Ending continued: Guts walks off into the sunset and becomes a great knight where he eventually meets up with Casca and they get married. Griffith continues to fight with the band of the hawk and finally gets the kingdom he’s wanted. And they all live happily ever after. 🙂

Those guys all died terribly but the way Judeau died was the saddest for me. He couldn't even find the right words to tell Casca just before he breathed his last. 😢
If Berserk were to be animated in its entirety, I think the studio that did Attack On Titan would be a good fit.
I think mappa animating the rest of berserk is a must if they animate the rest, it needs to be amazing
@@MokeBowl Nothing of a new Berserk adaptation by an official studio has been announced yet or even leased yet, but all we can really do is wait now for one.

I still need to go back and finish attack on titan cause it was quite good but I never got back to watching it after taking a little break cause of how intense it was getting
@@MokeBowl Mappa doesn't deserve that right, they treat their employees like dirt and cut corners to meet deadlines. We need a studio that cares more about the show than money.
What an absolute piece of art. I have to admit, I've never been a huge fan of this story, simply because it's so hard to consume and now it's impossible for it to end. This was an amazing compilation of parts I've seen bits and pieces of forever, though. I hope one day to actually see the rest, which I've only seen bits and pieces of, as well.

Bruh. The way Kentaro used all the characters like chess pieces is wild. Griffith, the knight and the player using the Bishop to kill the Queen and take the King. Guts being the Rook killing everything in such a linear manner is the perfect depiction of it too. Everyone else being pawns lol. Well done!

Read this series twice and watched it four times already, but lets freaking go!!
Zod coming in is what changed the game! It wasn’t a quick change for the raiders. It was a lesson that there are indeed things out there beyond our understanding and they will kill us.
It's epic forshadowing that Ricket was the first to realize that Griffith wanted Guts to join the Hawk.

There was an uploaded version that was mixed with this one and the new hd one, it was like around 8 hours long but had all 3 parts. I watched it a few times in 2019, when my ex asksd me out oneday we started hanging out every night. The first night she stayed with me, we watched the whole 8 hours, like i told her this is what i like and she wanted to watch all of it. I miss her, but besides that i love this anime so much. ❤

honestly, corkus and his dialogue are very overlooked. there's a lot of hindsight he gives about guts and his future, even if he comes off spiteful and arrogant. telling gut's that there's a responsibility to face reality, that guts is the type of man to "look to the horizon, praying for what will never be" -- even making fun of the thought of guts seeing himself as capable of being griffith's equal, and inevitably telling him that he'll never be like griffith. there's some truth to it all, more especially after the eclipse and what happens.
the eclipse more so exposes griffith as selfish and a betrayal. guts has been linear.

I'm new to berserk and just watched the whole 1997 blu ray version recently. I'm confused how to continue after if anyone can guide me. Also I have series 1 of berserk golden age arc memorial edition. But not 2.
The made a 3d anime that continues after the end of the 1997 anime. It's a bit tacky but watchable if ya ignore certain things.
After that ya can try the manga, evven tho the author of it has passed on recently
Im so confused as to the timeline of berserk. The show started where the original left off and then immediately started back at the beginning of the original story. I've watched 3 shows, all with the exact same story. Are we ever going to see what happens AFTER griffin becomes a demon?

Honestly it’s probably better to read the manga(if you haven’t already) bc it shows what happens but it leaves you on a cliffhanger

He will still leave. Guts always finds a purpose for his life and existence. Griffith was only a tool for him to realise what he wanted in his life.

Cuz the remake has additional scenes that the original didnt have. For example, the opening scent in this vid was frm d remake, the original 1997 didnt hav it...

I beleive so??? From what the berserk reddit thread says, this is the way to go, berserk 97, 3 movies , berserk 2016&17 (although a lot of people seem to hate them but i guess ill find out on me own) and then the golden age arc memorial edition

its a missing plot point that i thought was crucial for the show, but wasnt animated in the 97 adaptation, was animated in 2016 sadly with a new team that tried a 3d like version

No!!!! It's a 25 episode show with each episode running 23 minutes long. So that would be almost 10 hours, not 5 1/2. Just search: Berserk 1997 ep 1-25 English Dub 720p, for the full show and it will be the top result. Also if you don't want to listen or watch the intro or outro of each episode search instead: Berserk 1997 no intro/outro ep 1-25 English Dub 1080P .
But in my opinion, the first one has a better overall quality even though the title of each implies otherwise. Plus, the intros and outros to the show are actually really well done since they're famous hit songs and go perfectly with the show. I literally associate those songs with Berserk in general now and cannot separate the two! Lmfao
Also just to let you know if you didn't already, there is a 3 part movie version from 2012 that covers this same story's first arc, and in 2016 an anime was made that has 2 seasons that continues the story of the next arc etc. But I don't think they're on YT. At least I couldn't find them myself, they are on CR though. If you happen to have that app, just search Berserk, and you will find both. But be aware that in 2022, they turned those 3 movies into a 13 episode show called ~ Berserk: The Golden Age arc - memorial edition ~ for the authors passing. I guess they added extra scenes but to be honest, I re watched it and can't remember which scenes they supposedly added! lol It's been a while so... o well 😅

You can find them pretty cheap on that one big app (Amzn) lol, the original price is $50 each, but you can usually get them for $38 each or even cheaper sometimes. 😊
