I reckon you could only be potentially done for trespassing if you were flying it while stood on private land and failed to leave after being asked to by the landowner. Same if you have a drone or not. They can't stop you from flying over their land from public though because they don't own the airspace.

I suspect climbing historic structures is frowned upon by most, but hey, I've seen many content creators do things they shouldn't for views! ; )~ who the hell is making the rules for drone flying? that's rather stupid... the land needs lots of those lovely Scottish cattle with the long hair and horns! the castle was removed in what way? relocated or torn down? One theory is the 1859 event 🌞💥impacted more than just telegraph infrastructure and it’s easier to remove these melted historic structures and disaster evidence than explain how it happened. 🤗💕🌌

I've heard of Douglas Castle but never visited. A lovely place for a walk. Plenty of sniffs for Max. The original castle was beautiful. 💙

We do have some nice castles and some in restoration. But the coal mining under Douglas was it's downfall.
