I'm glad you enjoy them and i appreciate your support. Thank you :)
Maybe in the future :)
My head understands this, I can visualize this, but when I get on the floor 1) I don't jump very high. I'm short, and my knees are bad 2) I have a fear of landing on my knee, and collapsing it. 3) My body isn't understanding what I am visualizing. I could probably explain it, write a thesis on it, but when it comes to doing it, I hold back, and I don't know how to rotate, get that torque going. It just falls apart, and I am FRUSTRATED! I'm as flexible as a rubber band, but something is not connecting between my head, and my heart/body.
Knowing how to do something and doing it are two different things. I'm sure you will get it with practice and hard work. Good luck :)
TheKlbrister just knee up your backleg after running then side kick
Practice makes perfect I believe in you take it one step at a time break it down
TheKlbrister
How’s it going brother? Did you ever get this kick down?
The flying double side kick is my next testable, so I’m doing the research now...
I can't seem to be able to do this too. Looks so easy but when I attempt to do it, I fail. When I taught my 10-year-old son, he managed to do it straight away. (He's a yellow while I'm blue belt) and he's been bragging about it til now. I'm 34, guess I'm getting rusty. Gonna try again and get my coach to train me til I finally make it. Wish me luck!
I feel sorry for the guys who had to hold the kicking pad.
Trust me it doesn’t hurt. I’ve done that before, it feels like being hit by 10000 pillows.
It looked like he got hurt... A Lot
So true 😂
It doesn't hurt as long as they break it correctly
But I sure it'll be feel some vibration
i think this is the most famous kick
Or most stereotypical 🤷♂️
@@coreysmith7476 Most forceful but I wouldn’t say powerful or damaging. Its more like a really heavy push.
@@mythrin ye I did it in first grade not knowing what it was I said it in my head weird my sister says my family knows martial arts but she tripping
I'm glad they are helping. Just set realistic goals, achieve them and make newer ones. Good luck :)
I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) Timing the knee driving up with the jump, drive the knee up straight first before you turn to your chamber, use your arms to drive up, etc. All of them pointers and several more are in the video so good luck :)
Thank you :) I'm glad they help and I appreciate your support :) I will do in the future :)
No problem. Really appreciate your support. Thank you :)
Jumping is on the spot and flying is usually done with a run up and you cover distance. Both are explained in the video. Thank you :)
Thank you :) I'm glad they help, good luck with your grading and i appreciate your support :)
Really appreciate the support. Thank you :) Glad you like them and that they are helping :)
ppppsshhhhh
right
That is a very important part
PPSH is a gun...
Vince Be quiet I’m trying to read
Really appreciate that. Thank you :)
Thank you so much, this really helped a lot !
I've always wanted to learn how to do this kick but never seemed to get it high enough. After watching your video I attempt it & In less then 1 hour I got the hang of it, and now I can officially do it 👌
I have never left a comment on RUclips but since It really helped a lot I subscribed and decided to thank you 👊
Thank you for you appreciation :) I've got a list of videos to do longer than my arm. It's just which ones to do first lol I'm glad you find them helpful and appreciate the support :) Maybe in the future :)
The side kick by itself is on the ground so time really is not an issue when learning the move. Where as you only have a limited amount of time in the air to do a jump side kick. Hope that helps and good luck with your training :)
Appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) The jump spinning back kick is on my channel under my kicking tutorials playlist so check it out and good luck :)
That's great :) Well done. Keep challenging yourself and training hard now to build upon that. Good luck :)
Crazy man!! Keep it up!!
Thank you :) Yea, it was three steps for the one at the beginning :)
Good point :)
Thank you :)
Really appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
Yet another great video
Sick Tutorial!!
It is. Just make sure you bring the knee around and kick straight. The most common mistake is starting the kick too early and scuffing the board. Good luck with your grading :)
That's great :)
Great vid! :)
Le agradezco que haya dicho eso. Gracias :)
Good luck :) I started just over 8 years ago :)
That's great :) Good luck with your training and no problem :)
I am SO impressed! I've been teaching TKD for over 13 years and honestly most "Tutorials" I have seen on RUclips amount to little more than the "Instructor" just showing off. You actually explained the hip position and how to release them very well in addition to importance of the knee position. Great job young man!
I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
No problem :) In my opinion, no. I always find that the technique is sacrificed (ie. made shorter, not chambered, tilting back, etc) so it is usually less efficient for learning and understanding of the move. With attempting it off the rear leg you can drive your leg up to gain height and more time to do the technique more efficiently. If people struggle off the spot they can take a run up and use the momentum more easily doing it off the rear leg too.
you earned it!!! ..Great one buddy
Glad you think so. Thank you :)
Appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
This kick my favorite kick.Thank you GNT
Im glad you did it bud.!
thanks your tkd vids always help me
Simply super , I love tkd kicks.
I'm glad that my first sport was taekwondo cause i learned so much from it especially the quickness and the kicks. Now that i'm into kickboxing i can say that i have the advantages.
Will do in the future my friend :)
The main one if you are doing a turning kick instead is to make sure you are bringing your leg around into a side kick chamber. It's all broken down in the tutorial so follow the steps/tips and i'm sure it will help you. Good luck :)
Really appreciate that you think that. Thank you :)
Cool thanks man :)
Very informative dude!
Thank you. This helps
Hi :) That's great and i'm glad the tutorials have helped :) In my opinion, not really as they take time to do and are telegraphed. If they are done as a counter to a move or set up with something they can be more useful and have more chance of being pulled off. I'd say i use jump spin back kicks and hook kicks more than the basic ones as they are really good for as counters. Hope that helps and good luck with your training :)
Beautiful, simply beautiful!
I will probably do something on this in the future. I already have a few planned, just have tonnes of requests at the moment and a ver long list of tutorials to do but i will get around to it :)
You are great!
Hi :) Good luck with it. Accuracy comes with focus, repetition and confidence of the kick. All the pointers are in the video, all that's left is to work hard and drill it my friend :) No problem and good luck :)
That's great! One of mine too :)
Thank you sir.Keep making more videos and spread the knowledge of martial arts to everyone :)
Mainly stretching the abductors and hip flexors. I have stretching tutorials that will help under my 'Stretching Tutorials' playlist and there are also leg control and balance videos in my 'Other Tutorials' playlist that might help too so check them out and good luck :)
thanx for the tutorial. impressive

This vid is awesome, I've watched it twice now. Really appreciate your explanations, as I'm a beginner TKD student.
No problem and no martial art is easy to perfect my friend. Good luck with your training :)
No problem and congratulations :) It's always best to stick with what you are more confident with as you found out :) That's great! Don't worry about it and good luck with your future training :)

You will be surprised with the similarity as Taekwondo partly originates from Shotokan Karate, plus the kicks are almost identical and only have minor differences across so many styles so they should help. Good luck with your training :)
Thank you
