder if hobby lobby will eventually petition to remove the IUDs of new hires at orientation when I follow hobby lobbyists' reasoning along it's natural progression. They're the worst af.
Mine doesn't have cameras in the whole store, only at checkout. So its super easy to just take things
oh shit. time to go steal from hobby lobby
I have a big wooden negative-space octopus that fell out of a Hobby Lobby truck. But that isn't a euphemism for theft, I literally found it in the road near my driveway.
Theyre stealing it from springs and upselling by 10 000% so I think it is your civil obligation.
As a former CSM at the Big Blue Monopoly? Self checkouts at peak shopping hours definitely are always paying attention ;) and well staffed ;) and looking at people who are buying non restricted items for sure ;) oh! And TYPING the produce codes is MORE ACCURATE and the system is VERY GOOD at telling between organic and non organic product ;)
What a solid and reliable system they have established! Thank you for your service o7
(Self checkouts are supposed to have 1 associate per 3-4 units, however this is impossible so most of the time theres a ratio of 1 to 20 units and that associate is responsible for all SNAP/Check transactions and errors AND specialty trasactions AND manually checking out anyone who asks. As long as you Git Gud at scanning and dont trip the auto system with a restricted item [alcohol/sharpies/etc] or with an error, the associate Will Not Notice espiecially during peak traffic [Saturday/sunday midmorning-afternoon])
***hypothethically speaking of course***
when typing in organic produce PLU codes, omit the 9 at the beginning 💖
very good message but be careful at target bc theyll let it happen and wait until everything adds up to a felony charge
Good message? Lol
I was looking into whether or not shoplifting from major corporations hurt workers are not, the short answer I've found is no. They're hurt whether we shoplift or not, and it's kinda crazy I have to pay to have water in my work truck. A thing people need to live... Anyhow I found this lil ditty and just had to add it onto my playlist, what a great tune! Your name sounds familiar, and it's pretty likely I've seen your face and videos around but it's great to bump into this and I'll be looking into more work from ya, thanks for the good vibes! 😸
as someone who's worked in retail, i dont give a shit if you steal stuff in a bag, i dont care if you literally leave with a full basket, just PLEASE do not leave the workers a mess to clean up. it's not necessary to your stealing experience. example: please don't fill up a shopping cart to make it look like you're shopping while using it as an excuse to shove stuff in your pockets, only to leave the full shopping cart in the store. it sometimes takes people a full hour or more to put it away. stealing? good. creating more work for underpaid workers at an understaffed store? bad.
now THAT’S shitty, does that happen a lot? :(
@@abelinasabrina oh yes. very very often. and i worked at walgreens, i can only imagine what it's like at bigger stores. people think they need to come up with some scheme to look innocent, but nobody actually cares please don't leave us a mess
would love an extended version of this, it’s so good!!!
Yes! You shouldn’t just be stealing water.
Yes please!
if you see someone stealing food, water, hygiene products, baby products...no you didn't
(but also if you can reasonably afford to help pay for their stuff that would be neat just so that they don't run the risk of getting caught)
Should I not admit that I work at a grocery store and have "accidentally" not paid for many items over the years?
Slap a fuckn, bought by worker, or sold sticker, or whatever variation you have on it, and call it a day
Drinks taste better when they're stolen!
Once back in 2011 I had a pack of razor blades fall between the child seat and the rest of the cart at Target and genuinely didn't notice I had forgotten to ring it up. When I realized what happened, that same mistake magically kept occurring once a month for about year. They finally started putting razors in a case then. The jig was up.
No no no, you don't understand, officer! Here, just- just let me pull up this RUclips video...

