I really need to make a trip to Russell County here to show you the similarity. someone in the interweb travels said our area is part of the same mountain range as where you are. must be part of that whole Pangea thing. you are part mountain goat. I would have fallen off those trails designed for ants about 15 times! much love to you, dear Blue

What a cool and beautiful place. I can see why Bruce loved it here. What was that one place with all the metal grates? Free snacks are the best :) Do you have any predators you have to watch out for?
I think the grated area was a salmon ladder. The cranberries were perfect and the few bilberries to counter the tartness. No predators in the UK, our wolves and bears are long gone. All we have to be careful of in some places is crazy cows that might charge and trample. But that's rare. I got charged at once in the pitch black walking back through the farm land after Badger watching. It was a young gun on its own, I heard it behind me, turned and thankfully it stopped! Our only poisonous snake the Adder isn't much of a risk. We do have one of the most venomous spiders in the world, but it's so small and delivers such a small amount of toxin it's not a problem..... like an insect sting or bite.
I'm thinking your brother should put GPS tracking on you. Since you're getting old and the air is thinner up there. Don't tell me you got that watch off a body on the side of the road.😁💨💖
@@michaelyates5976 I actually kept Bruce's folding ramp for getting in and out the van, with a sluice in mind. I'd have to be somewhere quiet or have permission. Kildonan Estate at Helmsdale don't allow a sluice, just pans a gravel sucker and small shovels.
The scenery around Braemar is absolutely beautiful. No wonder Bruce loved it so much. 🏴💙
