Being saved, doesn’t make us sinless. The Holy Spirit helps us sin less. He convicts and corrects us out of love, because He is our loving, Heavenly Father.
I still wrestle with whether or not I’m still saved at times, especially since I feel like I’m locked into a habitual sin I just can’t seem to break free of. One day when I was really struggling with this issue though, Hebrews 6 really spoke to me about it: Hebrews 11:6 [6] “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” This whole passage is a reminder about how we believe in a promise that we will someday have God’s rewards and it’s what we’re living for.
If you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ that he died on the cross shed his blood to Pay for your sins because you cannot do it yourself. and you believe he did this for you. You have everlasting life not conditional, not Probational, not to the next time you mess up. Your salvation has nothing to do with your works or your behavior it has to do with where did you put your trust? Do you believe Jesus Christ came down and died on the cross for your sins? Because you yourself cannot save yourself. That he shed 5:16 his blood to make that payment for you if you do this. He promises you that you have everlasting life and that you will never perish. The book of Hebrews is a tough book. But it's not talking about loss of salvation or staying in the faith. A lot of people mis interpret this book and these scriptures as loss of salvation, which is not true. If you put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved for all of eternity. Now that you're saved, read the Bible because you're saved pray because you're saved. Go to church because you're saved not to maintain saved or to work out your salvation. Please pray for me. I’m going through this feeling right now, since becoming a Christian, I’ve always dealt with invert thoughts. The devil likes to throw thoughts in my head like I’m not good enough, I’m not a true Christian, I’m a fake and a phony etc. I’ve been lately been praying in the morning and reading a chapter and praying before I go to work before going to work. And trying to talk to God while I work, (I don’t know always what to say, I admit) and on one break read a chapter and pray or watch one of your videos. Then go home and read the Bible for an hour or so or wait until I go to bed which I do both. I watch my political/ sports videos in between to catch up on the days events. But two days ago, in the middle of one of my sports videos, a thought crept into my mind. Basically saying, your not putting God first, and that I should be paying more attention to the Lord, I care to much about what’s going on in the world and not on Gods will. And I felt like a phony, and the thought of inadequacy, insecurity, fear and anxiety filled my heart. I always get this feeling that I’m doing something wrong, or I’m not doing enough, or I’m on the wrong path, and I start to panic. I always fear that if I am not hearing the Holy Spirit, my “ears have become dull” and that “I’m not listening.” It’s scary. I love the Almighty God, and Jesus Christ and what the Holy Spirit does for me. I don’t have very many Christian friends outside of church and the people that go to my church have their own lives, and I usually go to work after church. I live alone, and have little to do outside of work. So since that day, I went into fasting from the internet. I came on to hear a daily prayer to help me kind of put myself in track, and focus, on what to pray for. I seen your video, and decided to watch ( and it’s the first video I’ve watched since that experience) Yesterday besides work, read and pray all day. And today, all I’ve done is talk to God (which is always a good thing) I’m still trying to figure out whether it was Satan trying to make me feel guilty and shame, or was the Holy Spirit trying to tell me something. I need direction, because I know Satan likes to use my love for the Lord against me. Make me feel these negative thoughts of guilt, shame, fear, inadequacy, fear, doubt, and anxiety which leads me to overreact and panic. Please pray for me, I’m feeling lost and confused that I don’t know what to do.
Sounds like you're going through what I went through, and sometimes still am. Scrupulosity, or religious OCD is what people call it now, is when we focus too hard on ourselves to be perfect. I believe it's the sin of pride, we strive to be perfect ourselves instead of allowing God to shape us through His perfect Son.
@ A couple of months ago I saw a video on that too. It freaks me out. I know I fall short of His glory. And before I started going to church, I was reading the Bible a lot, because I was afraid of people judging me, because I seen a lot of people I used to call them “Bible thumpers” who would ( most likely with good intentions) would force religion on the people. But kind of a condescending way. And it scared me to death. When I see videos about lukewarm or another one I see “7 types of Christians that are going to hell” I try to swipe past them. Because I don’t want to be that type of person. Where “I’m not doing enough” and I know that passage in James that says without works is dead faith. Or the one in Matthew where it says I knew you not petrified me. It also doesn’t help, like I have a superhero complex in at my work which describes my character. And the devil loves to see me panic. And without many Christian friends it’s like, man I wish I had someone to talk with, because it is very difficult to overcome. I thank you for you comment, it helps a lot that to know I’m not alone in this battle.