Lol Tyler and I used to have so much fun playing guitar hero and drinking the Mike’s Hard we scooped from Target.
This is amazing. I love everything going on here
i’m a cashier at (major grocery chain) and i just want to let y’all know that the whole “the employees get punished if inventory is off” thing is propaganda perpetuated by the corporations. had somebody walk out of the emergency exit door with a shopping cart full of rugs once and our store manager just shrugged and said “oh well, that sucks”. most inventory losses come from perishable products going bad/not selling fast enough, not shoplifters
True but if the theft can be attributed to a cashier forgetting to scan items or leaving items at the bottom of the cart, it is often their responsibility and they may get reprimanded.
@@maximumoccupancy when i worked retail i constantly forgot to scan stuff and never got written up for it/nobody ever found out. really the only thing that we got in trouble for was if our register was short or over. idk about target but a i worked for a pretty huge fashion retailer.
@@bananabread112 If no one found out, off course you weren't punished for it.
some people in the replies are confused, maybe i worded it wrong: i was referring to the myth that if a customer (not an employee) shoplifts, the employee will be negatively affected in some way. this is not true, employees are not negatively affected by customers shoplifting unless they specifically work in loss prevention. obviously if an employee is caught stealing (cash or product) or intentionally forgetting to ring up groceries, they will be reprimanded or fired.
I hope the worker at the door will look at you bringing out unpaid water and ask "Water you doing?!"
Steal water, go get money from a recycling center. profit
Is that why there’s never water at the Glassel Park target
No ethical consumption under capitalism, unless you're consuming that sweet sweet wa-wa those bastards took in the first place
Capitalism leads to overconsumption, that's why there are so many fat people in America.
Note: if you get banned from a grocery chain for abusing self checkout to ring up chicken as "bananas" you may end up spending the night in jail. But it's the corporations loss. As food theft losses are tax deductible anyway and the odd bottle of water or chicken leg is nothing compared to their corporate profits they lose by banning you anyway. (Tho keep it unsee 750 because I heard target waits till they got enough repeat offenses to give you a felony, they kinda jerks).
oh fuuuuuckkkk yeah this bumps
This is really funny but also unironically an absolute BOP
I have to say that when I get out to my car and the minimum wage worker didn't ring up my paper towels, I didn't draw attention to their mistake, risk their job or $0.10 raise over it, especially when if noticed a mistake at home. Now when they tried to hide shrink by overcharging me on soda and (3 became 33) and issuing a partial refund with no charge to the inventory, that got me to customer service. Not charging me for water or paper towels... nothing compared to wage theft.
Maybe that is also because I spent years working at CVS. There were a lot of shoplifters that I didn't see
Moral duty!
I would only recommend stealing water if you REALLY REALLY need to

Also, don't drink bottled water. It's just bottled tap water most of the time and is held to a lesser purity standard than tap water.
Also, if it's Nestle Pure Life bottled water it's probably stolen from developing nations desperately in need of that water.
Why does it taste better then? I've noticed tap water tastes different depending on where you are.
@@Maddistrasza Because they add in minerals to make it taste more "pure", which actually makes it less pure. It's just marketing.
@@Maddistrasza there's also a psychological aspect to it. If there's marketing behind something telling you it tastes better than the alternative you're more likely to believe it. There have been experiments done to show that fast food served in its original packaging will taste mediocre to people but if you take that same food and place it on fancy plates and serve it in a fancy setting people are more likely to think it's delicious. A lot of marketing has been done to make bottled water seem more appealing than tap water, even if the water in the bottle is identical to the water coming out of the tap you're more likely to think it tastes good because on the bottle is a picture of a beautiful spring and some fancy words about how the water is good.
I loved this video, but could you mix the spoken word vocals a little more quiet next time?

Remember, it's only illegal if you get caught. And it's only a misdemeanor if you stole under $950 of goods*
*Check your state's specific laws
Stealing from corporations is great but this isn't that. When you steal from a grocery store they don't lose a single cent. They will pass off those losses to the honest customers in the form of increased prices for everything. People who steal are actually stealing from everyone else who doesn't steal.
But that's like illegal or something I think.
Idk, I'm not a lawyer so don't take my word for it.
