Thank you so much for sharing your story, your saw, views of your shop and your special projects from your childhood. Remarkable! I'm 76 and loved sharing your memories.
This just goes to prove, it's not the tools, it's the craftsperson using them. I was into Erector sets when I was that age. I'm now 78 and still monkeying around with nuts and bolts. Of course I have 3 scroll saws too. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
So neat - My moms uncle had a Scrollsaw that he made my brothers & sister toys on - he passed away in 1961 - in the mid 1970’ s I was given the Scrollsaw but it was seized up - I tried for year spraying it was spraying WD40 & I could never get it freed up to work- Steve thanks for sharing this it brings back his memories of his toys he made - my mom’s uncle is the reason I got into woodworking
my Dad gave me a coping saws when I was 5/6, poor man had to keep putting new blades in as my hands weren't strong enough. Very patient man! Did not get a good scroll saw until about 12 years ago and never looked back. Still love it and have taught 6 year olds! By the way..... Richard.... I could listen to your voice all day! So calming, love the accent too!
Great video I remember using a saw like that in school I really was hooked I really liked using the jig saw after school I went to work in a factory an got married stared a family and a few years later got my first scroll saw it was an amazing experience the different between a jigsaw an a scroll saw that’s been 40+ years ago thanks for sharing your story you will be pleased with a scroll saw

I'm 79 years old and I remember my dad having one similar to this. I wish I had it. Nice video and excellent work. Thank you....

Thanks for sharing. Great video! Thanks Steve Good for sharing the link.
great story thanks for sharing
Imagine the outcry if a parent gave a power tool to a 7 year old kid today. Guess that is why so many young people are totally incapable of any DIY.
Este video NO sirve para nada 🤣