(John 6: 47). Says ; Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that “believeth on me” “hath everlasting life”. You obviously believe what Christ says here. By what you say in your comments exactly explained what I experienced for years …. Notice the grammar in the verse, and what it says to the reader, here because it is in “present tense” that means you have it, now notice the possession it is “eternal life”. That means it will never end . John 3:36, John 3;16 are say the same thing grammatically. So Since you were born again spiritually, Yes this obviously happened to you, and realize that you didn’t do anything to be saved , you just took Christ at his word. You simply believed in him and received it. So congratulations you are a child of God , forever and your destination is Heaven. You will never lose eternal life because it’s forever and it’s free. Romans 5:15 says it’s so , and Romans 6:23. Congrats because unfortunately many will never find it.. Now that you know life and the author of life you must understand that “Satan” is like a roaring lion , and is the author of confusion, and he likes to shoot his fiery arrows at believers, which are (thoughts of doubt, fear, and confusion). Ephesians 6:16 describes what you are experiencing. Again the Congratulations on being born again , because if you weren’t an enemy you wouldn’t get those thoughts. Once you keep reading your Bible and “know the truth “ the enemy has a harder time keeping you in a state of confusion..

I´m autistic and very slow, God knows and I told him to talk to me as loud as possible because I´m not so smart xd. That´s why he leads me to these kind of videos, I´ve thrown God some good tantrums because I was feeling left alone, but he loves me the way I am and he is helping me thorugh everything, he´s always been. I also follow another RUclipsr sent by God that basically yells at the camera lol (in a good way), because he knows some us only understand like that, God is awesome, he knows us all, and there´s cavalry for everyone. Please, pray for me, the town I live in is very catholic but they are asleep to the fact we are in the end times, and I think the Lord wants me to help waking them up. But I´m so introverted, I feel scared of people. Pray for me so I have the courage to speak to people at all. Thank you.
There are believers in cath church,don't judge them love them. God will use you in big way just love, they may have few things wrong,but what church has them all right. They still believe that Christ died and rose again. Some caths I know of are the most knowledgeable about the word and Trinity I have ever heard with total verse recall, I wish I had that, Orthodox as well. When we talk we all come together. Under Christ Jesus.

I sometimes have a subtle question of salvation simply because I cannot weep for Jesus. It bothers me. I don't know if I'm just emotionally disabled or if I just don't understand something. I know Jesus took the wrath I deserve, and I know that He is working in my life. He has given me completely new desires and interests. Eternity is almost always on my mind, but I CANNOT WEEP. I pray that God would give me the privilege to shed tears for Him. I want to weep for Jesus!

Then go home and read the Bible for an hour or so or wait until I go to bed which I do both. I watch my political/ sports videos in between to catch up on the days events.
But two days ago, in the middle of one of my sports videos, a thought crept into my mind. Basically saying, your not putting God first, and that I should be paying more attention to the Lord, I care to much about what’s going on in the world and not on Gods will. And I felt like a phony, and the thought of inadequacy, insecurity, fear and anxiety filled my heart.
I always get this feeling that I’m doing something wrong, or I’m not doing enough, or I’m on the wrong path, and I start to panic. I always fear that if I am not hearing the Holy Spirit, my “ears have become dull” and that “I’m not listening.” It’s scary. I love the Almighty God, and Jesus Christ and what the Holy Spirit does for me.
I don’t have very many Christian friends outside of church and the people that go to my church have their own lives, and I usually go to work after church. I live alone, and have little to do outside of work.
