I've purchased the TT Evo and the Night Timber primarily for their STOL performance. Many poo pah the slats but I'm a firm believer in their effectiveness. Aerobatics can still be done well and it's up to the operator to learn to compensate for any slat caused differences. Thanks for the action and well done.
What sort of noticeable difference can be had with the slats? does it just improve slow speeds? How about turning for landing at slow speeds with the slats on? Thanks
Nice flying, i was hoping to see you try the reverse power on touch down, i know this is two years old but I was wondering what is your opinion of the wing slats, with or without?

You are a master in landings. I have now tried a couple but almost every one ended in a rough way/crash with broken parts (that were already glued from the former owner :/) Francisco Durán
@@msj143 looking your video its amazing how short your take take offs were and how slow and smooth the landings with flaps were. Was a lot of wind ? Cool flying
@@msj143 I finally figured out all the bells and whistles the reversing ESC on my turbo timber evolution. It took me two and a half days multiple programming attempts and bindings 😜 I had to put it on channel 8 for the reversible ESC. And then I could hook it up to channel F instead of my flaps B. What a pain in the butt

Thanks for watching. I will try to make a video on that reverse on touch down. That slats helps short take off. (IMO)

@@ficosk8 Plane is really a good STOL plane. Half flap on take-off and full flap on landing. Lite wind and temp around 55 F.

Which do you prefer, with or with out the slats? I just got mine and have not put them on. Have not Maidened it yet.
The slat is good for STOL flying. For 3D/acrobat flying, without slat is better. Thanks for watching and good luck my friend.
