    Saw them and zz top in 72 or 73. Shreveport Louisiana. I was 12. My mom took me ,my sister and cousin. What a great show. Miss the 70s so much

      Born and raised in Shreveport myself. What an insane rock n roll circuit it used to be. I would eventually host house shows for band in the mid 2000’s. My father is at least still able to see some acts that come through.

    I played the 45 of smokin in the boys room at show and tell in elementary school in 1973 everyone loved it ✌️♥️ Brownsville Station Rocks and Rules I still have the 45 after all these years believe it or not 🚭🚭🚭🚫

    These guys were sooooo awesome!!! They had showmanship, chops, great songs, and most of all, a whole lotta fun, high-energy, kickass rock and roll...Michigan style! Brownsville Station...forever the Kings of the Party!!!

    I saw this on The Midnight Special when I was 14 years old. It was seared into my brain. One of the greatest Rock n Roll performances EVER! Thank goodness for RUclips.

    My father gave me this cassette in 1982. I was 7, the tape was pink. Dad has been gone almost 20 years, I still have the tape. Mandatory folded up paper to replace the fuzzy square that falls out where the tape head contacts. "Son, you're worse that your father"

    I saw kub koda and the points at the last ever night of the Stsr Bar in Ann Arbor. It wasn't until years later that I understood what I witnessed.

    What do you say about this Band.... Driving Rock and Roll ,these two guys can sing,the Drummer is a hair ahead and it is lighting this on fire with rocket fuel...Show men from a different time Yeah they were a party band pure and simple...good songs but on top of the times, style wise...they targeted young teenagers and we grew up holding on to them and the wild fun they projected... Love them!!!!

    January 29, 1973.....Milwaukee Riverside Theatre.....they opened for Slade. They stole the show!!! Unbelievable HIGH ENERGY! Fantastic set selection. Great musicians! All three of them were INCREDIBLE! The drummer Henry H-Bomb Weck....just AMAZING. Thank you Brownsville Station....and let your yeah be yeah!!!!!!!!!

      I know, but I found out that a lot of TV recordings early on told the audiences to be quiet and not move. Not sure why that would interrupt the TV cameras. Oh, maybe the sound would not come thru back then for the TV audience if there's a lot of background noise. Not sure, but boo right?

    The bass player went on to produce Ted Nugent's call of the wild, and plays with Nugent even today the guys one of these people people who doesn't seem to age the drummer produced Blackfoot's strikes album and cub coda played harmonica on it.
