Hey, thank you for this video! I've been wanting to learn this one! I recently got back into skating after a 15 year break and your channel often inspires me.
my favorite part of a Thursday is this. You're a very big inspiration to my style. I'm a filmer/photographer, but I also like to skate, and freestyle is my favorite part.
+Robb Saintt hell yeh Robb! I'll be changing up the schedule a bit, but expect to still see Tuesday and Thursday videos every week. And thank you for the encouragement. It's been a blast to rediscover so many people who also love freestyle
i remember doing these when i was 12 since i loved Rodney mullen to death but honestly didnt hear the term freestyle skating till about a month ago 9 years later, makes me want to start skating again
Seen you on braille and finally found you I've been technical street skating for about a decade and I've been so burned out on it embarrassingly never thought about trying freestyle till I seen you on braille thanks for the inspiration
You should make a video where you string along all your trick tips in different ways to showcase how they are foundation tricks. Maybe a trick tip roundup for those that have trouble figuring out where they should take a trick. You could label each trick and then make playlist for that roundup with all the trick tips for easier navigation through your videos. Just an idea. I love your trick tips and seeing you perform then later and identifying them and how you do them.
Wicked gonna try to learn this on my 8.25 thanks for uploading this vids it's relly hard to find someone that likes to skate the way I do keep on rolling man :)
+IAmTheBestMang I've gotta try that 360 variant some time. Looks pretty gnarly Thank you for the kind words! It's a fun one, so that makes things easier
A hooker ghost? back in the day [ I know dropping years ) early 80's we use to call this trick hooker to hooker , not sure were Casper came from but at 56 years old still Skating and want to re-learn that trick Thank you Bro for the inspire Keep on ripping!!!!
just going to go out on a limb and say people probably didn't want to be associated with the idea of going from one 'hooker' to another O_o lmao - interesting to hear that though, time for some research I think! :D
so glad you said it! not a casper if your front foot is on the ground, couldnt agree more. also, sick video, kinda different from how i usually do it, i'm gonna go out and trudge through the snow and try it right now. i will report back shortly (probably on insta)
Never mind I guess lol, it's like 10 degrees in my garage, after like half an hour of trying my lungs are burning, I'll try again tomorrow, supposed to be warmer.
I do toeside rail to casper(I prefer to do my casper to casper without a varial rotation, it makes it easier to keep track of the board) and I'm curious as to why you bounce so much when you're in casper. Is it for balance or...?
+Evan McCloskey interesting. You should try a 1.25 toe side flip to Casper. That's an old Don Brown jammer. It's a good way to keep balance while adjusting your feet and weight distribution
I don't know if I realized how blue your eyes are until today. I think I mostly realized because you kept looking at your freaking view finder. I think it was the view finder? Whatever it was, your eyes were distracted. All love though, keep the videos comin.
I remember doing these and truck stands back in the day,
and was random af curious if there were any videos.
Keep it steezy.

I believe the Tony Hawk games had a 360 variation of this trick. Super smooth, especially being taught by someone as consistent as you.
+IAmTheBestMang I've gotta try that 360 variant some time. Looks pretty gnarly
Thank you for the kind words! It's a fun one, so that makes things easier
Mike Osterman You could probably do the 360 one first try. 2nd try on an off day haha.
