This game is so cool yet so weird too, with SMGs and the like basically being melee weapons. What governs the chance of your skills activating? It seems to be just sheer dumb luck with the possible exception of that guide/duel system (of which I don't know the difference? I think Guide is for the Long Range systems whereas Duel is for the smg's and the like, except for melee?) Thanks for the no commentary, it's refreshing imo to see a game being played well without someone talking over everything (earned yourself a subscribe for that).
Front Mission games are very strange, thats for sure. The first 2 are really odd in how weapons work, but 3 changes it to more how you would guess it would work. However, the skills triggering is still random. Honestly, for as much as I like these games, the inner workings and rng is still a mystery to me, so I've never really attempted a guide. IF 3s remake comes out, I might do a guide on that one given that I know it rather well. In any case, glad to have you subbed. Appreciate you!
@@giovannivsc8411 That is a VERY fair point. I actually had a video up that was explaining how different stats work and some ideas for builds, but I was not happy at all with the quality of the video as I had rushed it. The biggest tip I can give you is look at the way character stats grow. I would recommend leaning into those areas.
Can't read any text. Video is too blurry. Thumbs down
It's uploaded in 1080. Maybe check your settings

Why Skip shoppin time ?
I wasn't sure if it would be interesting. I spent a lot of time in the shop trying to min max parts.
@@PlayingQuietly it was precisely this part that I wanted to see the most hahaha, I have a hard time choosing the best builds