So since that day, I went into fasting from the internet. I came on to hear a daily prayer to help me kind of put myself in track, and focus, on what to pray for. I seen your video, and decided to watch ( and it’s the first video I’ve watched since that experience) Yesterday besides work, read and pray all day. And today, all I’ve done is talk to God (which is always a good thing)
I’m still trying to figure out whether it was Satan trying to make me feel guilty and shame, or was the Holy Spirit trying to tell me something. I need direction, because I know Satan likes to use my love for the Lord against me. Make me feel these negative thoughts of guilt, shame, fear, inadequacy, fear, doubt, and anxiety which leads me to overreact and panic. Please pray for me, I’m feeling lost and confused that I don’t know what to do.
Sounds like you're going through what I went through, and sometimes still am. Scrupulosity, or religious OCD is what people call it now, is when we focus too hard on ourselves to be perfect. I believe it's the sin of pride, we strive to be perfect ourselves instead of allowing God to shape us through His perfect Son.
@ A couple of months ago I saw a video on that too. It freaks me out. I know I fall short of His glory. And before I started going to church, I was reading the Bible a lot, because I was afraid of people judging me, because I seen a lot of people I used to call them “Bible thumpers” who would ( most likely with good intentions) would force religion on the people. But kind of a condescending way. And it scared me to death. When I see videos about lukewarm or another one I see “7 types of Christians that are going to hell” I try to swipe past them. Because I don’t want to be that type of person. Where “I’m not doing enough” and I know that passage in James that says without works is dead faith. Or the one in Matthew where it says I knew you not petrified me. It also doesn’t help, like I have a superhero complex in at my work which describes my character. And the devil loves to see me panic. And without many Christian friends it’s like, man I wish I had someone to talk with, because it is very difficult to overcome. I thank you for you comment, it helps a lot that to know I’m not alone in this battle.
(John 6: 47). Says ; Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that “believeth on me” “hath everlasting life”. You obviously believe what Christ says here. By what you say in your comments exactly explained what I experienced for years …. Notice the grammar in the verse, and what it says to the reader, here because it is in “present tense” that means you have it, now notice the possession it is “eternal life”. That means it will never end . John 3:36, John 3;16 are say the same thing grammatically. So Since you were born again spiritually, Yes this obviously happened to you, and realize that you didn’t do anything to be saved , you just took Christ at his word. You simply believed in him and received it. So congratulations you are a child of God , forever and your destination is Heaven. You will never lose eternal life because it’s forever and it’s free. Romans 5:15 says it’s so , and Romans 6:23. Congrats because unfortunately many will never find it.. Now that you know life and the author of life you must understand that “Satan” is like a roaring lion , and is the author of confusion, and he likes to shoot his fiery arrows at believers, which are (thoughts of doubt, fear, and confusion). Ephesians 6:16 describes what you are experiencing. Again the Congratulations on being born again , because if you weren’t an enemy you wouldn’t get those thoughts. Once you keep reading your Bible and “know the truth “ the enemy has a harder time keeping you in a state of confusion..
I felt THE HOLY SPIRIT enter me at my heart as a young man. When I was saved. THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS NEVER LEFT. COME LORD JESUS❤AMEN!
Pray for me ..I used to feel the holy Spirit but then I thought I committed blasphemy and I haven't been the same since I know god forgives but just haven't been a happy camper since then 23 years ago

I´m autistic and very slow, God knows and I told him to talk to me as loud as possible because I´m not so smart xd. That´s why he leads me to these kind of videos, I´ve thrown God some good tantrums because I was feeling left alone, but he loves me the way I am and he is helping me thorugh everything, he´s always been. There are believers in cath church,don't judge them love them. God will use you in big way just love, they may have few things wrong,but what church has them all right. They still believe that Christ died and rose again. Some caths I know of are the most knowledgeable about the word and Trinity I have ever heard with total verse recall, I wish I had that, Orthodox as well. When we talk we all come together. I sometimes have a subtle question of salvation simply because I cannot weep for Jesus. It bothers me. I don't know if I'm just emotionally disabled or if I just don't understand something. I know Jesus took the wrath I deserve, and I know that He is working in my life. He has given me completely new desires and interests. Eternity is almost always on my mind, but I CANNOT WEEP. I pray that God would give me the privilege to shed tears for Him. I want to weep for Jesus!
